WORST SERVICE/CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I have been going to this location for almost a year getting my 12 y/o daughter's eyebrows waxed. I went today to see Kim, not the usual person I see, and experienced the worst service/customer service I have ever had.
Kim waxed half of my daughters eyebrows and then stopped because "she has acne and put lotion on her face". This of course after they charged me.
My daughter, like most 12 y/o girls has acne, and put lotion on her face at 7am. The appointment was at 3pm. I have never had an issues with her getting waxed because of these things.
I went back in and demanded my money back at which point Kim argued with me that she has a daughter who "she would never wax" and has "been doing this for four years". The girl at the front desk called the manager, Monica, who did not ask to speak to me or offer any apologies.
For that matter, no one apologized to me or my crying daughter.
To make matters even worse, after I got home I realized that Kim burned my daughter's face with the wax.
I will never go back here and highly suggest no one does either.
Terrible terrible at European Wax Center
Terrible, terrible service. My esthetician did not ask me what I wanted and went ahead with a procedure which was horrible. I spoke to the front desk person about how she had botched my waxing, and he said "well that's the way it is." I paid top dollar for a terrible wax. The McDonalds of esthetician services. Dont' go there!
Theft
Theft! And rude people working the front desk. As soon as my girlfriend walked out of my appointment she realized that she left her Versace sunglasses behind. She walked to the car to double check, and then back to go retrieve them. Upon entering less than a few minutes later, she was told that somebody was in the room and that they were not able to check. Since she had just left and didn’t understand how somebody could already be waxed in the same room, she suggested to knock on the door to ask if the sunglasses were in there. She went to go knock and the front desk receptionist yelled at her to get away, and that she was not allowed to knock, nor would the receptionist check. My girlfriend had no choice but to wait until the “next client” came out. After 10 minutes of waiting the front desk, receptionist said there was no point in waiting and that it will be over an hour. My girlfriend is undergoing a major surgery in the next few days and with all the stress of that she came back to the car in tears. She said, “I don’t know what else to do. She won’t let me check.” We were late for a doctors appointment so we had to leave and within 30 minutes, she got a text saying that they checked the room and didn’t find any glasses. How convenient! So let me get this straight, we can’t check the room, we can’t wait, and as soon as the room is “open to check”, they are magically gone? What more likely happened is the rude receptionist didn’t like my girlfriend going to knock on the door to ask if they were in there. After she got on her power trip and yelled at her, what incentive would she have to call and say “oh I found them”. The answer is zero. Again, 100%. sure she was wearing them walking in, came out with nothing, and somehow they magically disappeared. The aesthetician who worked on her was great, the lady at the front desk, rude as can be. We will be filing a police report and it’s sad that after many years of going there, she will never be back.
I wish there was a minus star
I wish there was a minus star. Went for a first time wax which was advertised free. The wax I wanted was offered at half price not free as advertised but that was ok. Unfortunately I did not get even close what I wanted and upon calling the center a rude girl said I’d have to wait for her manager to come to the facility and they would call. Three days later and no call. Seriously the idiot at the front desk couldn’t say come in and we will make it right?
horrible service. Popular for nothing
I got my wax done at the Newbury location on Wednesday oct 27 2021 . My appointment was for 4:15 pm. I specifically told the lady that I didn’t want them too thin. At the end of my appointment, show put on brow brow gel to hide that she had completely ruined my eyebrows. She then recommended I buy some I didn’t know that was why. After I went home and washed my face I saw that this lady had shaved off half of my brows. One was completely shorter than the other and there was basically no hair left. I want her to know about this if possible. I am the black young lady. I want her to know how sad and disappointed I am about this. If she needs extra training please let her get some so she doesn’t ruin other peoples faces. I look like an alien right now
Rude and dishonest
I went to the European wax center in Pembroke Pines, fl during my vacation there. Although I live Kansas. The lady that serviced me was Had very good customer service although she half did my full Brazilian wax. Upon calling the center back to get a touch up I spoke with Madison. She was very rude and snobby. She informed me that even though corporate says you can come back with five days it’s four days at there specific location. “We are a franchise; Our rules are different here.” I asked to speak with a manager. She said there is no one Else for me to speak with and would I like to book a new service. I said no thank you, she just hung up. I know that the rules are nation wide because they let me use my wax pass (from Kansas) to pay. She was very rude and dishonest. I will never go back to this location and I would not recommend this location. I still can’t believe she did me like this. Im a wax pass holder and such a loyal customer. I was very nice even though she had a bad attitude.
