VWFS Rent-a-Car - Huntingdon Omdömen 

I hired a multivan 7 seater from Huntingdon, it was in fantastic condition and the chap (Liam i think) was so helpful. he gave a full vehicle handover and showed us all the controls and how to arrange the deating plan inside the van. I'd highly recommend these guys to anyone in the area looking to hire.

Excellent service from Umar, I'd give 6stars if available! I turned up at Vindis Huntingdon on Tuesday morning, requiring a small automatic that same day, for 3 days. Umar found a Polo, within less than 10mins. He explained the process and insurance cover. He agreed that driver would give me a lift back to Vindis. Umar rang me twice, firstly to apologise that the Polo had already been booked out. He offered me a Golf at the price of the Polo hire, which I accepted. He rang me again to advise me that the previous customer had been smoking in the car and that it smelt of cigarettes. He advised me that I could cancel my rental. However, if I chose to proceed, he would valet the car to get rid of the smell. I agreed and when I collected the car, he was apologetic and left the can of car freshener in the car, in case I needed it. The Golf drove well and enabled me to continue with my activities.
I can't commend Umar enough, he's professional, efficient and transparent in his customer service, yet personable and friendly. I was reassured with his approach. He's an asset to VWFS, thank you and well done. I have no hesitation in recommending Umar and VWFS.

Very easy to advance book with a small deposit (9 days over the xmas period). Final payment and paperwork before pickup was very smooth, helpful woman on the phone (sorry, can't recall name). The Huntingdon rental is inside the main VW showroom at the back on the right handside. Helpful guy handed over keys and showed me where to leave car and keys if showroom were to be closed on New Years Eve (which it was). Car was perfect. Loss of one star because I had to chase the refund of my deposit. I would recommend VWFS Huntingdon and will use them again.

Rented a vehicle from Vindis via Volkswagen Financial Services, and the entire experience was chaotic and deeply unsatisfying. Just hours before the confirmed and paid for rental was due, I was told no vehicle was available and then blamed as "I only booked it the day before". Eventually, a van rather than the booked Volkswagen Polo was made available. Aside from costing significantly more on fuel bills, it was also filthy. I raised the issues directly, but there's been no resolution, apology, or even acknowledgement to date. For a 'premium' brand, it's been a very 'budget' experience.

UPDATE #1: Following VWFS Rent-a-Car's response, it's worth noting that, despite their comments, no one has reached out to me.

UPDATE #2: A further week later, an offer of a full refund was made and accepted. Issue finally resolved.

Very easy to hire a car on the same day after mine needed repairs. Friendly and professional staff and not expensive to hire a VW Polo for 2 days!

Following a car break down I contacted VW rental. Umar sorted a car for me in a speedy, professional and personable manner. He managed the hire extension requirement with ease and nothing was too much trouble.

I would definitely use VW Rental again should I need to.

Customer service as it should be.. friendly, helpful, polite, patient, accommodating, nothing too much trouble. No nonsense collection and return of vehicle. Like other reviewers I'd had a bad experience with another car hire company nearby, and was nervous about trying a different one, but VW were the complete opposite thankfully. Restored my faith! Wow, thank god Umar. When my car broke down and was recovered into VW. Umar sourced me a vehicle within an hour and I stayed in the vehicle until repairs were completed

My car unfortunately broke down, had a car booked with enterprise, but after they messed up, got in touch with Umar at rent a car. He quickly got me into a hire car with no issues within 10 mins. The service was brilliant and got the car I wanted. Would deffo recommend.

Following a terrible traffic accident I needed a car to get to and from work, the team at VWFS rent a car managed to sort one out for me same day! Liam and Umar were fantastic from start to finish. They understood my clearly, provide multiple options, discussed each one with me in a friendly and helpful way to ensure I selected the best option for my purpose. Collection was streamlined and efficient- Liam even provided a cable so that I could use Google Maps through the car display, thank you. The car was a dream to drive and drop off was equally efficient.

Booked a car for a couple days, the option I wanted wasn't available but was able to sort me out quickly with no extra charge. Prices were competitive, got to drive a 23 plate Polo, no issues. Hassle free. Liam was straight forward and got me sorted quickly.

Liam is a great guy! I needed a car in 3 hours. 1st I booked with a competitor and then they called me to say they ran out of cars. I was lucky to find Liam's business on Booking. I called him, we organised everything in 10 minutes, I went, collected the car and enjoyed the VW on 23 plate. Thank you Liam!
