VWFS Rent-a-Car - Durham Omdömen 

I'm becoming a regular / frequent user of Pulman Durham for vehicle rental, which I use for business purposes. This is predominantly as a consequence of reliability issues with trains and flexibility of travel.

Steve and Tracey deliver an excellent, friendly and ease of service alongside great quality vehicles. My most recent vehicle was a near brand new VW Tiguan that I had for 6 days.

I've already made a booking for next week.

Dealing with a family bereavement when the clutch went on my car. Found rent-a-car online and made my booking without any problems whatsoever, in fact even felt I had to phone..as it turns out Sarah to double check my booking and details as it was so easy to book a car of my choice (in fact made a couple of bookings over the period and took different vehicles of my choice) at the best prices around too. No issues at all. Car picked up at time of my convenience and dropped off the same. Must admit it’s a weight off my mind knowing this service is so local and easy as I rely on my car so much.

Sarah and Steve, who run the rentals at VWFS made us extremely welcome, with coffee and hot chocolate to keep out the cold—snow had begun falling as our London KX train arrived into Durham. They are lovely people and gave us a really terrific, top-notch service with no fuss. Our rental Polo was new, good to drive, and gave us no problems during our four-day hire, despite the sub-zero temperatures! We recommend them highly!!!

Sarah's help and efficiency during what unexpectedly turned out to be quite a lengthy period of car hire,where I was constantly having to extend the rental(daily in some instances),was invaluable.Highly recommend this firm.

What a great service I have had recently from all the team at the Durham branch.
I have been renting a car for a few months whilst my company car was on order.
Our company have an account with Enterprise and a car was initially ordered for me through the company.
Shocking service as they didnt even turn up with a car when it was booked in. I contacted your Durham branch and sorted with in minutes nothing was any trouble plus the price was cheaper too.
Plus the coffee served from the cafe is really good!!

While my own vehicle has been off the road and the buses have been on strike, Sarah and the team have been very helpful, arranging car hire at short notice and refunding part of my hire charge when I was able to return one car early.

My company hired me the car on the morning and I picked it up in the afternoon.

The gentleman that handed me the keys was spot on and even helped me connect my phone to the car.

2nd time I’ve hired a vehicle from here and once again had excellent service. Staff are friendly and process is no fuss. All costs are up front and they don’t push extras on you. Would use them again when hiring and happy to recommend.

From my initial phone enquiry to going to the sales room to make the application it was all very straight forward. There was very little I needed to do. The sales advisor went through the application process on the computer filling in relevant details. I made the payment and that was it. I was made to feel very comfortable and relaxed. Overall a very pleasurable experience. I kept on extending my rental period which was no trouble to them. The prices quoted were very reasonable. I would definitely go back if fact I wouldn’t go anywhere else

Excellent from start to finish, friendly helpful staff and very reasonable rates.
Car was immaculate, reliable and economical.
Unlike many other car hire companies, they provided the owners handbook which we found very useful. Great to be able to hire a car with very good sat nav installed.
