It is easy to be friendly before a sale. It is the after-sales service that reveals how much a company truly values its customers.

I am extremely pleased with the service I received from Vornado. Oliver was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He was also exceptionally friendly. He’s truly one of the friendliest customer care professionals I have ever dealt with. Thank you, Oliver, for making the entire experience so pleasant.

When my last Vornado product failed the company promised to reimburse me for the full purchase amount but then sent a smaller check and never responded when I contacted them about the discrepancy.

Now a second product — my VFAN Sr. — has failed as well, this time with a total motor failure under normal household use. When I reached out to Vornado, they told me that because of a company ownership change years ago, they no longer honor the warranties their products used to have, even though those warranties were a major reason many customers trusted the brand. They also said they no longer stock motors and “cannot ship to me,” leaving me with no repair option at all.

So within just a few years, I’ve had two Vornado products fail and received no real remedy for either one. It’s very clear this is not the same company it used to be, and the strong warranty and support they were once known for simply no longer exist.

Sadly, after decades of being a loyal customer, I won’t be buying Vornado products anymore — and I can’t recommend them to anyone looking for long-lasting, well-supported appliances.

I have made two vornado purchases.

My elderly mother loved the fan space heater I gave her perhaps above all other gifts. Pretty sure one of my sisters snagged it because I don’t have it.

The retro style table top fan I got for our vintage pull trailer has made its way into the bedroom. It is on 24/7 much of the summer. Adjustable, quiet on the lower setting. Keeps the room comfortable. Failing knees means I lie down a lot and this is the place. Gentle breeze, attractive gadget. Never fails.

Great quality fans and excellent customer service! I would buy from Vornado again.

After a defective product, I filed a claim for a replacement product. After I submitted my photos of the product on an online portal, cut the cord and shipped to the address they provided to me, I heard nothing. When I followed up, they said they didn't provide me a shipping label or receive any of my photos. Well.. to no fault of my own, I'm out a steamer and no one seems to be able to help me. Horrible customer service policies and a claim service process.

I loved the fan, I was surprised that their customer service was so subpar. When I pay a premium for what I thought was a premium brand, i was very let down to be treated with zero willingness or interest to help.

I use one in my bedroom. We wanted something that would circulate well so we didn’t have to bump the ac for the entire house down to low for when we sleep. It pushes air HARD and cold and feels great . Worth the money for all of you Eskimo sleepers out there
