I was very impressed with how both the Manager and Kathy helped me, (having being nearly 80 and bit of
'techno-dinosaur) Advising me on the best new contract, but also giving me some tech advice on how to get the best from my phone. They were patient and kind.

The friendliness of the staff- Paul today - and the understanding of my fear of technology.
Paul was kind and patient
He did not make me feel inadequate, as some people do because of my fear & ineptitude around technology.
I have used the Southport Vodafone store for over 15 years and have always been delighted by the willingness, friendliness and knowledge of all the staff with whom I have dealt.
Many companies try to get me to chance to their provider services but because of the staff in the Southoort store, I remain loyal to Vodafone.

COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE
I changed over to Vodafone for its Global Network from 3. This was on 1st April, I still have no network. I have been in store, on the phone and been asked to wait 48 hours, technical issues, portin issues, staff are working on it. Today I have been told I still have to wait again until next Tuesday. THIS IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. It is affecting my work, I have no network and no number. The staff have been nice but are all repeating themselves. It does not take 10 days to transfer a number from 3 to Vodafone…..I need it dealt with, waiting another week is just disgraceful!

I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve been without a network since joining us on the 1st of April. I completely understand how frustrating and disruptive this is, especially when it’s affecting your work and you’re unable to use your number.
Our teams are correct that delays can sometimes happen during a number transfer, particularly if there are technical or porting‑related issues between networks. However, I fully appreciate that this shouldn’t be an ongoing problem for this long, and waiting several days without a working service is far from the experience we want for you.
If things aren’t resolved by the timescales already provided, or if your service does not come online as expected, please reach out to our Mobile Support team on 0333 304 0191, or you can speak to them via Live Chat here: vodafone.uk/2LCJiTm. They’ll be able to review the port, check for any stuck requests, and escalate it urgently if needed.
If you’d like this to be raised as an official complaint, and you’ve already spoken to the Technical and Porting Teams without receiving a resolution, please come chat to my team on Facebook at vodafone.uk/2Fpnah2. We’ll be happy to take this further and make sure it’s properly looked into.
