Vodafone the worst network provider.
Vodafone has honestly outdone themselves — I didn’t think a network could be this useless.
I’ve had NO signal for two weeks. Not “bad signal.” Not “low bars.” Literally nothing. When I contacted customer service, silly me for expecting them to actually fix something. Instead, they treated me to a long performance of “let’s pretend we’re helping” while dumping pointless tasks on me. And of course, the best part: if I don’t complete their magical checklist in a few days, they’ll just close the case. Fantastic. Because obviously my patience is the problem — not their network failing for two straight weeks.
So I went into a Vodafone store thinking maybe a human being could sort this out. Nope. Even worse. The moment I mentioned cancelling under my consumer rights, they practically smirked and reminded me that the UK isn’t in the EU anymore — as if that’s their golden ticket to ignore customers. Apparently fixing the network is impossible, but coming up with excuses? Oh, they’re experts at that.
I’m paying for a service that doesn’t exist and getting customer service that feels like a comedy sketch — except no one’s laughing. The whole experience has been one long joke, and the punchline is always the same: Vodafone doing everything except what I actually need — providing a working signal.

My experience at the Vodaphone Derbion store , where I upgraded my phone was remarkably positive . A young lady named Beth delivered every metric associated with customer-centric service , as she was patient, helpful , knowledgeable, friendly, efficient and supportive throughout my time with her.

Exploiting the Elderly — Disgraceful Conduct by Vodafone
I recommended to my 89-year-old neighbour that she could find a cheaper phone plan. She visited the Vodafone store at Derbion and left with a more expensive contract, including an 8GB data plan she would never use or need. It's hard to see this as anything but taking advantage of a vulnerable customer.
Thankfully, I was able to accompany her back to the store and have the contract changed to a more reasonable one — but the experience was not easy.
Special mention to Jay and Ashleigh for some truly disappointing customer service. They were unfriendly, unhelpful, slow, and seemed uninterested in resolving the issue.
If you value your time — and fair treatment — I'd recommend avoiding this Vodafone store entirely.
