Umar Shamly took over the conveyancing seamlessly from a colleague, the interaction was always professional and prompt. The quote was very competitive and there were no unexpected charges at completion.
The company seems to routinely use 'Dear Sirs' for correspondence with women and men, this has old fashioned and misogynist roots. I would recommend it be discontinued.

Conveyancing for a leasehold flat
The conveyancing process took about 11 weeks with no chain at either end. Umar was able to arrange everything to happen on my requested completion date towards the end of March, which was close to the April stamp duty deadline so this was appreciated. One star deducted because my initial solicitor James, did not contact me and I was dealing with someone else who I thought was handling my case, but turned out they just looked after the onboarding process. Then after a few weeks of no communication I had to send a few emails to chase up who actually was dealing with my case (if anyone) and what stage it was at. Better communication would have helped to set my mind at ease.
