My father says that Malwina has prolonged their life
Malwina, the caregiver has helped my father and his partner tremendously. She is patient and understanding. I don't live in the same country, so she's very good at communicating with me and updating me frequently.

Veritas - a very helpful care agency
I always find Veritas to be very organised, prompt in replying and helpful.
Their customer service is excellent as, whenever I had an issue with anything, whether it was carer related or about payments, Veritas did their utmost to sort things out in a prompt, helpful and satisfactory manner.
The carers arranged through Veritas were professional and provided excellent care.

Veritas have been extremely helpful and although one carer didn’t work out well they very quickly found a replacement who was wonderful.

We have been very happy with Veritas…
We have been very happy with Veritas for a number of years now. Finding Veritas has been a lifeline for my Father who is now 93 with various health issues. We have had many carers with this company who been very good but the carer we have at the moment is exceptional . Having this type of care for my father gives piece of mind for him and the Family.

My Mother has 2 live in carers who switch every couple of months. They're both fantastic and show a real kindness towards my Mother. They take care of everything even my Mum's very long-winded shower ritual. We really couldn't do this without Veritas and we'd have to sell her house and put her in a hugely expensive care home where she certainly wouldn't receive the current high level of care.

Not Good .
Unfortunately the carers provided to look after my mother with endstage dementia was too much for them and after 3 days handed in their notice of 2weeks leaving before the next 2 carers could arrive . Which was very difficult for me doing 24hour care on my own for 2 days. But I did manage just tired . The next carer from Veritas left the day after she arrived ( without notice) leaving one carer (from another company) on her own this wasn’t acceptable so had to have my mother admitted to hospital who found her behaviour perfectly normal for someone with her condition and she was sent home.
With 2 carers from another company who were totally amazing in looking after her until she passed away last month.I definitely would not recommend this company for dementia care …
Thank you for your reply but please do not lie No medication was withheld by family And after 1 day in hospital she was fit for discharge without any change to medication .
It was just the carers method of restraint made her very aggressive …

We are very sorry to hear about your mother’s passing and extend our sincere condolences to you and your family.
We arranged experienced and professional carers to support your mother. Unfortunately, her vascular dementia presented with a level of aggression and volatility that had not been fully communicated to us and proved very challenging, even with two carers working around the clock. At the time, the prescribed medication was not administered due to family decisions, which contributed to her condition becoming unstable and requiring hospital intervention.
We have many clients with complex conditions, including dementia and Alzheimer’s, and we have not encountered a situation like this before. This highlights the importance of providing accurate information when arranging care, so that an appropriate assessment can be made, and care plans can follow medical advice.
After stabilisation in the hospital and administration of the prescribed medication, it is understandable that care became easier for the carers who replaced those we arranged.
We truly regret how things unfolded and wish you and your family peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Veritas are providing an excellent live in care service for Mum
Veritas have been great to deal with both in terms of lovely carers and the management. Having previously used an agency where we had no control over who we got and when they changed over - often at short notice - its so much better for us to be able to communicate with carer (via videocall) before taking them on and planning handovers well in advance. I wish we found Veritas sooner.

When we first had support from Veritas…
When we first had support from Veritas they were very efficient, listened to any concerns we had and were always resolved.
We did have a few issues when Johnathan left and Alexsandra took over. We found she was not helpful or supportive.
Then we had Kasia who has been very helpful supportive and caring from when she started. She is an assett to Veritas and also would like to say we had some very good carers look after my mother

Invaluable support
Veritas Care were great when we first contacted them about care for my mum. The initial client relationship manager Aleksandra was responsive and helpful. She spoke to mum, who hadn’t wanted anyone in her home, and reassured her. Mum liked her so much she wanted her to come! We then gained a new client relationship manager, Kasia, who was just the loveliest, kindest most helpful person ever. She liaised with us throughout the whole time mum had care and nothing was too much trouble for her. The carers were both very nice. I would say choose the carers carefully and be sure to set out clear expectations and boundaries which was something we learnt as we went along. Sadly we lost mum after a few months but Kasia continued to check in and let me know she was thinking of us. She’s a truly exceptional person and definitely the best thing about using Veritas.

Veritas allowed my mother to stay home
Veritas allowed my mother to stay at home. The carers were all experienced and caring. They understood, and coped with, the more difficult aspects of my mother's needs, particularly as her dementia worsened. The office always dealt quickly with queries. There were occasional issues with language and food but I would have no hesitation in recommending Veritas Care.

First class customer care
From my first phone call , I was immediately reassured that I could be helped and supported in finding the right person to care for my Mum .
The result is that I have been particularly impressed with the kindness and care now being given to Mum .I was listened to in great detail and consequently have two excellent trustworthy carers , whose references were readily given .
This was such an important arrangement that needed to be right , im incredibly grateful for a personal tailored service that has been excellent throughout.

The system is easy and well organised, carers are found promptly, and the WhatsApp video interview is a great idea and works well. The first carer has been lovely with mum and I am about to welcome the second carer on an exchange basis. Jonathan in the office has been most helpful and has dealt with everything efficiently. He is extremely pleasant and polite, and has been great to talk to when I’ve needed to discuss any details. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Veritas to anyone looking for a live-in carer.
