Fantastic stay at the Veeve Creative Mastery in Paris!
Fantastic stay, apartment was a good size, interesting, and situated close to the Louvre, many restaurants, and other attractions. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. It is on the top floor and has an elevator. You can see bits of some of the attractions like the Eiffel Tower, Pont Neuf, Montmartre, and the Notre Dame cathedral from the apartment!

"From Professional to Unresponsive: A Disheartening Experience"
At first, our experience with the team was very positive. They were professional, responsive, and we even sent them an email to thank them for the smooth check-in process. Unfortunately, our overall impression changed due to an issue we faced during our stay.
We discovered a mouse in the apartment, which was very distressing—especially since we had informed them that my wife suffers from a severe phobia. Despite reporting the issue immediately, the response we received was far below our expectations. The action taken was minimal and did not reflect the seriousness of the situation.
I later followed up via email to request a refund, but unfortunately, I received no reply. This lack of communication and accountability was disappointing, especially after the initial professionalism.
Good caretakers. Bad marketeers
Veeve were great at taking care of the apartment and I never had an issue with any guest. However, they weren't very proactive in terms of marketing and managing pricing. The property was often priced at very high prices compared to similar properties. I had to constantly ask them to reduce the price in order to optimize for bookings vs price.

Reassuring
For the last couple of years, we've let out our London house with Veeve acting as agents. We've had many bookings in that time and a good ongoing relationships with Julia and her team. They've been responsive and considerate throughout, especially when handling any minor unforeseen niggles. Overall the service from Veeve has been consistent and attentive which is reassuring since the property is our family home. We highly recommend them.

Poor customer service
Our experience renting a London flat had a promising start. The flat presented well and the greeter was prompt, personable and thorough. We checked in on a Friday. Saturday morning, no heat, no hot water. Apparently the 'boiler' was the master of both. A call to customer service had the issue fixed by Saturday night. Sunday morning, again, no hot water, no heat. Thus began a litany of phone and email exchanges with Veeve customer service, full of apologies and promises of imminent help. Finally, sometime late Tuesday afternoon (!), the boiler was restored...almost three days without heat or hot water in a Victorian flat in December.
Our request to shift to another flat or hotel was "noted", but nothing came of it. Once home, I followed up with Veeve about our experience and requested a 10% refund- very reasonable given almost three days without heat, hot showers and all those other wonderful benefits of the hot water. It certainly put a dent into our holiday. As yet, they have ignored us. A faulty boiler couldn't be foreseen but to absolve themselves of any responsibility to their guests/customers, is shameful. It's all well and good to take that victory lap when things go to plan but the better measure of an organization is how they respond when things go off script.
I won't again be a customer of Veeve nor will I be recommending them to friends.

While a change in plans resulted in my not being able to stay with Veeve, I had a fantastic experience working with Joanne who helped me navigate complications with VBRO (through whom I booked the initial reservation) to allow me to cancel and recieve a refund. Her attention, concern and empathy to my problem were greatly appreciated -- and made even more impressive given that it meant I would no longer be a paying client. So thank you Veeve and Joanne, it is a testament to your committment to customer service.

We are very happy with our Airbnb trip to Paris that was hosted by Veeve. They met us and handed over keys and gave us all information needed. The apartment was super nice and had all things needed. They are also very flexible as we needed an early check-out . Could not have wished more of our stay.

Our apartment in Wells House, Spa Green estate was everything it said it would be. Well located, clean, well appointed and furnished, with all the amenities and equipment we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend the apartment to other guests. Nicola A

Wonderful location if you don’t want to be centrally located , with excellent transport connections.Excellently and comfortably equipped flat. Excellent communication and organization by management company veeve.
Downside……1) extremely annoying daily, intermittant, loud, flat vibrating noise, from 7.00am to 7.00 pm. Likely coming from butchers shop next door.
2) Inability to control timing of heating system. Cold much of the time.
Wii definitely return if the above problems are resolved.

2014-24: A totally satisfied host-Solution to a need
I live in Manchester but decided to keep the family home in Hampstead when my mother-in-law died. We had various periods of letting it full time and keeping it empty for our own use, neither wo which was satisfactory. 10 years ago we came across Veeve. Since then we have had short term lets and had the house free for our own use when we needed. Financially a terrific arrangement.
The property management provided by Veeve (cleaning and house preparation for guests) lifted a great burden from us.
In 10 years we have only had 2 adverse incidents, both dealt with by Veeve in a totally satisfactory way.,
We have now sold the house. On the criteria of
1. Client management by the Host Team
2. Flexibility of letting arrangements, and
3. Financial terms
This has been a very good service.

Great Location
We (two 60-year-old women) had a wonderful time staying at this apartment. The location was ideal as we had the underground and uber boats right outside the building. Also having groceries and restaurants right outside the building was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Smelly Apartment in Bayswater, London
On check in to our apartment in Bayswater, London, I noticed an unusual smell which I queried our check in host on. She brushed me off but later on I pressed her and said "this place smells a bit weird". She told me it was because I was early and the cleaners had just finished and it was the cleaning products they had used. It didn't smell anything like cleaning products that I had ever used...
We tried airing the unit out and brought fresh flowers and incense but the place still smelt bad, we thought maybe prior guest were unhygienic. After a few days and further investigation we found it got worse after the showers were used and then we discussed 3 bottle of drain cleaner in the rubbish area. We put two and two together and realised the stench was coming from the drains in the bathrooms. After complaining to Veeve they sent a plumber with more drain cleaner however he informed us that this was a waste of time as there was a bigger issue. After further pressing Veeve they sent the on-site building manager to talk to us. He was very frank and told us this was an issue with the apartments drains and was unable to be fixed. He said that Veeve normally plug in scents through the unit to cover the smell.
After numerous calls to Veeve they were very apologetic and admitted all the faults in an e-mail and offered compensation. After 9 nights in the apartment at a cost of approximately 9,000 pounds they offered 150 pounds compensation.
Moral of story. Do not book through Veeve. You are much better to book through Air BNB where you can read the reviews and see if issues like this exist. Air BNB is much more transparent. These guys are anything but transparent and if your accommodation has issues they will say the right things but in reality just fob you off.
