Terrible printers.

Shocking how difficult they make printing from this printer. They hide all kinds of settings - just connecting to wifi was a pain because they first require an app that doesn't even work.
Cannot recommend more not buying these printers they are not made to last or function easily. I don't know why getting a printer to print is so difficult, but with Canon it is. Every single step is a pain. Drivers install wrong, it won't pull in the paper that is already in there instead just throwing errors and not printing again.
It is an utterly terrible product.

I ordered an ink cartridge from Canon…

I ordered an ink cartridge from Canon and they sent the correct box but the ink cartridge inside was wrong. It was probably a return where someone put the wrong one back in the box. They would do nothing about it. It took over 2 hours to get this done.

Cannon 2500

I have a Cannon 2500 I have boughten ink several times and every time is states that my ink cartridges are not recognized???? I don’t understand I’m using the exact ink cartridges that came with the printer. But overall it was a waste of money because I can never print things when needed. Very disappointed.

SCAMMERS STAY AWAY

This company are scam artists. I bought a Canon printer because it was cheap and on sale, and I don’t print much, just occasionally. So I went and registered my printer online and they offered me a free 60 day trial where they send me ink when my ink gets low. Like I said I don’t print much. The ink cartridges that come with the printer probably print 5 pages and that’s it, so during this 60 days they sent me one set of ink cartridges, 1 color 1 black. I have 90% ink level left after my 60 day free trial. So I canceled it, and then I realized a month ago they charged me 1999 a couple weeks ago they charged me $2.97 and then today they charged me $2.97 all for a free 60 day trial in which they sent me one set of cartridges that I barely used and then the top it off. I just went to make a photocopy of my drivers license and they actually shut my printer down saying I am not allowed to use the ink that they sent me because I canceled my plan. I am an absolute shock. They actually digitally shut my printer down and are making me take the ink out that I received during the 60 day free trial. Stay away from this company.

Canon Pixma TS 9520 Jams Every Time

I have a fairly new Canon Pixma TS 9520 and it is a horrible printer. It jams 90% of the time. I clear the jam and then it spits out 2 blank pages before it starts printing. I am using high quality paper, I have cleaned the print rollers (though they were spotless already), and I only use their own expensive ink. Don't waste your money on this lousy printer.

Unadulterated Garbage

This company and its printers are absolutely garbage. I know that most people know this, but I had to leave a review because I am steamed. I don't know what you have to spend on a printer for it to work longer than 6 months but it is more than what the "home printers" cost.

Bought a Cannon Pixma TS3722 at…

Bought a Cannon Pixma TS3722 at Walmart. $51.64 total with a 2 year service plan. Spent more than half a day trying to hook up to it with my phone ( Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 ). No luck. Downloaded the app like it said. Nope didn't work. Watched YouTube videos and tried . Nope didn't work. Very frustrating! Gave up. Went to bestbuy and bought an Epson XP-4200.$59 plus cost of a service plan. Unboxed it and plugged it in and when turned on hooked up to my phone within like a minute!!! Doing copy from my phone blazing fast!! Excellent work! I'll never recommend cannon to anyone. Go Epson!!

Purchased Camera and lenses from Web…

Purchased Camera and lenses from Web Site,shipped via FEDEX, Unable to schedule delivery time since they decided that only Canon Can do it, and signature was required called ask to schedule shipping times,I was Told Canon Can't change it,asked to be sent to FEDEX delivery center for pickup, Canon sent request,next thing I received notification from FEDEX that the equipment was sent back to shipper.
After that requested Refund for $ 4,509.
Customer service seem unaware of process, unprofessional,and long waiting times..

Canon pixmaTS3722 is TRASH Walmart sells that third party and does not give full disclosure about extra cost to get it up and running so if canon can't get you to pay for subscription they get you to pay charges of any issues to canon customer support it's a Trash company and Walmart i want a refund

I had a problem with a customer service…

I had a problem with a customer service manager on a printer that my wife purchased from a manager named David was rude and a plain disrespectful person to me after I explained to him that the printer that I had was being used as a backup it had been 5yrs since it was purchased but when I explained that my first cannon printer didn't go out since this weekend and I tried to hookup the backup that I brought earlier about 5yrs earlier telling him it had never been opened until yesterday when I tried to get it to work it didn't I got in touch with support and David happened to be the manager first he was very rude and crude to me and after I brought a service agreement from him which by the way he acted towards me I tried working with them to get my printer up and running when they couldn't he told me that I would be better off buying another printer i admit it was 5yrs old but it had never been used, David instead of offering me a new printer he wanted to give me $50 on a new printer a 500 dollar printer instead of giving me a new computer which he could have a million dollar company and he couldn't help a loyal customer with nothing but $50 and came with the insults saying I must be poor so I did curse him out because he disrespected me the whole time we talked, he has worked for Cannon for 23yrs and still doesn't know how to address good customers Cannon needs to be more aware of the people they hire, because I will never buy another cannon product because of his brazen attitude

Canon printers Headaces

Canon printers have given us so many headaches! Forget the wifi connection nightmares that are so difficult to connect but never stable. When you start a USB direct connection, you can get a few weeks working and then stop again. We kept making concessions by putting up with the noise and the overpriced toner, but enough is enough. Goodbye Canon! Time sucking bad printers.

Worst customer service ever

Worst customer service ever. You have to wait on the phone 1.5 - 2 hours after it your call is dropped, 2 more hours and your call is dropped again. Spent a week trying to reach Cannon printers customer support. Unable to. In addition to shitty product customer support doesn't exist at all. Bye bye Canon. Newer again in my life. It's to short to waist on waiting on nonexciting customer support.

Avoid This Ink Subscription – Canon’s System is a Mess!

If I could give a lower rating, I absolutely would. I subscribed to Canon’s ink program, thinking it would be a convenient way to get ink when I needed it, but the entire system is a disaster.

First, their website and app are extremely user-unfriendly—it’s impossible to navigate, and crucial options are either missing or buried under layers of confusion. I registered my printer (PIXMA TS3522), and while it shows up in my account, I can't enroll it in the auto-replenishment service. The closest model available is the TS3520, which isn’t what I have, and there’s no way to proceed.

Now, I’m low on ink, and despite my printer clearly showing this in my account, Canon’s system won’t order the ink automatically like it’s supposed to. I’ve spent over two hours trying to figure out a way to trigger a shipment, but the only option is to order it manually—which Canon then tries to charge me full price for, despite my active subscription. What’s the point of a subscription if I have to buy ink separately?!

To make things worse, customer service is non-existent outside of business hours. There’s no live chat, no way to contact support, and no help whatsoever when you actually need it. I’ve done extensive research, scoured their website, and tried every possible method to resolve this, but I’m left with zero solutions and a useless subscription.

This is hands down the worst subscription experience I’ve ever had, and Canon’s complete lack of functionality, customer service, and proper website setup is beyond frustrating. If you’re considering their ink program, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere—this is a waste of time, money, and patience.

Canon USA, terrible product and even worse customer service

I purchased a printer from Canon and used it very limitedly over the year that I have it. I experience a problem with the printer and attempted to contact their customer service line. I called the 800 line and waited on hold for over 1 hour with no contact with a person. I then tried the chat feature to resolve my problem and I am finally told this printer that has barely been used has to go in for repair and due to the fact that the warranty has expired I will have to have it repaired. I then call the phone number given to me by the chat representative and I speak with a person on the phone who tells me that I have to be put through to the support line that I hung up on earlier because no one answered the phone.
Terrible customer service and a piece of garbage printer. At this point I will be throwing the printer in the garbage and purchasing a new printer from another company.

Canon EOSR7

I purchased a Canon EOSR7. I have been working with it for over a month now.
This is a grossly overrated and overpriced piece of junk.
Not user-friendly.
Terrible customer service. I called three times and was not able to get any help.
There is no easy way to get your photos from the camera to your computer, where you normally want your pictures to go.
They have an okay app for your cellphone, but it is not necessary.
The owner’s manual is garbage, poorly written and frustrating.
I thought I would buy a new camera; my old canon was 15 years old, that it would be better. I’m back to using my old camera.
This is the last canon product I will buy.
I have the same issues with my canon printer.
It is a shame; they used to make good products.

Buyer Beware!

Buyer Beware!

We purchased a Canon Colorado M3W in June 2023, and it has been a nightmare from day one. Despite doing extensive research to ensure compatibility with our materials, this printer has caused countless issues, especially with white ink, which is critical for our business.

Issues Encountered:

Material Scratching: The printer scratched materials during operation, rendering them unusable for our design customers. Our complaints were ignored by Canon’s rep, Edward Andrew Towey Jr. (Ted).
White Gradients: The printer couldn’t handle white gradients, a key part of our work. Again, Canon's response was dismissive.

Installation Disaster: The tipping point came during the installation of 3,000 sq. ft. of film for a major client. The white ink literally ran down the film during installation, ruining the project and tarnishing our reputation. We had to reprint everything using our older, reliable printer, incurring significant losses.
Canon’s "Solutions":

Suggested using the film liner for application—completely unrealistic.
Recommended purchasing additional equipment for laminating—absurd given the printer's advertised capabilities.

Advised slowing down the machine, which contradicts its performance claims.
Stated they would no longer communicate directly and referred all future correspondence to their legal counsel, as indicated by Matthew Matejko (Area Sales Manager).
In August 2024, we were contacted by a Canon material representative who informed us that the material we use was having issues holding ink on any areas with less than 25% white coverage. They suggested we switch to Canon's material. We ordered, tried it, and experienced the same issues. No official notice about this problem was ever provided by Canon. When we contacted other material manufacturers and distributors, they acknowledged being aware of the issue but also confirmed they had received no official communication from Canon. This lack of transparency makes it seem like Canon is hiding critical information.
Customer Support Failures:
Canon’s response has been dismissive, unprofessional, and outright arrogant. After involving our attorney, communication ceased except for a bizarre and condescending rant from Martin I. Quintana, Director of Sales.

Outcome:
We’ve lost confidence in this printer and Canon’s support team. Despite our request to return the printer, it still sits useless in our shop, and we’ve been left with significant financial and reputational damage.

Advice:
Avoid this printer and Canon if you value reliability and customer support. We’ll be releasing a video outlining all these issues to warn other businesses.

I did not order ink but ink is on the way
Ok so my teenage son thought he was buying a normal printer for the house. This ts3522 is not that. It is a prepaid printer (I didn't even know this kind of printer existed for home use). I been having the printer for several months trying to find a free day that I could slow down and figure out how it works. The Canon site prompt me to subscribe to ink refill. Once I came to the end of prepaying twenty cents to get the printer to print a page out for me. I never agreed or selected that option (my page never printed). I was asked for my CC because to printer from your printer you must pay. I only paid to get a full visual of how the printer really actually work. Plus, the option I choose was only twenty cents. So, I then tried to print a sheet. The printer would not pull the paper through. For some reason this printer is not working. This TS3522 is a piece of crap. Last thing that happened. I was charged and currently being shipped ink for a machine that I what to throw out the window. Not to mention, I never ordered it or subscribed to get more ink. I don't even understand the device. I don't want to discredit Canon put this product is a joke. I just want customers to be careful when using the site because I cannot even find how or where to unsubscribe from this subscription ink order.

Unacceptable Conduct

Order of refurbished product [RF 100-400mm lens] automatically cancelled (not due to insufficient balance, automatic systems in place did not function correctly), and product sold out. No compensation, no alternative product order, just a good bye and “thanks for shopping with canon.” They suggested I purchase a lens 4 times the price with no offered discount instead—this was clearly not a reasonable alternative, I’m not buying refurbished because I have lots of money to throw around and I prefer a worn product. Unacceptable.
