The vehicle did not match the one shown on the driver's profile. The profile listed an XL vehicle, which costs more, but the driver arrived in a small car. As soon as he saw that there were six of us, he canceled the ride.
The second driver was far from the pickup location. Instead of honestly canceling the ride, he chose to stay parked and wait for us to cancel it ourselves.
I wish I could leave a negative star. The app showed my ride had already started and was on the way to my destination before I had even been picked up. Worried I’d be late, I booked another ride as a backup. When my Uride driver arrived first, I took that ride and cancelled the backup, which resulted in a cancellation charge for the full amount from Kari. I explained what happened to Uride customer service, but they refused to offer any resolution or goodwill credit. In fact, I doubt they read anything I said but just put it through ChatGPT. It’s disappointing that a loyal customer relationship ended over an issue like this.

We used Uride a number of times on a recent visit to Prince George in Canada and we were mostly satisfied. They did our airport pickup as there is no airport-city bus. We used them to get around town a few times after that.
Then we had an emergency when VIA Rail canceled our train to Jasper leaving us stuck in Prince George. So we had to use Uride for a 4 hour journey which they were able to do without any notice. That cost us CAD460 - expensive but blame VIA Rail for that.
Horrible unsafe experience.
Both drivers to our event ran through multiple stop signs (completely missed them) and 1 ran a red light.
I've never experienced that before. I will not use them again.
And the estimated rate was $27.00 and the fee came to $59.00 for the exact same place.
