Urban Dictionary Omdömen 

Has repeatedly allowed stalkers to use their site to stalk, harris, slander, and defame my character. I see I am not the only one this happens to.

They redesigned the UD site. One of the changes was users can no longer vote on whether to add pending definitions. But now it's unclear who CAN add them. None of my definitions have been added after weeks.

I ordered a mug from the UD Shop as a birthday present for my father. I have contacted customer services on several occasions over the past week asking for clarification about the delivery of my order and haven't had a single reply. They have taken my money and I have no idea when I'll get my goods -- if at all. UD UPDATE: This order eventually arrived weeks and weeks later unannounced. I've added a star for the fact they sent it. Shocking customer service.

I find urban dictionary to be quite accurate and enlightening. Also funny and to everyone who shut it down yall suck, and you have no sense of humor.

They always have the acronyms/abbreviations/slang I'm trying to find, so far at least, even when Googling fails to produce useful results.

Deze site ken ik als één van mijn vroegste herinneringen aan het internet, zoals bijvoorbeeld apekool.nl (site bestaat na meer dan twintig jaar nog steeds). Ook urbandictionary was er al in 1999. Je leest een stuk in het Engels en vraagt je af wat men met al die woorden bedoelt in de lokale volksmond, vervolgens zoek je het op et voilà. Mysterie opgehelderd

De laatste tijd heb ik het gevoel dat 100% van de antwoorden over zware beledigingen en seks gaat. Ik zoek bijvoorbeeld op 'ploughing', met de intentie of je dat ook kunt gebruiken als beuken in het Nederlands (duwen, torpederen). Dus dan bedoel ik beuken en geen n€uken. Daar n€uken onder verstaan is belachelijk vergezocht. Resultaten?

en dat was slechts één voorbeeld. Dat was slecht één van de vijf bladzijdes om te illustreren dat elk antwoord alleen maar van dit soort vunzige, vulgaire betekenissen weergeeft. Belachelijk infantiele flauwekul! Ik heb sterk de indruk dat de site momenteel alleen nog gebruikt wordt om doelbewust de rijke Engelse wereldtaal onderuit te halen en dat 'n hoop malle figuren niets anders doen dan rare betekenissen toe te voegen zodat nieuwe generaties zichzelf allerlei laag bij de gronds taalgebruik aanleren. Daar wil je natuurlijk niet je kinderen hun huiswerk mee laten doen. Gebruik maar een echt woordenboek, die geven in de meeste gevallen een veel passender antwoord.

This website/org is not about defining new, non standard words. It is a politically motivated organisation.

I can, and have down-voted (as well as up-voted) entries to their dictionary. But try down voting any negative definition regarding Trump, and you will be asked to "log in".

Why do this? Surely, it's because they don't like people disagreeing with negative "urban" words regarding Trump. Fake liberals run this site.

wrote six different views, simply wrote, politically correct, no hate and yet none of them were published so it definetely not open to the public !

The only problem is that almost all definitions involve something sexual.

Have submitted a word and they will not tell me when is going live. Sent emails and no answer. The word is also still avail for someone else to take so very frustrating. Could be a really fun site and was really looking forward to getting a word submitted with my details on but no starting to wish I'd never shared it as don't know what's happened to my submission!

Alt hvad du ikke kan finde i gængse ordbøger. Selv en slang-ordbog ville virke plat i forhold til denne. Her er intet at sætte fingeren på W0000ttt?!?!
