Consistent harassment for a debt I do not have.
Nothing to do with me.
Very unscrupulous attitude.

Wish I could give zero. The way in which the call handler spoke to me was abhorrent. Considering its a debt company, I would assume a majority of thier callers are vulnerable and struggling financially. This company owed ME money for 2 months and she was nothing but rude to me, it was like having a phonecall with a gobby teenager. They dont deal with complaints, probabaly because they are inundated with them.
They have commented advising to contact them about this matter. I already have via chat, and ive made a formal complaint but they dont follow it up. Pointless

If you are looking for a debt collection agency to collect a debt on your behalf, you need to find a competent operator in the industry with skills, ability and a sound reputation.
UK Search Ltd have none of these.
Their level of incompetence is like watching a dark British sit-com unfold before your eyes.
They came to me via a company called Business Flow.
Sadly they tarnished their reputation in the process.
(Business Flow must be inferior to their competitors to have made the foolish decision to employ these clowns.)
Do not associate yourselves with these half wits.
It's not worth it.

Jokers. trying to chase for a debt that’s been paid off with a whole different company a year ago. Spoke with EON next who confirmed the account is cleared. Chancers trying to get money they are not entitled to.

Absolutely disgusting company!! They have harassed me over a small debt even though I have been consistently paying every month, one day I received 14 phone calls from them and emails to say my payment is over due when I have never once missed a payment. A situation that is already difficult is being made 10x worse by the disgusting people that work there

You want me to pay an outstanding SES water bill for a property I HAVE NEVER LIVED IN.
I have told you this and told SES water this too.
I have lived in my current property for 9 years and paid my SES water bill.
It is a nonsense.

My son had a bill put in his name and it was nothing to do with him. He is mentally disabled and can't talk on the phone. The thing i spoke to was rude and basically said she doesn't care if he is disabled he's 21 and a adult, he doesn't have the mental capacity as a adult and it made me so angry that company's like this exist. Something needs to be done about these kind of people.

I saw an ad for Learn Direct on Instagram and clicked "learn more" but closed the page immediately. Days later, someone called me claiming I was trying to sign up. I told him it was a mistake and due to my job, I couldn't do it. He pressured me saying he would just register me and send a link so I could join when I was ready. I stupidly said okay and gave my details, including bank info.

Within 2 weeks, I realised I definitely couldn't do it so I called back specifically to CANCEL. The guy on the phone said "okay no problem" and I truly believed it was cancelled.

Imagine my shock when I found out they took a missed payment from my account at my old address! I called immediately to complain, but they refused to cancel and sent the debt to UK Search.

It has been 2 and a half years. Originally they claimed I owed £1084, and now I get a letter saying they've reduced it to £168.45 to clear it.

Why on earth should I pay this? I never did the course, I never joined, I never opened the app or logged into any link. I asked to cancel within 2 weeks and they said they did, but clearly didn't. That is their mistake, not mine.

I explained all of this to them and they said they would get back to me, and this is the result. Avoid this company at all costs, they sign you up without you actually wanting it and then ruin your credit! UK SEARCH / LEARN DIRECT - THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.

These guys are complete shambles

Time wasters.
I can’t believe companies like these are allowed to operate and harass people for non existent bills.
Despite providing all evidence of not being responsible for the said bills and responding via email which they have acknowledged, they continue to send further letters saying they haven’t had correspondence back.
And looking at all the other reviews on the trust pilot website, I am sure one can determine what sort of a business this is.

They are a nuisance company who solely harass people chasing bills which don’t exist.

Update 12/7/26. If only there was a way to give them a lower score.
They continue to harass me with threatening emails and provide no evidence of what debt I owe ( Hint - I don’t owe any debt and have provided them with all evidence )

Everyone needs to take this company to court, they have assets, these owners, so let’s all grab their assets as they are a profit making company. Not fit for humans, if humans don’t sign up to anything they are not liable for anything! Do not pay anyone that you don’t have a contract with. In fact, you must take what’s yours from them if they waste your time = £. So your time wasted? Go after their assets, find the owners and shareholders, they must pay!

How is this 'company' legal?!?! Trading standards etc really need to get their arses in gear as this is basically a 'legal' phishing scam!

I received an email and now a text from these people saying I owe money to my utility company. I’ve called the utility company I’m with and they have said they don’t understand why they have contacted me as I am and have always been up to date with my payments. I don’t know where they got my name and email address from but I am not trusting them at all. I’m ignoring it as I had a brief online chat with them to see what they would ask me. They asked me for my name, reference number and full address. If I apparently owe money to my utility company, surely they would have my address already. So I said I will not give them that info and ended the chat. Not trusting these people at all!!

I do not owe this debt and company told load liars of version of events leading up to this farce. Complained to original company still waiting for a call. This debt and original company taking no notice of me at all when I did not agree with it.I should be counter claim against them having trading standards as a witness. Disgraceful attitude on phone both times then they just hang up. Do not admit anything or even debt.

Would give it a zero if i could! Worst debt collector company ever! Ive argued with them constantly for weeks now because i refuse to set up a direct debit with them again after the first two months they were taking multiple payments and refusing to refund! I paid them yesterday and got yet another email to say my payment is over due yet they have 7 payments across 4 months! Pointless complaining aswell because nothing ever gets done! These need to be shut down absolutely disgusting.

Was being chased for a water bill for a property I havent lived at for over four years. No amount of proof inclusive of a signed and letterheaded end of tenancy agreement from my former letting agency. Miserable leeches who's logic cannot be appealed to, cause if I gave the exact proof that was stipulated in order to end collection activities, what am I supposed to even do?

I note the fob-off response received on Trust Pilot. I also note the email response which was nothing more than a fob-off.

We start our repayment plan for a Water Company Debt (Southern Water in my case) with the ONLY U.K Search provision given to us a monthly DEBIT CARD PAYMENT.

Over the coming year a regular monthly Debit card payment in system changed by the Bank to a STANDING ORDER because of its Regularity ( same U.K Search Account & Sort Code )
But No .....U.K Search non stop letters Threatening Warning... regarding the payment Agreement we made with you ....YOU HAVE BROKEN YOUR PAYMENT PLAN....
On this Technical difference of TYPE of payment they receive Loyally every month by us...Untold Credit rating damage and the internal debt history you hold that is of good respectable conduct across systems...is now Black listed our Historical record Problems in Honouring our debts , Could this lead to Court order? Certainly keeps their Agents justified in Abusive Threatening behaviour towards us ,U.K Search Tricks of their Trade? Beware keep your Bank Statement records at all times ,hope this helps someone out there !🤗

These have been contacting me for the last few weeks from a debt I have with one utility bill. They do not have any details on my account and what I even owe. I have recently been scammed and I am very reluctant and scared to send any sort of money to some bank details that it states on the emails which I informed them of this. They have no feelings or care about how people struggle. They are rude and unprofessional. Every reply from them they make sure they keep mentioning about the next steps would be county court claim and how much the court fees would be and solicitor fees. Very unprofessional!

Sent me a threatening letter chasing me for debt at an address I have never lived at nor had any association with. Then pushed back on the evidence I sent then proving beyond doubt I hadn't lived there. Cease and desist sent.
