I personally decide all my travel requirements after reading Trip Advisor reviews whether it is Airline, Hotels or any thing else. My decision on visiting any new restaurant is based on trip advisor review. I am a travel blogger myself with Facebook page Turban Traveler but recommend all to take a call after reading reviews on Trip advisor.

Tripadvisor is the most desirable site for reviews

Whenever I visit new place or have to do booking of any hotel any where I always first check trip advisor reviews so accordingly i visit place or book hotel .. ..and it has always helped me to make better choices ..

Excellent site where you get true and genuine review from excellent people who visited place of interest.

I cannot thank Tripadvisor enough for multiple reasons.

One, it gave me a platform where I can share my travel experiences, especially of places that one must visit, the local food that one shall not miss out on, sharing about the offbeat places which may not appear in the standard tour plans and on how to make the best of your tour.

I am an avid traveller myself and a vegetarian to be specific, which people think is a handicap, especially in international travel. However, TripAdvisor has helped me in breaking that myth and I am able to reach out to other vegetarians and guide them on how they need not miss enjoying local cuisine while ensuring their food is purely vegetarian.

Secondly, I get benefit from other travellers experiences too. I love reading about all my dream destinations, and the reviews on Tripadvisor (with pics and videos) can take one on a virtual tour. :)

I can go on and on about this, but the bottom line is THANK YOU SO MUCH team Tripadvisor.

Excellent site to source all about destinations, tourist attractions, hotels and much more. My first choice whenever I intend to travel domestic or overseas.

trip advisor is a good platform to check a place prior to visting the same. the filters are good on the review of a place but go by date...may they need to go by type of review or the score of review....ideally u want to see all the good reviews and the bad reviews of the same place.
other than giving score to the contributors, there should ba link with the reviewer and the reviewed place. that way the location will get better feed back and first hand info from a reviewer. aferall the reviewer has taken time and effort to write it down which has helped so many others

people like me would make more effort and devote more time if you started rewarding us on the basis of our readership i.e. something after reaching 50,000 readers and something more after reaching 1,00,000 readers and so on.

I think by reading reviews about the properties, one gets clear idea about what we are getting. I found the ratings on trip Adviser are genuine.Normally I have found that the property having good rating on TA above 3.5 star, mostly are good and worth visiting there.

To be honest, many people really giving truthful information and which really gives and help travellers. Some of the remote area / unknown place visit.. I had picked information from YOU.. it really valuable and high useful.

This is a true un biased platform where you get correct feedback on services from various players in hospitality industry. Whenever I had acted on the ratings and reviews from Trip Advisor, I was extremely happy that I had the right choice. And I love to give honest feedback on my experiences, which I am sure would have helped many a customers like me.

Have always preferred TripAdvisor for hotel reviews. Not so much for restaurants as there are so many forums available where it's done better.

Probably one of the best websites to explore new places and find good properties (Hotels, Resorts, etc.)

There is credibility with individuals sharing their experiences which are first hand.

Are the submitted reviews curated? Sometimes, very seldom, the quality of reviews by fellow travelers is not good and/or accurate.

A trustworthy tried and tested site for me

Can not do without TripAdvisor when planning to move - for tour, travel, trek or just pilgrimage. With expanding economy and more money in pocket, tour and travel has now become a norm for the millennials and even elders like us. No other portal is as reliable as TripAdvisor mainly due to its strict policies. Long live TripAdvisor and long live it's patrons.

TripAdvisor is a sounding board for me whether its hotels I intend to stay in, restaurants or places to visit
