Excellent day, exactly what we needed and well crafted around our requirements.
Definitely recommend for all levels of towing competence. I was just accompanying my wife on her course but I learned a lot although I have been towing since the 1980’s.!

Something that everyone looking to tow a caravan should do. Would highly recommend David who is very knowledgeable and informative. Nothing is too much trouble. Definitely have more confidence now I have completed the course.

I had just given up motorhome’g and about to collect our caravan having only previously only ever towed a small trailer. The day with Dave was so helpful in not only experiencing towing a caravan for the first time but learning about the importance of configuring the caravan and car for towing. I picked up many other tips on the techniques of caravaning and links to all sorts of source on the internets. Even where to get insurance at reasonable cost.

Dave Griffin provided an exceptional day of training, taking us through all the practical tips and knowledge as well as several hours of actual driving to experience and practice on all types of roads.
As complete newbies to towing, the course has given us the base skills and confidence to start our caravan adventures.
Can’t recommend this course highly enough.

David is brilliant. I didn't just learn about driving with a caravan, the course covered so many different aspects of caravanning. Remember to keep both hands on the wheel or you'll be told :-)

Dave Griffin's towing courses are just great - he's an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional tutor - I had towed a caravan 30 years ago and thought I was OK until I invested in his course - my wife and I had a days training, which really delivered, answering all those functional/practical tips in a tutorial, and then out on the road towing with reversing back at base - my wife had never towed and Dave gave her the confidence she needed and has towed our Swift Conqueror 580 regularly since collection - I would thoroughly recommend Dave to anyone who wants to avoid making costly mistakes - it worked so well for us - thanks once again Dave.

This course is an absolute must for anyone who needs or wants to improve their towing skills. The course is extremely comprehensive in both theory and practice with a major part of the training devoted to hands on experience covering a wide variety of driving terrain. By the end of the driving section you will have encountered most of the situations you will encounter on the open road. Dave is extremely knowledgeable, highly competent and has limitless patience
(both hands on the wheel please). I had some prior experience of towing a caravan, but this has definitely boosted my confidence. I cannot recommend this course highly enough.

Dave Griffin lives up to his nickname of Trailer Dave. He is a long-term driving instructor, so he presents without effort and in a way that holds your attention. He is passionate about towing safety, and his course is structured so that each step builds on the one before; making it easy to follow and assimilate.

I went into the course expecting the road drive to be a bit of a bore, but in fact, it was the cement that glued the theory together. I arrived a newby and left with equal measures of confidence and respect for the importance of towing trailers and caravans correctly.
