I bought my Ford Fiesta from Trade Centre UK back in June and, at the time, I had absolutely no idea there was potentially an issue with the tyres. I have since taken the car to my local Kwik Fit, and what I was told has left me extremely frustrated.

I was initially told that one of my tyres needed replacing. While changing it, the mechanic discovered blue liquid inside the tyre. I was then asked whether my steering wheel shakes when driving at higher speeds — which it does, particularly when travelling above around 65mph.

The mechanic explained to me that the blue liquid appeared to be a tyre sealant / repair preventative, which is used to temporarily seal punctures so that you may not realise the tyre has been damaged. He explained that the liquid in the tyres causes uneven pressure within the tyre so when travelling at higher speeds the tyres will be unbalanced, due to the constant movement of the liquid within the tyre, which results in the steering wheel shaking. Moreover, the this can strain on other components of the vehicle, due to the imbalance in the tyres. Additionally, the liquid breaks down the tyres from the inside, which will result in the tyres having to be replaced.

What made me even more concerned was being told by the mechanic that they see customers every other day with cars purchased from Trade Centre UK who have the same blue liquid inside their tyres.

I was advised that I should seriously consider having all four tyres replaced, rather than just the one that originally needed changing, because of the potential issues this could cause further down the line.

And this is where my frustration really lies.

I have barely had this car since June and have already had to deal with an issue that I was completely unaware of when I bought it. I trusted that I was buying a safe, roadworthy vehicle, yet I am now being faced with potentially replacing multiple tyres and worrying about what other damage may have been caused.

I was also sold a premium protection plan, which was included in the overall price of the car. At the time, I trusted that this was something worth having, but after this experience I feel extremely frustrated that I was persuaded into paying for additional protection without fully understanding exactly what I was getting for my money.

All round great experience bar one part, had a moment where a finance guy got very pushy trying to offer me the lifetime warranty and was quite aggressive with it but sales guy and collections lady Ammah I believe her name was

They sold me a car that was faulty I took it back they said it needed a clutch kit 4 weeks later they said they have ordered it a week later they said they have just ordered it lies lies lies I said I want my money back they said no then ignored all my emails for my mental health I took the car back and sold it losing thousands of pounds, never use this company check out Facebook first

Bought a Peugeot 3008 end of November 2025, less than 24 hours later the engine light came on. A few weeks later they 'repaired' it, however, the same issue then happened a further 4 times despite them 'fixing' it every time. The car spent a total of 8 weeks in the garage from December - March and finally had a rejection accepted after numerous phone calls with lots of promises to return calls that never happened. They have no sense of urgency and it took them weeks to 'inspect' the car for rejection. I broke down in France, they couldn't care less. The car ended up being towed back to them as it was undrivable. No courtesy car was offered whilst in for any of the 5 times it went it, and cost me nearly £1,000 in additional transport whilst with them in taxis/public transport and hire cars as I have a child with additional needs who is unable to walk distances.

We purchased a grandland x from wednsbury end of April.
When we left the showroom we had a strong smell of diesel. We returned and they put it down to the cleaning products used.
A few weeks passed and noticed a puddle of oil underneath. Upon inspection by myself I noticed oil coming from the gearbox. Upon rotating wheels whist jacked up there was a unusual knock from the gearbox. I formally rejected the vehicle and had to wait a month for them to inspect. Fast forward a few weeks trade centre inspected and told us the gearbox noise was actually faulty brakes. So they sold a car that had a 99 point check to wich the 99 points weren't checked.
After sales is abysmal.
Praise the lord our finance company were on our side and pushed the rejection through.

I purchased a 2021 (21 plate) Peugeot 208 from Trade Centre UK on 21 June 2026 in good faith, but unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing.

Within just two weeks of ownership, the vehicle developed multiple issues, including repeated “Add Engine Oil” warnings, an engine fault, loss of power and eventually became undriveable, requiring recovery. An independent Peugeot inspection also identified a number of concerns, including issues with the brakes and suspension, which left me questioning how these had not been identified during the pre-sale 99-point inspection.

The after-sales service was, in my experience, disgusting. I constantly had to chase for updates, many of my questions were left unanswered, and I felt that my concerns were not being listened to. One of my main concerns, the repeated “Add Engine Oil” warnings before the breakdown, was never properly explained despite me raising it several times. I also requested the full diagnostic report but it was never provided.

The whole experience caused a significant amount of stress. I was left without a vehicle for four weeks through no fault of my own, despite having a child and needing a car for work and everyday life. During that time I incurred additional taxi costs. I was also advised during the complaint process that a courtesy car would only be provided if I chose not to continue with my rejection, which meant I remained without transport while my complaint was being investigated.

After a lengthy process involving both Trade Centre UK and the finance company, Trade Centre eventually accepted the return of the vehicle, and I have now signed the rejection paperwork so the finance agreement can be cancelled.

I appreciate that the matter has now been resolved, but I would never purchase another vehicle from Trade Centre UK. My experience has completely destroyed my confidence in the company. I hope they seriously review both their pre-sale inspection process and, in particular, their after-sales customer service, as no customer should have to go through this after owning a vehicle for such a short period of time.
