Low porosity, high density, fine 2-3b hair.

Like all leave ins, this too was too heavy. Did not leave my hair oily or greasy but did weigh in down a tonne, especially at the roots. This turned even my curliest sections into stretched out waves.

The gel was nothing more than any other gel I tried. Left a white powdery cast. It had low hold on low porosity hair. I will stick with Jessicurl. I really wanted to like this product for the price and the science of it, but this is not for all curl types as it states.

Frustratingly seems it's another brand that tests on the highest porosity for control then claims it's for all hair types. Still yet to try the shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully they work better.

Update: I tried the below advice and sadly did not work. Actually left more disappointed in these products than before.

Firstly, yes, a lot of creams do weigh my hair down, Therefore, it is not for all hair types. My hair still does need moisture and very few creams work for me although a couple do. This was not one of them. 2ndly, despite my better judgement because I believe products should work into my best routine not my routine work around the products, I did try the gel on soaking wet hair, got a good cast and my hair was limp, stretched out and weirdly kinky after half an hour inside doing nothing.

This is not a good gel for my hair type. I might use it in a routine with other products, but it is in no way gritty enough for my fine hair and is not the "all in one" solution the advertising for this brand promises it to be. I am not new to the curly hair game by any means and the promises of these products are what lured me into spending over $200 on them and they do not deliver.

So onto the shampoo and conditioner, the reason I changed my review to 1 star. Only one other product has ever made my hair feel close to as bad as this shampoo did and it was a clarifying shampoo with undisclosed protein. This Tootilab product claims to be protein free but my fair feels like straw! Itight well be protein free but something in this does not agree with my hair and stripped it completely! I cried! I put in the conditioner and that didn't help. I left my hair over night, no products and put in a second lot of conditioner this morning, left it for 5 minutes and did not help. I turned to a deep conditioner from another brand which offered some saving grace. My hair still feels like straw and I will now have to spend a fortune on treatments and time to repair the moisture back into my hair. THIS IS NOT FOR ALL HAIR TYPES. I have never felt do disappointed in a brand and the fact that my previous concerns were met with unhelpful advice (again, not new to curly hair) makes me feel like my current concerns will also not be taken seriously by this brand. I will be throwing all these products out before they do more damage to my hair. I never have moisture issues unless caused by a product and this product has done exactly that. It's fair to say this might be for all curl types but it is not for all hair types. My hair is ruined, fixable yes, but will now take a lot of work. My hair is chin length, it should not have moisture issues. This shampoo just stripped my hair completely and conditioner did nothing to fix it.

This product is amazing! It's not cheap, but it's a whole lot cheaper than the literally hundreds of pounds I've spent previously on supposed wonder products, all of which flattened my 3C fine curls or frizzed them out! Tootilab Gel is dead simple to apply, works well on air drying and with a hairdrier, and has made my fuzzy mop bouncy, defined and brought out all the curls! I was also sceptical of their claim that re-wetting the day after would reactivate the product, as days 2 and 3 hair have always been a problem for me, but it works! I am totally thrilled, thank you so much!

I don't get on with products that I can't get out the bottle easily. The bottle is too robust to squeeze which is more than a little annoying. I purchased the leave in cream and the all weather gel and I cannot say I found them to be any more superior than high street ones I use currently. Just a little disappointed

I admit I was sceptical about whether the products would work; I always treat myself at Christmas time to some new styling products and am always left disappointed with the results!

Took the plunge though and thought I would give Tootilabs a try; the winter weather has been making my hair frizzier than ever and extremely dry so I thought it would be a challenge for any product to give me my curls back - I was wrong!
First time of trying and I am more than impressed; I’m in love! I’ve got my curls back and they last for days!!
I love the fact that there isn’t endless products so my routine is easy & quicker.
Love that lids on the bottles are different colours so for someone like me who can’t see without wearing my contacts I know which bottle is which in the shower.
The are the only curly hair company I’ve ever come across who puts braille on the front of the bottles which is so positive and inclusive.
So many positives and my hair smells, looks & feels amazing - I am so grateful to Tootilabs for giving me my curls back ❤️

I promise you that I have spent £100s trying to find the right products over the years. But no more hunting and being left disheartened. Yes they are expensive, but what an investment. I have used all four products together. Straight away you feel the difference on your hair, and the end result…soft, bouncy, defined, shiny curls and lots of volume. I am definitely a fan!

These products are fantastic! This is the only product I have ever used that allows me to go multiple days without rewashing my hair. Normally my hair feels knotted and coarse by day two - not with Tootilab products. My hair is also starting to change some in texture as I get older and the slip from all the products in this line are great! Would highly recommend!

I purchased the gel recently, and although it has held my curls in place, I found that halfway through drying my hair it began to frizz and I had to stop and allow it to air dry the rest of the way. The curls stayed in place for a few days which is what I'm used to with a slightly cheaper brand but what I'm not used to is my hair starting to frizz while drying. I used the same amount of gel as with my other brand, maybe slightly more gel if we are being honest, so I don't think it'll be worth my time buying this again when I get the same results with a brand that is so much cheaper and I use less product.

The Best Curly-Hair Products Yet! I purchased the bundle of shampoo, conditioner, styling cream and all-weather gel. I have tried every product - from drugstore to boutique, and these products were truly the best of all time! The shampoo was gentle to my scalp - the conditioner was moisturizing and a little went a long way, same for the styling cream - I have drier hair in spots - and this was perfect to apply where needed - and then the gel worked incredibly well - it sealed my curls and made them last, even in the rainy weather. I also appreciate the gentle smell of these products, just enough to appreciate - and not overwhelming at all. I love how inclusive the packaging is, too. I believe in these products and I believe in this company - and I wear the results proudly in my well-defined, frizz-free ringlets!

Since embracing my curls 3 months ago I have spent a small fortune trying a whole load of curly concoctions. I finally decided to take the tootilab plunge and OMG I’m glad I did. I bought the whole lot. In for a Penny, in for a pound right. I’m now on day 7 and I’m still not ready to re-wash my hair. I just slightly water spray my hair, crunch and voila it’s back to looking great. I’m totally converted, Thankyou so much. I used the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in cream and the gel and I also didn’t need to use loads either. I have wavy 2b hair, thick, greying, menopausal hair.

I cannot recommend these products highly enough. Excellent results every time. Leaving my hair shiny and soft.

This bundle is fabulous. I am two years in to my curly journey and sooo pleased to finally find a whole bundle that works well together for my hair. My hair feels so clean and no weighed down. My curls seem to last for about 4 days now before washing again. Will definitely be buying the whole set again. Perhaps some travel size ones would be good in the future?

Fantastic gel, makes my curl maintenance so easy. Each day I just water-spritz and scrunch and it looks as good as it did again on wash day. Highly recommended.

I recently bought the styling cream and gel and absolutely love both of the products.
There was a minor delay caused by the shipping company, which was handled very well and quickly by Tootilab. 10/10 experience, will definitely buy more of their products!

Curly hair Journey
Love this gel, gives good hold gave good curl definition and reduced frizz in my hair during the last few days when hot and humid. Im 5 months into my curl transition Journey so purchasing more premium products, I will be purchasing again. I love the fact that Gaia is a curly hair girly/expert and produced a product thats amazing and lots of research and development has produced an amazing product thank you ❤️

So far I've tried the leave-in cream and gel and I'm loving it! I only need a tiny amount of the leave-in cream for my fine, shoulder-length hair. I like to rinse it out and use it instead of conditioner, it gives me great slip for detangling. The gel is also easy to apply and gave me a good mix of volume and definition that lasts for a few days.

This is the first gel I’ve used (and believe me, I have tried dozens!) that doesn’t leave my hair frizzy! It gives great definition and lasts too. I would highly recommend this product. I will be repurchasing!!!

I usually use mainstream / drugstore products, so I had quite high expectations of these 2 products since the are priced so high. I probably expected too much though. I didn't get any better results than the products which cost around £2. I wouldn't recommend
