Kind people, unkind systems
The customer service representatives have always been very polite, kind, and understanding. I was disappointed, however, when a recent adjustment that I requested was agreed to, but not implemented. That left me with a negative account balance in my checking account, as well as an overdraft fee. Getting that error corrected has been an inconvenience on my part.

Timberline has been amazing except for…
Timberline has been amazing except for our last request to skip our monthly payment this November. It was taken out of our account despite the request to skip the payment. We then called to get that money refunded, but the representative marked our account to skip our December payment. We just wanted the November payment refunded. Which was discussed on the phone.
This situation was brought to the customer service managers.

Worst customer service I have received
I have been promised an estimate to complete on multiple different occasions by multiple different deadlines. I have been promised several call backs. I have not received any of this. Each time I call it's a new excuse as to what happened or why I don't have it. If I could rate this a zero star I would have.

Stick with the Timberline Program
I've been enrolled in Timberline's debt management program since around May of 2019. Today (Oct 24th, 2019) I was notified that Timberline had an offer to settle my first and largest credit card account. I was happy. One down and X to go. The 800 pound gorilla is now down to 500 pounds.
My advice to you, wondering if this program is the answer to getting out of debt (that's the bottom line), is to enroll and stick to this program. I wish each of you the very best. This is not easy. Lots of sleepless nights. Stick to your goals. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
