Thornbury nursing agency is a good agency. Staff are approachable ( HR) .
The only thing that’s make me a little bit upset sometimes was the way they do our payment like taxes and etc. But otherwise TNS is good.

Fantastic agency to work for, every part of the agency is first class, from joining, ongoing administration, website and quick nurse app, ongoing mandatory training, they pay well and very quickly! I have never had an issue being paid, and they communicate well with me, keeping me updated with payment deadlines and other changes. I work full time as a senior nurse for a NHS trust so don’t work that many shifts for Thornbury, but they always treat me well! No complaints!
I also complete references for Thornbury for other members of my staff at my trust who want to apply to Thornbury Agency, and their references are extremely thorough and outline specific skills that staff can or cannot do. No other nursing agency references are as specific! The reference forms are easy to use and send back to the agency!

I have been an agency nurse for many years, working for various companies.
None have been close to TNS for the help, guidance and support that I have received.
Every member of staff I have interacted with has been really understanding of the pressures nurses face and they are always polite and kind in dealing with you
working long hours under stress is often made worse but picking up the phone and the agency fobs you off or wont assist you at a time when you need assistance ,that's never the case at TNS.
They really do make you feel like part of things and that you are valued
Thornubury excell at customer service ,I never see my self leaving .

I have been registered with Thornbury for approx 4 years now, I started as a HCA and then progressed to an RN this year.
I now work for TNS full time and it’s my only job. I enjoy the flexibility they provide so my work/life balance is spot on. The rates of pay are amazing and I feel supported. As a NQN its daunting going to different places but the office staff at TNS are really supportive - I will not work for anyone else now! I left the NHS behind for Thornbury and it’s the best decision I ever made. I still get to work with the NHS, but just not for them. Thornbury Nursing has given me the chance to enjoy my job and learn new skills without the usual pressures that arise within substantive posts, and I can’t thank them enough 🖤

Very organised agency. They are professional and have a very good reputation across the country. You may have to travel slightly for work if you love in the South East/ London area like i do but i do feel the benefits of pay and paid mileage make it worth it.

Joining process is lengthy but they are very thorough. Once you are all joined, the nurse plus app is so easy to use. You can book shifts with ease and submitting timesheets for payment is simple and easy and you are paid in days. The best agency!
