Free will writing service
I arranged to have my will written at home through the free will writing scheme. My appointment was cancelled at short notice because there was no longer anyone working my area. A couple of months later I was contacted to say they now had someone and a new appointment was made for today at 2pm. As I had not had the pre appointment phone call i was expecting I contacted them only to be told exactly the same story as last time. My friend had taken a day off work to be here with me for the appointment. I asked why no one had told me the appointment had been cancelled and was told that they had tried to call me a couple of times. I said that they could have messaged me at the very least! Instead if I hadn’t called them my will appointment would have just been a ‘no show’. So disappointed in this company.

My Mother used this service for her Will when she found out she was going to pass from a terminal illness, out of everything i have had to deal with these guys have been by far the best customer service I have received especially Olivia Forster who had been my case manager, she had been a saint throughout everything, thank you all so much. I would highly recommend.

3 times this company has come up with excuses as to why they didnt turn up with the last appointment we had to re arrange our schedule, put ourselves out,the meeting was at 2pm and by 2.30,we hadnt heard anything i had to ring up onlt to be told he had family issues,WHAT A LOAD OF BS the time before that was car, problem,first time was family issues again,just lies after lies,steer clear of this company as they mess you about even a curtisey call would have been nice but no nothing they should be called thomas bradley ILLEGAL because of all the lies STEER CLEAR OF THEM

Whilst unforeseen circumstances can occasionally arise and result in appointments needing to be rescheduled, I recognise that this does not lessen the inconvenience caused, nor the disappointment of not being kept informed
I would like to investigate this further and review the notes on your appointments to better understand what happened. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and lack of communication, and thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Lazy, Lack of empathy and shockingly poor
The lack of care this legal firm has is astounding. After being charged £174 for a "Free Will Service" I thought hopefully I would get my money back quickly. Or even receive said Will. Neither has happened. I sat down to arrange the Will in September 2025 and this is now late June 2026. Their finance team have stopped replying to my emails even though I was told they were going to be arranging the refund. After telling me I MUST RESPOND WITHIN 14 DAYS of receiving the draft will I did so quickly and their drafting team said on the 1st of February they'd have a signed copy sent via postal mail. Nothing has arrived. Its clear they ask a lot more from their customers than they are willing to do so themselves. When its their turn to respond they go radio silent. But reading other reviews I can see I'm not the first and absolutely wont be the last to become a victim to their laziness.

Poor customer service
I was pleased with the service provided at home, excellent advice. But it's now 2 months and I haven't heard a word from them,I have tried calling and can't get to speak to anyone and emailed without any reply,very concerning as they have been paid in full, which I now consent a very silly error on my part . I really am loosing trust in this company and just want some reassurance

Having reviewed your case, I can see that the cooling-off period was waived. Once drafting begins, the process typically takes between 12 and 16 weeks, depending on the complexity of the matter and current workloads.
I completely understand your concerns regarding the lack of communication, particularly as it has now been around two months since your appointment. I appreciate how frustrating it can be when you are unable to speak to someone or receive a response to your emails.
To assist further, I will contact your Case Manager directly and request an update on the progress of your matter. Once I have received their response, I will ensure that an update is provided to you as soon as possible.

Alan Holmes excellent advisor
Alan Holmes came to our home, he showing his ID and introducing himself , Alan was very polite and went through our wills. He explained everything in a no nonsense layman's term. After he had done our will it didn't take long he went on to give us other information about other options to protect our finances he was not a sale's man and did not try to sell anything to us he just laid out our options
I would definitely recommend Alan to anyone seeking advice on wills power of attorney and associated work .
