Me and my husband got married less that 2 weeks ago in Cyprus and it was theeee BEST most easy organised experience I had in my life the wedding company made things so easy to do with the step by step guide leading up untill the wedding.

My wedding planner was called Amanda in Cyprus and she was absolutely amazing literally from start to finish and even after the wedding.

Amanda went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and Amanda is such a lovely friendly person. She spoke to me and my husband step my step and told us things about the area which really helped. We also had a birthday this week and Amanda advised us and showed us the best places to go (bakery)

On the wedding day one of our guest has a little accident and even then Amanda went above and beyond to help and still make the day go as perfectly planned as it did. Also Amanda was very polite with all the guests and made everyone feel included. She had organised the best make up artist for me and hairdresser to do my hair.

I still can’t believe how well and straight forwards the day went thanks to all the planning. We also recieved our photos from the photographer in a very quick time and Amanda was quick to send them to me too.

Overall I’m very pleased with all the help we recieved and just want to thank Amanda again for making our day as special as it was for us 💒

Me and my partner decided to elope abroad. The Wedding Travel Company helped us out to organise every detail. The process was very simple and straightforward.
We had the best day in Cyprus at the Golden Coast Beach Hotel!

You made a wedding to remember.

We booked our Sorrento Wedding with the Wedding Travel Company. We were given friendly, step by step guidance and an accurate timeline throughout all of the planning. Their representatives in the resort were absolutely fantastic and made our day just perfect.

I would strongly advise anyone considering booking their wedding through The Wedding Travel Company to think very carefully before doing so.

Our wedding experience was incredibly disappointing and fell far below what was promised and paid for. While bad weather was outside anyone’s control, the complete lack of organisation, communication, contingency planning and accountability absolutely was not.

From the moment we arrived, things were already going wrong. Promised items such as champagne in the room and our welcome pack were missing, meaning we were not properly introduced to the wedding coordinator or informed about arrangements. Staff did not recognise us as the bridal party, did not know who the bride and groom were, and we were placed in an extremely poor room despite booking a wedding package.

Communication throughout the planning process was also extremely poor. Our assigned representative, Kim Deller, was difficult to engage with, replies were often blunt and unhelpful, and we received very little proactive support or reassurance in the lead-up to the wedding. Even after the wedding itself, there was very little genuine care or meaningful follow-up shown despite the significant issues we experienced.

On the wedding day itself, the company failed to provide a suitable contingency plan despite knowing April weather in Cyprus can be unpredictable. Instead of the private wedding reception we paid for, we were moved into a public all-inclusive restaurant. Because of this, we lost huge parts of our wedding experience including speeches, our first dance, bouquet toss and the atmosphere we had spent months planning and paying for.

There were also multiple paid elements that were either not provided at all or not delivered properly:
• Wedding cake never served
• Sparklers missing
• Fairy lights not switched on despite costing over €1400
• Poorly presented decorations
• Signs and candles badly arranged
• Wedding arch collapsed during the ceremony and had to be physically held up by my husband, family members and staff to prevent injury

The hotel itself, Constantinos The Great Beach Hotel, was also extremely disappointing and nowhere near the 5-star standard advertised. At best, it felt like a tired 3-star hotel. Service was inconsistent, organisation was poor, and overall the experience simply did not reflect the premium wedding destination we believed we were booking.

What is most frustrating is the refusal to take responsibility afterwards. The company repeatedly attempted to pass blame onto the weather, suppliers or the hotel, despite the fact that we booked through THEM and trusted THEM to coordinate and deliver our wedding package professionally.

Their own response admits to “oversights,” communication breakdowns and failures in service, yet no meaningful resolution or compensation has been offered.

Planning a wedding should feel supportive and exciting. Instead, the experience left us stressed, upset and deeply let down on what should have been one of the happiest days of our lives.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I honestly would not trust this company to handle such an important occasion again.

Hay people had a wedding booked this year 2026 and easy jet hiked are flights up By £3000 because they moved the flights by 1 day obviously to do with the jet fuel issues and the war in Iran which are very much out of are control.... This obv blew the budget out of the water.. Reason for the review is.. The wedding company just want u to hand over your NONE REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT.. as you have seen in many of there replys to people reviews excitly like this they will say terms and conditions and you agreed etcetc but my goodness real life sometimes happens and jet fule issues etc are out of are control and a bit of flex in the company's stance from time to time expecially when then problems can be proven would benifit this company massively as they are hard hearted cold and useless when you ring as present... Her words on the phone were "you can still get there you just don't want to then" my reply was " I could get to the moon if I had the money but I don't and we are in the same situation with the wedding" ...

So long story sort.. The sale girls reel u in and sell u a dream and a package and payment plan that suits.. After that it's different people with different attitudes and they are money grabbing unhelpful and unwilling to help. We tried to find solution and were shut if at every turn. Or options were pay more and move the date. (which put us in the same position or moneys gone)

You might think sure it's only one review I thought the same but it happen to us and it can happen to you!!! I wouldn't recommend them at all I'd warm people away in fact... £3200 gone.. Upto ourself.

My recommendation..... GO WITH ANYOTHER COMPANY THEY ARE CROOKS! hopefully this saves someone a fortune!!!!

Update... As you can see from the reply very much sticking to the terms and conditions which if you are going by the book then yes they have every right... Point of the review is real life happens and obv the above situation was out on our control. And the wedding company kept every penny even though the wedding was the best past of a year away and they had out laid no cost.. Very unhelpful and by the book they will do zero to help in the case of an emergency or serious issue.. Avoid avoid avoid

The wedding Travel company were fantastic. The recommendations given was exactly what I discussed with Sarah on the telephone she knew exactly what i wanted. The booking process was also very straightforward and everything was done for me. Having a new born and a 18 month old baby the wedding travel company made the whole process really easy without any problems or stress. Thank you so much! 🙂

We have tried to plan a foreign wedding ourselves 2 years ago, it was soo complicated and difficult that after 2/3 months of reaching out to venues and and getting very unclear responses, we gave up on the idea and settled to have an average hotel here in Ireland look after it as there was too much to plan once we opened the can of worms. Due to unforseen circumstances we had to cancel that, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

We decided to give it another go, when we found the Wedding Travel company we thought it was too good to be true. But after sending an enquiry to them I got a call from Sarah within 10mins.
The prompt response and extensive information she gave us made us 100% confident that this is the way to go. She wasn't pushy or a like a classic sales person, instead she was very honest with us. She made us aware that the place we enquired on originally wasn't necessarily the best spot for us and made us aware of other logistics that we wouldnt of even thought about in that area. She made a recommendation based off of information she gathered from our call and now that is the place we are getting married.

I could write a book on how good I think this company and Sarah are but im trying to keep it short.
I'd highly recommend anyone to use this company, even if your not planning a foreign wedding cause you think it might be too hard, give Sarah a call and it'll be the best decision you ever made.

Roxie is lovely. Been in contact with her for over a year now, asking different prices, finally found the perfect price for all our guest. Any questions I have had, she has always answered them for me. Really easy and takes the pressure off planning my own wedding. Would 100% recommend.

Have booked a wedding in Malta July 2027, Suzanne has been really helpful booking the wedding and answering every question we had.
