The Rug Seller Omdömen 

Placed an order over 3 weeks ago that should have arrived in a couple of days, and still is yet to. After emailing and calling I've only managed to speak to someone once (a week ago). He explained they had had technical issues with the delivery company, my package appeared to be lost and he would contact them to see if they needed to send out a replacement, and that he would call me back in ten minutes, but never did.
I've never had a reply to an email and after calling too many times and no-one picking up, I have essentially given up in having this resolved, despite it being a simple issue (I ordered a rug, it never arrived, send a new one). Reviewing here in the hopes they may actually respond and help to resolve it.

After requesting a refund through PayPal, I was finally contacted to say a replacement had been sent out. Was told rug was out for delivery, and then couldn’t be delivered, twice. Was then told by the rug seller that it hadn’t even arrived in my local depot yet. Finally received our rug 5 weeks after ordering.

Happy with the doormat which was significantly cheaper than anywhere else and arrived quickly.

Bought a 140 pound in stock item, chased delivery after 5 days to be advised out of stock till march and was given a choice of refund. I chose the refund which then turned out to be in 7 -10 working days (not in their T & C’s) and after many e mails chasing I received a refund 20 days after placing the order.

The order was delayed which wasn’t a problem, but on arrival the two identical mats ordered are different in colour and labelling. I have emailed the company twice with photographs, with no reply, so I am unable to rate them highly. I wish to return one of them and don’t expect to pay postage, as it is not my error.

I have heard from Rug Seller who have apologised for the delays and have refunded one of the rugs with an explanation for the error.

I am, therefore satisfied and changed the rating.

Returned mat on 6/01/25 and see it was delivered by tracking it.
Made several enquiries about refund to be told it’s being processed but still waiting.
Customer service is non existent. Wouldn’t recommend any one using them.

I ordered my rug 2 weeks ago. After being told it was dispatched, and that the customer service representative Wil would call me back with a tracking number, I have heard nothing.

They don't answer the phone when you call the customer service number, and they don't respond to emails. I have no visibility as to whether I will in fact receive my rug.

The FAQ says you can see your order on their website in your account. But this is false, and nothign shows.

I will have no option but to inform my credit card company and to let them know I've been subject to fraud.

AVOID THIS COMPANY - Customer Service is none existent. Despite several emails and numerous phone calls with regard to chasing for goods which still haven't been delivered.
I've requested a full refund so I can place my order with a reputable company which obviously this one isn't.
Still waiting for a response. I will be reporting this issue to Trading Standard as I've layed out a lot of money and received nothing.

Ordered something on 4th Jan and still not arrived. Communication from company has now stopped but yet they were still happy to take over £100.. no idea when product will arrive or response concerning refund

Order made for two rugs and due to time taken I contacted company who assured me that the delivery was on the way. Few days later I contacted again to be told that there was a mistake in dispatch and they would send it the following day. It arrived the same day. There seems to be a breakdown between sales and admin. We ordered two rugs which were the wrong colour (our fault)so we arranged return at a cost of over £27. We have been chasing our refund ever since. We have had email and telephone promises but still no refund. We are owed £247.97 which hopefully will be resolved soon. I will update this site when that occurs. Thanks for reading.

I order a rug a month ago.After a two weeks I received the rug dirty.After two weeks I still wait for my replacement.Shocking delivery service…everyday it is delayed.Never again “the rug seller”.Today is Friday…now they reschedule the delivery for Monday.This company it is a joke for sure

Excellent service from ordering to delivery.

Ordered two rugs over recent months, both arrived within a couple of days, great price, packaged really well and arrived in excellent condition. All good.

Several aspects make this company stand out for me; first the ease with which I was able to identify exactly what I wanted, secondly the price of the goods on offer, thirdly the (very high) quality of customer service and fourthly the excellent packaging when my item was delivered. All these go together so very well and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future - a big thank you to all involved!

I ordered two matching rugs- the larger arrived promptly and with care. It is stunning and everyone who sees it is bowled over by the colour, quality and design. The smaller one was out of stock and I was offered a refund, replacement or to wait for new stock. I chose a refund and it was processed quickly, easily and without fuss.
I have no hesitation in buying from them again and also recommending them to family and friends.

Very quick delivery and decent quality rug.

Customer service however left a lot to be desired. Attempted to use a discount code from the Blue Light website stating “11% off everything”. There were no other terms and conditions relating to this.
On contacting the customer service however, I was told this only applies to full price items.
I advised it might be helpful to edit the wording of their discount advertisement as it is somewhat misleading. Instead of being grateful for bringing it to their attention and accepting the feedback, I was met with a lot of snarky comments and an insistence that they were doing nothing wrong.
Not sure if the customer service line is manned by students, but it very much felt like dealing with a pair of argumentative teenagers.

It’s a very simple thing to amend. Have since raised this with Blue Light.

The Rug I purchased was wonderful Quality - and the Delivery and after-Service was Spectacular
