Disappointing Customer Service

I recently purchased clippers from this company, and unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has been nothing short of disappointing. From the very beginning, I encountered difficulties that left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

Yes I did manage to get in touch with their support team, their responses were often unhelpful and lacked empathy. It felt as though they were not genuinely interested in addressing my concerns or ensuring my satisfaction as a customer.

Overall, my experience with this company's customer service has been far from pleasant. While the clippers themselves may be of decent quality, the lackluster support has left a lasting negative impression. I would caution others considering a purchase from this company to be prepared for a frustrating customer service experience.

Ordered Goblin clippers, trimmers, and some accesoires in March for full price. Had to pay some extra customstax, which I expected. One product was missing and the Goblin clippers package looked “opened before/damaged” and the machine looked like it been used..
I reached out to the customer service and they let me know that the missing product wasnt available, and gave me a refund. The clippers I had to send them pictures, and after viewing them, they concluded it was all good and that if the machine was working correctly they would take no further action. It seemed strange to me, and I really feel I bought/received a used machine..
Clippers worked nice, its very sharp, but after 3 months, it broke down..
The on/off button did not work anymore and I contacted the customer service again. They told me it needed a fix and after I payed a “warranty fee” I would be able to send it to them. So I got a machine that broke down and I need to pay a “warranty fee”? That doesnt seems right to me, and I told them I was not happy with it. They said they understand, but paying the fee was my only option…
Besides that I had to fill in some forms, make a lot of pictures before and after packaging, and than send it to them. The return shipping cost I had to pay too. After a while I got the news that it was fixed, and that they shipped it back to me. Again I had to pay customs tax over the same product…
I contacted the postal service, and they told me TPOB didnt stated that the tax was already payed, and that I needed to contact them. I emailed about it twice, but never got a reply back.

Long story short, I payed a lot of money in the end for a product that doesnt seem very reliable. Warranty procedure is terrible, and customer service is hard to deal with..

I ordered the Ghost X trimmers, straight out the box they were amazing. They are now my go to set. The customer service was excellent and I have nothing but praise for TPOB. Definitely my new favourite supplier.

I would like to express my disappointment with the customer service I recently received when dealing with TPOB.

Firstly, I must convey my concern regarding the behaviour of the staff members, including the owner. I found them to be consistently rude and unhelpful throughout my multiple interactions.

Furthermore, my experience was further marred by a significant delay in the delivery of my order. Despite opting for express shipping and paying the additional charges associated with it, the promised delivery timeframe of 3-5 days has elapsed, and my parcel has not yet been dispatched.

To exacerbate matters, the response I received from your customer service representative was less than satisfactory. When I raised my concerns, they dismissively asked, "What would you like me to do about that?" Such a response not only fails to address the issue at hand but also reflects a lack of empathy and understanding towards customer concerns. When trying another platform of communication (Instagram) the owner responded to me with absolutely no interest to assist or even regret to the service I had received as a new customer supporting his business.

Regrettably, based on my encounters, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to others.

Fantastic clippers at a decent price, have bought from them since lockdown.
Very helpful with any queries .. had one where blade was snagging but sent them to them and they were sent back all repaired and worked perfectly!!!

I think I’ve had just about all the range from start to now and I’ve never had an issue with the products or the brand. Great tools great customer service and an amazing brand.

Never had a prob with anything ever bought from TPOB and customer service is 1st class. Reading the reviews bellow seem to be as if there’s a wich hunt against this company.

Have the phantom, Goblin, Slime 2, all shipped to New Zealand no issues.

Just copped the new Troll clipper and trimmer Along with the Psycho blade. The phyco blade is a hitter.

You can’t beat TPOB branding, Packaging, quality and price point.

They have everything from entry level clippers to professional level clippers I use in my barbershop everyday.

10/10 would recommend

I purchased my clipper online and tried to return (while they had no returns of refunds page). My customer rights allow me to setup a return within 14 days of delivery. I got told I wasn't allowed by email and then they continued to ignore me until I told them I am allowed by law to do so. Long story short after 2 months I got my money back from a charge back. I have never had this much trouble trying to get a return/refund. I would never touch or advise anyone to purchase from them. Plus they try to remove all the bad comments like mine on Trustpilot and Facebook to stop people seeing what they do.

I have bought multiple tools from this brand and all have been great from the start. All are still in good working order months after extensive use behind the chair. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews but took a chance. 5 star quality!

I’m usually not one to leave reviews, but I thought I’d leave one here because of great my experience was! 5 stars for the ordering process, customer service, product, and shipping. I won’t be using any of the other companies anymore, TPOB is my now go-to.

A week and a half ago I ordered the Platinum Pack which included multiple sets of trimmers and clippers as well as combs. I am so glad I decided to go that route because the package delivered super quickly(within a week I got it) and the quality of the tools is superior. I used the tools last week and they are PERFECT. I am thankful I won’t have to order from any other company because of the quality of these tools being exactly what I’ve needed and have been looking for. I reached out to the customer service of the company to express how stoked I am on the tools, and they responded in a timely manner and were a pleasure to speak to. I was nervous at first, since I’m so used to sticking to the bigger branded companies, but I’m glad I pulled the trigger and supported this smaller business. I will never go back to purchasing my tools, scissors, or combs from any other company!

The company have the worst customer service you could get. I private messaged them about the ceramic blade I purchased being too small for my machine and was ignored, so I commented on a post telling them my mind and they replied “if you felt this way you should have just dm’d us” when I later went to dm they blocked my account. Useless company that literally just buys cheap sh** from china and relabels it under their logo. Do yourself a favour and just buy from original companies like andis, oyster, wahl etc…

I ordered a couple of items from this company. They lied about posting them, they failed return emails until I got my bank to retrieve my money from them. Having read some other reviews. This seems to be a common thread. Do not believe all the reviews on YouTube. They are paid promotions.

Great range of high quality clippers, reasonably priced and excellently packaged. Received my order with zero fuss and couldn't be happier, the results speak for themselves. Looking forward to purchasing more tpob gear!

These guys are completely unprofessional. Placed an order a month ago and the item hasn't arrived. I've emailed TPOB 5x times and they have only replied once. Worse still they just keep on saying wait another week over and over again on their websites chat now. I've asked for a tracking number several times and they have not provided me with one. When I was getting nowhere with their non existent customer service, I had to raise a cashback claim, to which they provided a random tracking number that was completely unrelated to my purchase showing as delivered 42+ miles away from my address. This action shows they are prepared to be fraudulent and provide wrong information in order to attempt to fudge and manipulate the selling process. These guys are as unreasonable as they are intelligent. I feel like I am dealing with a brick wall. 1 month later and I still haven't received a refund. AVOID AT ALL COST
