Our experience with The Hen & Stag Planner was extremely disappointing and stressful.

We booked a hen weekend package including flights, accommodation and activities. As our travel date approached, we still had not received flight details or booking confirmations despite repeated requests.

During this period, communication became increasingly difficult. Emails went unanswered, contact methods stopped working, and we were left trying to verify whether key parts of our trip had actually been booked.

We subsequently had to spend a significant amount of time arranging alternative flights, accommodation, transfers and activities at short notice, resulting in additional costs and considerable stress for the entire group.

We have retained extensive records of our communications and booking history. Due to the circumstances surrounding our booking, the matter has been reported to the relevant authorities and our financial providers for investigation.

While we have since received reimbursement for some of our losses, the overall experience caused significant disruption and is not something we would wish on any group organising a special occasion.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend using this service.

Evie messaged my sister 3 days before we were due to fly asking for a bank transfer of £2500 for the deposit on the villa. My sister contacted the airbnb to find it had been cancelled and it was free for hire again that same weekend. Evie had cancelled the accommodation a month before and got a refund. We asked for our money back and she ghosted my sister. Evie also hadnt booked our transfers, private chef and a boat party that she had promised. The stag party she had also booked, the flights and accommodation didnt exist. This woman is a con artist and is not to be trusted. We have found more people that have also been scammed by this woman. Avoid her at all costs!

We regret to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, our company has ceased trading with immediate effect.

As a result, all holidays, bookings, and future travel arrangements are cancelled effective immediately. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and distress this situation may cause.

Customers who have made payments by debit card or credit card are advised to contact their bank or card provider immediately to begin the chargeback or payment recovery process.

For reporting and verification purposes, the matter has been formally logged under the following reference:

We recommend that all affected customers provide their bank with payment details, booking confirmations, and this notice when submitting a chargeback request.

Evie is nothing but a scam artist, scamming people out of thousands of pounds, pretending to book flights, accomodation, activities etc for hen/stag do’s. This happened to my friends hen do recently, we were lucky to rumble her a week before we were due to travel, otherwise we would have arrived at our destination with no where to stay and nothing booked, even though everything had been ‘allegedly’ paid for! Promised refunds that never materialised, then just tells us all to request a ‘charge back’ through the bank. No acknowledgement, no explanation, no apology! Reported to police and action fraud! Hope she gets what’s coming to her😡

Unfortunately I think this lady is a scammer. If you have your hen/stag booked please please please report to the bank and police to get your money back. Evie caused so much stress, ruining what is supposed to be a special time for our friend (the bride). The flights she “booked” didn’t exist. She booked the apartment but didn’t put any deposit money down. She refused to provide proof of activity bookings. Told me and my friend different stories about why she was no longer on social media. Trust your gut! There’s a Facebook post where many other groups have come forward to confirm the scam.

We were scammed by Evangeline Dyer-Canning of The Hen and Stag Planner. We paid deposits in mid 2025, full payment made in early 2026 for a 3 night Hen Party. Nothing was booked when either the deposits were paid or when the full payment was made.

We have full proof of the timeline and extreme scam Evie was in the middle of pulling off on our group. Evie accused our group of having 'trust issues' with her and tried to play the victim card in a particular email.

Sometime between November 2025 and then end of January 2026 Evie deleted all social media belonging to The Hen and Stag Planner and recently her own Facebook profile has been deactivated. The Hen and Stag Planner website appears to have been taken down too. Websites and social media can be removed but the digital trail and evidence still exists.

Evie is operating under 4 different email addresses and 3 different phone numbers that we could locate. Including using a personal email to circumnavigate booking flights for groups as airlines require ATOL protection confirmation for group flights booked via travel agents.

Evie had assured us in writing that she was ATOL and ABTA protected - she is not, under any variant or her own full name or company name. It is illegal to make this claim in the UK.

Only when pressed for confirmations for flights, accommodation and transfers did it come out that Evie had no made any bookings relating to this hen, even though she supplied in writing a booking confirmation on headed paper. Our flights were only booked the week we started asking for confirmations. Flights booked were not what was agreed as part of our booking, they were with a different airline, different times and had no luggage allowance. Evie then proceeded to book transfers to a villa that she had never even booked or enquired about.
Evie reached out to the Villa management company to enquire about availability/to book for our dates only 6 weeks before we were due to stay. The timing of her reaching out to the Villa management company coincided with the email where we requested confirmations along the contact information for the Villa to arrange an online shopping order delivery.
We reached out to the Villa management company independently, who confirmed all of this to us. We had catering, activities, and full supplies bought for a Villa hen.

Evie seems to have forgotten that we live in a digital era, everything booked is confirmed by email almost instantly and date stamped and timed. We became very suspicious when confirmations could not be forwarded on quickly. Also, once you are named as a travelling guest on a booking you can actively seek information from the final supplier, be it an airline, villa, accommodation or activity supplier.

We only got refunds in dribs and drabs and the final refund came weeks after Evie stated she had made a full refund to everyone.

Evie is using Stripe payment links to collect money - very easy to set up and use to collect significant amounts of cash from people.

We were ghosted by Evie once we presented her with all the proof we have and she not once offered an apology, explanation or showed any compassion, remorse or embarrassment for her actions. We somehow managed to pull the hen back on track but with hours of stress, upset and panic on our side!

To reiterate - we have evidence, proof and back up via emails, screenshot's and independent investigation as to the events stated above.

Scammer! Booked hen parties and ran off with the money thousands of pounds down the drain because of greedy selfish untrustworthy individuals! Scam company been reported too police.

Evie has scammed not only us, but the stag party, and two other hen parties that we have found.

She is not insured with ATOL, ABTA & IATA. The company that her id numbers for these lead to, have confirmed her account is not active so cannot claim to be insured!

Left us two days before a hen do with no transfers, accommodation or activities. Ghosted or blocked us! Had cancelled our villa a month prior to the hen with no word about it to us.

We booked our holiday to Dubai through Thehenstagplanner and the service was absolutely incredible from start to finish. What really stood out was how personal and attentive the experience was.
When we landed at Dubai airport, we even received a call to make sure our prearranged private transfer was waiting for us, something we’ve never experienced with other agents before. The level of care and attention gave us complete peace of mind right from the moment we arrived.
The entire holiday was planned perfectly, everything ran smoothly, and the value for money was excellent. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
We highly recommend Thehenstagplanner to anyone looking for a reliable and personal travel service, and we will definitely be using them again.

The Hen & Stag planner planned my absolutely dream Hen Do in Ibiza!! It was the most amazing week, everything was planned to perfection! From flights to hotel to beach clubs, everything was so smooth and easy! Can’t thank Evie enough!
