My husband and I had an amazing tour of India’s Golden Triangle thanks to Karan Jaswal and The Grand Indian Route tour company. The trip was very well planned and everything went smoothly from start to finish. We stayed in lovely hotels and were chauffeured around in a very comfortable, spacious vehicle. Our driver Lallu was the best, always where we needed him to be. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. The architecture of the different palaces, temples and forts was simply amazing. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to see a part of India, truly a memorable trip.

We have just returned from an affordable luxury tailor made trip to rural Rajhastan. It was a very enriching experience, and we had the most amazing time. The Great Indian Route planned the trip to the last detail, every step was smooth and well-coordinated from start to finish. Karan Jaswal, co-founder of the agency, constantly kept in touch with us during the trip to make sure that everything was right, moreover, he went beyond the planned itinerary to include extra experiences to match our interests. The guides were excellent, extremely knowledgeable of the sites, history and everyday life. And the driver, Pankaj, was the best ever. We stayed in spectacular heritage accommodations. We experienced everything possible, from temples, palaces and forts to bird sanctuaries, safaris, and an amazing experience overnight in the desert, with camel ride included. But what we loved mostly, were the people, the tribes with their incredible colorful clothes and their warm welcomes. The Great Indian Route’s detailed planning made this a truly memorable journey. My first tour with them: but certainly not my last!

Karan and TGIR created a wonderful trip for my first visit to India. Before choosing him as my travel agent, I had some idea of the things I wanted to see and experience. I contacted several different agencies and it quickly became clear that Karan was the one who completely understood what I was after and was able to provide a highly customized itinerary at a reasonable cost. All communications prior to the trip were timely and professional.

During my three week trip, Karan had everything very well organized. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and well looked after. I spent some of my trip in remote villages without communication to the outside world and was able to completely trust the drivers and guides that were with me in these places. At every other time he made sure that I always had access to wifi in the car while driving and in the hotels so I could be in touch with home.

Karan communicated every day to make sure things were going smoothly, and when the occasional issue arose he reacted promptly to find a good solution. He has connections with many of the hotel owners and managers and is able to negotiate for room upgrades which is also a nice perk after long intense travel days.

I am also happy that Karan is committed to supporting other young travel entrepreneurs and partnering with them in order to create even better opportunities for his guests.

Now that I have returned home, I can hardly wait to begin planning the next trip. Thank you so much Karan for everything you did over the last weeks and months to create such a special experience.

The Grand Indian Route booking experience was very positive. They have organised two weeks Golden Triangle trip with care and precision listening to every wish, ideas and concerns of ours. There was not even one problem with hotel rooms, guides or drivers. If we had any question at any time we had a contact person that helped us 24/7. It made the trip safe and with no worries.

Thank you for arranging the whole package for us. We enjoyed every bit of it. The itinerary was well planned and organized. Everyone in the group were fully satisfied with the route and the places we stayed.

Stay at Manali Keylinga Inn was excellent. Breath taking views and easy access to Mall road and near by places.
Stay at Sarchu, Antrek camps was not up to the mark but taking into consideration that we were in the middle of nowhere, it sunk in.
Stay at Hotel Asia B Block, Leh was decent. It was very near to Shanti Stupa and Leh market. People there were pretty friendly and have extended the breakfast/dinner timings when we were a little late. Thank you so much, we needed it.
Turtuk holiday Resort took us by surprise. Hosts were truly humble and friendly. The place was so good we just fell in love with the place instantly. They served us with in-house grown veggies and fruits. All Organic! They also gave us a complimentary room and guide to show us around!
Hotel Snow Leopard in Hunder was very near to Nubra Valley. Stay was pretty good. We had campfire setup for the night (had to pay extra).
100 Sky Camp at Pangong was better than Sarchu and was Okish. We were not that happy with the camp people as they made us rush and checkout by 10Am.
Stay at Srinagar, Shelter Heritage was super nice. Hosts took good care of us and welcomed us with tasty Kawah(Kashmiri tea). They arranged local sightseeing for us and we went for Shikara ride in Dal Lake.

The driver and Mechanic who accompanied us were also skilled and friendly. Happy with the team!

Food provided at all the places we stayed were pretty good and was treat for our tummies aster long tiring rides!

Overall, we had good stays with good food provided and we enjoyed each and every bit of the trip. Thank you team for making this happen and arranging us this wonderful trip of a lifetime!!

An amazing trip that couldn't have been any better. There were a few issues but that's how it always is. Would definitely do it again.

I made three trips with the “Grand Indian route”, the number of times I chose it for my travels itself speaks for how satisfied I was with their service. Two of the times it was their regular package - Delhi to Hrishikesh-camping and Rafting and Delhi to Ranthambore national park, we got what we were promised and had a hassle free, comfortable journey. The third time I was traveling with my family around Chhattisgarh and despite short notice they arranged for a customised package that included a taxi, the tour of sites and stay, the people they employ are polite and knowledgeable and I was very happy with my experience with them. I hope to keep coming back to them in future too for my travels around India.
