I believe it works, however, at a cost. I have tanned easy my whole life. I’d always wanted to try the Fox tan and I followed the directions to perfection. Also, applying a factor 70 spf; more than recommended. In the sun for 30 mins and burnt me bad! If you read you’ll understand it’s supposed to speed up your tan. People who like to stay out in the sun longer could be at a higher risk of sun poisoning. I have used numerous products. I wanted to love it, but this is dangerous for the skin. If you decide to try for yourself, please be careful! I didn’t look burnt or feel burnt until 6 hrs after exposure.

The best product ever. I have extremely pale skin, every holiday I’ve only ever burnt and come back the same colour as I left. This product has given me the deepest tan I’ve ever had, I’m so dark and didn’t burn at all. I used the fox tan accelerator 4 days before sun and every night whilst away. I bought the jet setter set and used the original rapid spray and the watermelon, both were great. I can’t understand the reviews saying it doesn’t work, for me it did everything it says.

This product is extremely dangerous. I sun burnt very very badly using the cream as instructed.
Appalling- don't waste your time or money on this crap.
You'll end up blistered and have to stay out of the sun for a week!!

So I have pale skin n normally burn before turning white again but this stuff (the fox tan) was recommended to me, had high hopes for this stuff, followed instructions, 4 days of applying the elixir then applied the spray on the 4th day, after 2 hours in the sun…… NOTHIN! waste of money 😡

Only used 3 times and have a lovely tan just from sunbathing for an hour a day during the last UK heatwave. I wore spf15 on top of it. Really pleased I found this product, it really works if you use it sensibly. It suggests using a few days prior to sun exposure but I just applied it only when sunbathing as I only discovered it mid heatwave,so didn't have time to build it up. It still worked perfect. My tip is only apply it lightly as the product with the pump bottle is yellow and can leave streaks on your skin. All trial and error but I wouldn't be without it now :)

Ive seen some bad reviews about fox tan, i used it and it gave me a beautiful tan, id not recommended using it for sunbathing for long periods of time as it accelerates the tan so in my mind that means for example you need less time in the sun/sunbed to get the acquired tan, every time i went for a walk or run when it was sunny id apply it, so id be out for 30-60 min and sunbeds 6-9 mins once a week and this was enough.

I’ve seen lots of reviews saying this is a great product, and I do believe it works for some people, and that it’s a good product - but not for all skin types. I’m naturally pale and thought this would be a lifesaver. I put it on a few days before the sun as instructed and continued to apply it after that. I went out in the sun with full suncream on and genuinely got the worst burn I’ve ever got in my life, and have been in pain all week - to the point where I’ve had to ice my body. I’ve never got much colour but I’ve never really gotten burnt either this is a first for me. Be so so careful wearing this if you have fair skin! I’ll be sticking to the fake tan for the foreseeable future!

The sun products are fantastic. Especially the banana foam. The self tanning line is complete trash. Smells awful. Beware they do not accept returns. They are very prompt to reply to emails about tracking orders or recommendations what to try but they will completely ignore any and all emails that contain complaints or if you’re not satisfied with their products. All in all, I’d rather buy their products from ULTA so I can return anything I don’t like. Their customer service is biased and unreliable.

I never write reviews cos I cba. But this deserves it tbh. Always had problems tanning my face - my body always patchy - would use coconut oil but never helped much. LOL.

AYO! I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE!! Don’t know why everyone is crying on here about it burning their skin in the sun or that it’s made them red in under an hour etc etc ….It enhances your tan ?? It’s a tan ACCELERATOR ??? so obv it’s going to get working 1000% faster no???? Kinda common sense really isn’t it??? I feel like all these negative reviews just prove that it works lmao

Fox tan is my holy grail hands down
!! Just don’t stay out as long as you would normally as this is a TAN ACCELERATOR & use your head. Simple. Recommended 100000% x

This is the 2nd holiday I've used this product on, bought fresh for each one. Used 5 days prior to holiday and the mist whilst away and both times I just didn't change colour. I normally tan well in the sun, even in the UK. With foxtan I hardly changed colour in Cape Verde and Florida. Once I gave up and stopped using it on my recent trip to florida I got a lovely tan. Like putting sunblock ontop of my sunscreen. One day in frustration I topped up the mist spray every hour all day and literally didn't change colour! I only had spf15 on so not like I was wearing 50+. Total rubbish

Absolutley no! I had been using the rapid elixir for a couple of days building up for using a sunbed this week and the sun came out for a bit on Sunday so I decided to use the rapid mist and sit out in the garden for a bit. When I say a bit I mean less than an hour.
The wind was chilly it was about 16 degrees maximum and the uv index was a 3. I am burnt! My skin is sore to touch, I appear to be bruising in places. It’s now Tuesday and I am seeing no sign of relief. My chest is the worst part, unbelievably red.
Believe me when I say if I hadn’t used this product there is no way I would be burnt of a uv index of 3! I’m just glad I didn’t use it for it’s intended use on a sunbed because my entire body would be burnt, luckily I only sat in a chair so it’s only the front half of my body.
Please please be careful using this especially for people taking it abroad and expecting it to accelerate your tan! It will just ruin your holiday making you burn. So yea I suppose it will accelerate your tan, but not in the way you’d expect!

This is really good. I’m surprised to see such negative reviews.
The product should be used 3-4 days before sun exposure (the blue bottle without the spray top) then use this before sun cream and then the accelerator WITH the spray top on the day whilst out in the sun.
The reviews aren’t fake - I’m going out of my way to say this because it’s genuinely REALLY good

The hype must be paid reviews, this stuff does not work and I used it for moths religiously. I tan easily and have been using it at the beach, tanning beds and nothing. Looks like I was never even in the sun. While I don’t use it in my face and my face is tan…. So sad, I look like I have constant wrong shade of cover up on. Thanks the fox tan.

Fantastic, I’ve always gone brown but this holiday using fox tan I went a lot darker

This stuff is the real deal. I put it on, go lay out in the sun and I get dark. I should have used a sunscreen though because I got too much sun on my face and my chest. No painful sunburn or anything like that but I bet if I stayed out longer, I would have been fried. Glad I bought it though

Sunburnt!! I have never in my life burnt until using fox tan. I applied as the instructions said, 5 days before sun exposure and alongside factor 30 and factor 50. After 1 day, I have awful sunburn. So sore to touch and ruined my holiday. Very unhappy.

I can guarantee this does not contain fake tab- I’m extremely allergic to fake tan and they would have to say if it was in the ingredients- yes it’s a yellow product that you have to let dry before dressing- common sense really! Sometimes you can get residue between your fingers- IT WASHES OFF. The products smell amazing- a s the postage is very fast to the uk

J'ai eu des frais de douane et je n'ai pas souhaité conserver ma commande. J'ai donc refusé le colis qui a été renvoyé à fox tan. Ce marchand a appliqué une retenue de 10€ sur ma commande pour des raisons que je n'arrive toujours pas à comprendre...
Soi disant que chaque produit retourné est mis à la destruction, alors qu'on parle de crème solaire NON ouverte et NON utilisée, dans leur paquet que je n'ai même pas réceptionné...Le service client se contente de donner les mêmes, aucun service commercial...

Waste of money as product did nothing. I have been sun baking for over 30 years and love the sun. I bought this product to help tan my stomach which rarely gets sun exposure. I used the product as directed over several days during summer. My skin tans quite easily but this product did not produce any results and certainly did not accelerate my tan. It also smells horrible and dries into a sticky residue. Definitely do not recommend this product. Expensive product which did nothing for my skin. Very disappointed.
