Still waiting over month later

Fast,efficient and friendly service at reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back.

The eye test and prescription service is excellent but it took 5 weeks to get an appointment and that was then cancelled due to staff illness and the earliest appointment was another 3 weeks! We hadn't been sent reminders either.

The team at Tesco Gatwick were outstanding. Gave good advice and great stock on site. Sadly one of the two pairs of glasses really makes me feel unwell, so I cannot use them. However, the other pair is great. Is there anything that can be done about this?

Update...the team made contact and have refunded the charge and fixed the problem. They really are the best! Thank you Ross and team!

I have used tesco opticians for several years and have found them to be professional, courteious and fairly priced. I bought two new pairs of glasses in June 2016 which are absolutely fine except for very close work or reading for long periods so I requested a pair of reading glasses made from frames I purchased from Tesco in 2014. I took the frames and case to Tesco when ordering but was told to hold on to the case, my frames were put in a paper sleeve to be sent for re-lensing. Three weeks later I was texted to say my glasses were ready for collection. Unfortunately I never thought to take a case with me for the new glasses and was told I couldn't have the paper sleeve as it was not policy. I paid £500.00 + for the glasses in June and the reading lens cost me £90.00. I had to leave the store carrying my new readers in my hand. This policy will make me think twice about using Tesco opticians next time I need new glasses.

I have just received excellent service from the opticians in my local Wigan Tesco. My eye test was extremely thorough and the optician was friendly and helpful. The assistant went out of her way in helping me choose frames that suited me. I was not rushed and felt comfortable. I am not anticipating any problems when I collect my new frames. I have used Tesco for the past few years and not had any problems. I can thoroughly recommend the staff who dealt with me at Wigan.

I have phoned tesco opticians twice about my glassess and was told each time they were very sorry and would look into it. It is now nearly three weeks and still no reply. I can see I shall have no option but to contact trading standards and I certainly won't be recomending them.

I am still waiting for my gift voucher, because of the service I received. Can not say anything good about Tesco at the moment, until i receive my voucher. M Connolly

Website continually gives the error 'opps something has gone wrong'. seems odd this hasn't been fixed in over 3 months. unable to view account details. customer service unable to offer any help.

The care and information received at Tesco's optician in Dunstable was outstanding. The staff there were extremely sensitive and supportive to our needs.
All the staff should be commended for their patience & professionalism from the reception staff to the Opticians.

Tesco Oticians have give me the best service I could ask for.i found them to be very good that finding any problems wrong with your eyes and getting them sorted ASAP. Thank-You

Staff in our local store were excellent that is why I rated as 4 star. . Shame the call centre weren't as helpful and the fact if you ring them you can't purchase your glasses over the phone, the online facility wouldn't accept my order and I tried for over two days , isn't helpfull. They promised a call back,which didn't come, so I had to visit the store again only to find out I couldn't purchase them there.Also you can't purchase in store if they don't stock the style of glasses you want . If my mother wanted any glasses she would have to go elsewhere as she has no online facility . About time you could purchase over the phone and in store .

Very friendly nice staff. Great to talk to. Very happy to recommend to others.

I bought two pairs of glasses the same one for reading and one for distance but dropped one pair and cracked them. The assistant kindly tried to fix them and offered to put lens in another pair of rims for me very helpful. I ended up buying two new pairs and she took the lens out of my broken pair and put them in the good frames. Also picked up a defect in my eyes and referred me on quickly to community ophthalmic centre. Luckily all okay.

my partner and myself went to Tesco fforest fach ,Swansea ,for the first time this morning as opposed to our normal specsavers.The staff were very friendly .competent and efficient also the optician was very knowledgeable too...we were very happy with the prices and the package we got too,which was explained to us in a very professional manner without trying to rush us.

Eye test done, glasses ordered and paid for. 3 weeks wait only to be told, when I visited the store to enquire, that the glasses order had been cancelled the day after the order was made. No communication. Staff were apologetic but didn't seem to have the time to deal with the situation. Order cancelled.

Would recommend Tesco , crief road, perth ,to everyone.

Very satisfied with the service I received

I have been with the opticians in Watford for many years, and always experienced a very personal service. The optician spent time with me, discussed my general health, was interested in my life style, we talked about the options for my eyes as i matured.
But my recent visit two weeks ago was very different - i felt like a lab rat. I was seen was seen by 4 different associates was rushed from one room to another and was only asked the basic questions. I was not at all impressed. I may move my business. It was so impersonal. The team individually are all nice people, but the process is awful. You need to rethink this and understand that we are humans who need attention and care.
