It was a very hot day out when visiting and when we enterd the building there was no aircon it was way too hot to enjoy the experience even the staff were walking round with fans in their hands come on you need aircon in todays era not a very nice experience.
Then had to wait ages for drinks and chips plus when food is deliverd there should be cutlery not everyone wants to eat with dirty hands not good that either. Also we orderd a large chips large i mean there was hardly enough to feed a 5year old you are way too stingy with food portions but not stingy on prices.
Plus to top it off the reception area why has it moved you have to walk way too far to get to it who ever thought of that idea needs more training you should walk in to be greeted by nice smiley reception staff but no you have to walk half a mile to find it again not a great experience place used to be nice whats happened.
Manager in charge get aircon quicker staff in kitchen and bar area move reception area back
bigger food portions then you wont get reviews like this.

I played half a game went outside with my partner because it was really hot with all the people I was waiting for my pizza I wanted to eat before I play and then I couldnt play I 'ran out of time'

Our booking was for 3 adults and 3 children at 11:30. Checking in, there was a little bit of a queue and didn't think anything of it, there was no-one serving at the bar, the young lady was handling both areas. At the time this was the only member of staff we had seen. (taking into account we had been the week before just 2 of us and had a great time) We were told a lane and then told no as that lane and the next one was broken. We went to lane 13 and was greeted with a problem straight away. It only allowed us to enter 1 person, so back off to check in and queue again. We had I believe 2 goes before the lane became jammed, so back off to check in and we were then moved to lane 13. This was ok. Near the end of our first game we ordered two lots of chips. These did not arrive after several walks to check in and also asking the odd member of staff running around. The two lots of chips finally appeared when we had finished our 2nd game. That was around 55 minutes after initially ordering them.
It is clear that they needed more staff to be able to run and keep the place clean. When we walked to sit down to eat our chips the place was full of half eaten food, drinks, rubbish over the tables, the lane tables etc... The whole experience dragged and the youngest child become tired and upset with how long it was all taking.

When a customer comes to you because there is a problem on the lane, please go and resolve it yourself. I shouldn't have to do your job for you.
The pepsi was also 2% syrup and 98% water.
Please remove the prizes from the cabinet that you no longer provide it saves the customer and employee about 15 minutes of back and forth on "oh sorry we dont have this".
Coventry tenpin had a lovely refurbishment its just a shame that the staff are still letting it down.

We enjoyed bowling, error from staff when setting names on board took along time to be sorted due to low staffing and long queues, then bumpers did not work so had to be moved to another lane.
Ordered 2 x chips via the order at lane, took over 1 hour to come, asked for them at 40 minutes and 1 hour, they arrived around 5 minutes later.
Generally found poor maintenance and lack of staff really has let this venue down.

Great time and great experience

Great session, easy to sort on the day.

We booked it for our son & a few of his friends, he said they had a great time & there was lots to do, they tried laser tag, bowling & then the arcade, when I had any questions staff were really helpful.

Couldn't do anything as it was all booked out and the escape room which was available you had to complete a lengthy process online and couldn't just book it in person. This is not a walk in you must book prior

Nice to get two games for £10 per person with a drink.
During the visit the bar staff seemed like the didn't want to be there, there were balls stuck in the gutters from the people before us, causing the bumpers to stick when going up and down. The seating area was really narrow and made it quite uncomfortable when people were moving about in between goes because of the perspex devide.
Pretty much every surface i touched was sticky and the lane we were on (6 I think) had an arcade machine next to it that was so loud we had to shout at each other to be heard.

Awful! They don’t listen to requests re disability even when confirmed twice even the day before … when asked about it they are very confrontational and then dismissive. Completely ruined a birthday party , never again!

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the experience we had during the children's party hosted at your venue on 12/07/2026. Unfortunately, the event did not meet the expectations set by your promotional materials and the assurances given beforehand. I would like to outline the key issues encountered:

Lack of Air Conditioning: The venue was stiflingly hot and lacked proper air conditioning, making it uncomfortable for the children and adults alike. This significantly impacted the enjoyment of the event. Additionally, the balloon animals made by your staff were even popping in the heat, and the children had sweat dripping off them, which was quite uncomfortable and disappointing.

Failure to Follow Up on Dietary and Access Needs: In your email confirmation, it was stated that a team member from the Coventry venue would contact us before the event to discuss dietary requirements and access needs, which are paramount for at least two children in the party with additional needs. Unfortunately, this contact never occurred, which caused unnecessary concerns and a lack of preparation for their specific requirements.

Arrival and Lane Allocation: We arrived promptly at 9:45 AM as confirmed via email. Upon arrival, we clarified that we had booked two separate parties – one for my 13-year-old daughter and her friends, and another for my 10-year-old son and his friends. We agreed on three lanes: one for my son and four friends, one for my daughter and four friends, and a third lane for the smaller siblings (three children) whom I had paid for. We were allocated lanes 11, 12, and 13.

Issues with Lane Allocation, Screen Usage, and Equipment: Lane 11 was initially occupied when we arrived. After about 10 minutes, the occupying family left, and we took over the lane. However, from around 10:05, we faced issues with the screens. The screens displayed six players on lane 11 and four on lane 12, which caused confusion and required staff intervention to correct. Despite multiple attempts to rectify this—explaining the situation to different team members—the problem persisted for over 15 minutes, leading to frustration among the children. Additionally, one of the bowling bumpers did not work, and balls kept getting stuck, further disrupting the game.

Party Bag and Party Recognition: During this time, my son received a party bag, but my daughter was overlooked initially. I had to clarify that her party was also booked and paid for, which was eventually acknowledged.

Food Quality: The pizzas served were of poor quality. The first six were acceptable, but the portion sizes of the chips were inadequate for children of this age. The subsequent eight pizzas were dry, burned on the bottom, and inedible (see attached photos). I had to send these back, leaving the children hungry and uncomfortable, especially given the lack of air conditioning.

Bar Service: The bar service was extremely disappointing. It took approximately 20 minutes to receive drinks ordered via the QR code at the table, during which time the bar staff were just standing around talking and not attending to customers. This added to the overall poor experience and frustration.

Overall, for £13.99 per child, I do not believe the value of this party was justified given the multiple issues faced during the event. In hindsight, I would have preferred to pay for two games of bowling and take the children to a venue like McDonald's, where they could have enjoyed a proper meal in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment.
I hope you take these concerns seriously and address the shortcomings outlined. I would appreciate a response outlining any steps you plan to take to improve the experience for future guests.

Great night great screen but very hot in there you need air conditioning

Coventry tenpin is a gold mine with all the activities under one roof. You could literally spend a good part of your day there.
It's just a shame the staff/place is so unorganised.
Food orders took ages to come out even after revisiting the staff members as it had been 20+ minutes no one could tell us where our order was or if it was coming anytime soon. When it did come out the staff had 0 clue about what it was and where it was supposed to go.
Unsure if Coventry is understaffed and that's the issue because at times, no one was on the bar or the reception but there were no staff in sight anywhere.
Before coming we were informed about how things worked and the food offering but when we arrived it was nothing like was mentioned and the food offering was totally different.

Overall everyone still had a good time there and I would return but only for an activity and we would skip the food and go somewhere else

Playing Tenpin is very good. But the prices without student offers is a bit higher.

Unfortunately stayed under an hour due to the intense heat & sensory overload. I understand all the different experiences you offer. Having the soft play next to all the gaming, slot machines didn’t make it a pleasant experience with a 2yr old & heavily pregnant mum.
