Purchased Rod/Reel combo 10ft surf Rod. Used first time in Cape Hatteras Invitational Tournament. (Fish refused to cooperate). First time surf fishing so I'm certainly not the expert, but I am a seasoned freshwater angler. Combo is smooth and light but strong and sturdy. Thinking about a 12ft combo in near future. Great job TT!!!!!!!

I purchased a Multispecies combo for use off my dock. Not only is it one of the most reliable, effective rigs I've ever used, but when I ran into some difficulties with it due to my own negligence, not the Company's, Tailored Tackle stepped up to help me alleviate the problem. Their efforts to help me went beyond the call of duty. These are people with whom to do business. I highly recommend the company and their products.

I decided to take up surf fishing after a break of over 40 years, so I ordered the surf rod & reel combo and the surf tackle kit, which is very comprehensive. Everything arrived quickly, and looked and worked as expected. The included guides were also useful, especially to set up different rigs. I even caught a fish on my second time out, even though conditions were not great. Time will tell how it all holds up but, so far, I could not be more pleased. It’s also worth downloading the PDF library, which is also very useful - especially for beginners!

Fast reliable service great lures and great quality

It's a nice little kit, and for me it was nice to have the booklet that goes with it to explain everything, since it's been so long since I did any serious fishing. I didn't get to use it much, and we didn't catch any walleye, but that was mostly because the boat rental guy was closed and we were stuck with shore fishing.

Bought this same rod and reel last year and it worked great during my Canadian fishing trip. However, due to my lack of attention, it spilled overboard and the lake now owns it. It was such a good R&R that I replaced it immediately after getting home. It's a real keeper.
