To work for the company is absolutely awful, they treat you with no respect, only want you when they NEED you doesnt matter if you need extra hours or so, then they discard you like rubbish in the wind for no reason and dont even have the balls to get back to me. Also from what I seen as the maintenance man at one of the homes the carers are overwhelmed and residents are not looked after properly I had to help an elderly lady my self and it’s not even in my duties. Stay well clear of this company all together
The home and personal care I received from Surecare Ayrshire was outstanding. The carer arrived on time, was very friendly and respectful and made me feel totally at ease when it came to my personal care. Because of my health issues, my home wasn't exactly clean and tidy when she arrived. When she left, it was spotlessly clean; she even stayed longer to get my laundry done. Overall, I was very happy with the service and will be using Surecare Ayrshire again.
I made 2 complaints in the first three weeks. These were dealt with very quickly. I then had an adult protection order put on me sure care decided to give my file back to social services without my consent. They did not ring me to tell me or anything, I rang them to find out why another care company had rung me. I am really upset and annoyed at this. I would never recommend nor would I ever recommend Oxford private care due to their thieving staff. I was only with them four months I was beginning to feel comfortable and trust in of their carers to have this done to me with both insulting and extremely rude

What a fabulous group of ladies. We as a family are so blessed to have found these great people.
From the manager to the care staff they all play a huge role in my mother’s new lease of life.
She has dementia and after losing her husband last year was very depressed and lonely.
We wanted someone who could help make her feel that life is still good.
They offer a great service, they are very flexible, punctual and always feel like they really enjoy their work.
She loves her visits and trips out to coffee shops and garden centres etc nothing is too much trouble.

Surecare Morecambe's invoicing system is poor with multiple issues. Visit durations are wrong and spuriously high charges for 30 min and 45 minute visits appear at random. This all adds up to monthly bills that are higher than they should be. They always need to be carefully checked as you can't depend on the charges being correct.

Surecare Morecambe have just imposed a 12.5% increase in their current charge rates of £28/hr for the care services that the provide in and around the Morecambe and Lancaster area. This is an increase of £3.50/hr and was communicated at very short notice to be effective almost immediately. Part of this can be justified by the increase in National Insurance and Minimum wage for their caring staff, but a large element is simply profit related. It negates what has been a largely positive experience to date with the caring services that they provide.
