unfortunately package came ripped and torn. piece out of the corner of one of the panels of the craft desk I had ordered. Like the table but unfortunately if I have to send back I have to pay the shipping. I plan on buying a table for sewing machine but not from here. Even if they offered a discount I would be happy. We chose Studio Design to install and fully tile out bathroom expecting them to offer a professional and project managed service.
Sadly nothing could have been further from the truth. Once we paid them, in full, prior to the start of the job, they handed the installation to a sub contractor and had no intentions to have any further contact, during or after the installation. There were no planned checks as to the standard of the workmanship and no check at the end of the job to ensure customer satisfaction.
The job has taken five months to complete. We have had to suffer one problem after another, including having to contact manufacturers ourselves to have new a new toilet seat sent out and Aqualisa to send an engineer (after 1 week) to repair the shower. The tiling was so badly done that a different contractor was needed to completely redo the job, the bath was accidentally smashed day 4, the toilet seat was faulty, the shower/ bath fill stopped working, the shower screen was damaged during the refit, flooring and mastic had to be replaced. All in all it has been a stressful time and the only help from Studio Design has been after numerous emails and phone calls.
The fitter finally finished last week, now I have to secure a loose toilet basin to the wall, secure a loose shower control to wall and replace peeling mastic (lasted a week). Have heard nothing from Studio Design checking satisfaction!!!
