Landlord Insurance premiums with your company increased from a total cost p.a. of £76.88 in 2019 to £242.73 in 2020 with a reduction in cover. This was caused by the Covid eviction ban I'm told. Now that Covid is no longer such a factor and the eviction ban has been rescinded I would hope that premiums can revert back to the previous level. Also in the South East rents have shown a sharp increase of up to 10% rather than an increase of below the rate of inflation as shown in your recent update. This is caused by a shortage of rental properties available as many landlords are reducing their portfolios.

Thank you for your feedback. When Covid hit some providers pulled out of the market altogether, however we revised our policy with insurers. Unfortunately again due to Covid there was an increase in premiums and a changes to cover which was out of our control. We review our providers regularly and are confident we offer good comprehensive cover at a competitive price.
