Had a great experience with Stow Brothers purchasing our first home! During our search, we attended a number of viewings and Stow Brothers definitely stood out on how slick they run them and always found the agent showing us around to be super attentive and ready to answer any questions.

We worked with the E11 office throughout the purchasing process. Communication was great with everyone I interacted with but I especially want to recognise Mia Francis who was our Sales Progressor who was absolutely fantastic...very responsive, super friendly and gave excellent guidance throughout.

Very excited to be in our new home!

I recently did a purchase through them, and it was a lot better than the usual experience you get with estate agents in the UK. Found it really helpful that they had specialist sales progressors (rather than the marketing person taking you through the buying process), since they are quite different skillsets. (And thanks to my sales progressor Poppy for being really helpful throughout!)
When dealing with the Stow Brothers, I didn't experience the usual hard-selling, corner-cutting, blatant lying or 'computer says no' that you get with estate agents. (And when you asked them to pass on a message to the sellers, they would usually actually do so.) This made it a lot easier for me to understand where the other side were coming from throughout the process, and helped things proceed in a collaborative manner.

I would not have been able to go through this purchase without Ms Amy Oliver's help. She was more efficient than my conveyancing solicitor, responding to e-mails straight away, solving issues coming along, speeding the process, guiding me through the process, informing me and helping me to understand a joint building insurance policy. I was dealing with one of the top conveyancing solicitors firm in the Uk and was gobsmacked to see that they knew less than Ms Amy Oliver.

I recently ended my tenancy and wanted to share my positive experience with estate agent Hanna Dewsnap. My partner and I lived in the flat for only one year, but throughout that time Hanna was consistently responsive, supportive, and reliable.

She was always quick to answer any questions or address any issues, and during the times when she was away on leave, I could really feel the difference!

Hanna has a very positive attitude and was always kind, approachable, and available when needed. She acted fairly and professionally in her role between landlord and tenant, showing great precision and care in managing any matters that came up.

Overall, my experience was very good, and I’m really grateful for all her help. I’d happily recommend her to anyone!

Hanna Dewsnap has always responded promptly whenever I've had any queries and also handles maintenance and tenant issues in a efficient caring manner. Hanna always keeps me updated when service or certificates are due. In a nutshell Hanna knows her stuff. I appreciate Hanna's professionalism and friendly work ethic. Overall I highly recommend Stow Brothers - Wanstead.

Awful estate agents. Three things from my experience with Stow Brothers that motivate this review:
1. Many of the places they manage the lettings of are damn near unrecognisable from the photos they post.
2. The property I rented, that they managed, turned out to be a strictly 12 month letting, with no possibility of extending beyond that. They did not inform me of this at the start of the tenancy (despite the landlord asking them to) and even wrote into the contract that the tenancy could be extended, which wasn't true.
3. Worst of all. They hold your deposit hostage. I have been waiting for close to a month now for any news at all about what is happening with the deposit. Their contract states that they need to get back to you within 10 working days - they clearly pay no attention to this.
Highly unprofessional and incompetent company. I encourage you to read some of the other 1-star reviews to see some of the other horror stories.

A month with no word on our deposit. Emails going ignored. Calls not answered. When I returned the keys, people within the agency clearly weren't talking to each other as I was getting calls asking when the keys would be returned... after I had already returned them.
