Appalling service.

Over two hours late on a paid for timed delivery slot. Mistake 1.

When the order did arrive it was one bag short out of ten. Missing bag had been left at first depot (not the final haulier’s fault). Mistake 2.

Tried to push for delivery of missing bag the next morning - it arrived mid afternoon next day. Mistake 3.

Customer service polite but totally intransigent ‘If we paid compensation on every late order we’d never make any money’ says it all. In other words, they gamble with timed deliveries and service failures must happen a lot. They revert to the small print when challenged and that makes the customer service infuriating on top of the service failures themselves.

Crazy operating model if they either do not know or do not check that their partner pallet haulier companies cannot fulfil their advertised proposition in the first place or they cannot hold them to account for something that should be in the contract to be able to uphold the proposition. It should make no difference where you live - the end to end system should be designed to meet the advertised proposition for any given postcode (with the exception of unexpected traffic or weather catastrophes).

Had they even offered me one free bag out of ten (on a £2k) order, and admitted responsibility for getting it wrong I could let it go, but they really misjudged how to recover from three mistakes. And in doing so made a fourth. Would not recommend.

Good choice of products. Ordered a few samples which arrived promptly and a decent quantity to get a good idea of how they would look against our paving slabs. Decided to order a bulk bag and 21 individual bags of the Nordic mixed quartz which were delivered with no problems.

Stones were great but delivery schedule not so. Arranged delivery for Wednesday which I had to chase in afternoon then Stone warehouse called to say it would be Thursday morning then delivery came mid afternoon

The purchase was simple and the delivery very efficient, I couldn't believe how quickly such bulky items came were delivered.

It was a very simple process to order the gravel I needed for my project, the gravel calculator was super useful and was very accurate. I wasn't sure how close, the truck could get the gravel to my house, owing to the carpark being like the surface of the moon, and it being dropped off with a pallet truck, but all went well.

Prices advertised not what you get but quality was good as expected and delivered when they said they would.

Good product, but delivery information was incorrect- a delivery time for one company was sent to me, and when it the item didn't turn up, I rang them only to be told they didn't deliver to my postcode. I was passed onto another team who were able to confirm my item was on the way.
