I subscribed to a promotion of $20 for 3 months. They charged me $6.99 only for the first month and then it became $10.99 per month without any notification or reason. Cancelled. Will not subscribe again.
Canceled after 2 hours of Downloading
I had a bad experience. Wanted to watch some new shows only on Starz, but when trying to do so, all I got was the hour glass and kept kicking me out of the APP. It was easy for me to cancel though I don’t know why people are complaining about that. I just chatted with a customer care associate and she refunded my $2.99 within minutes. It’s not even worth $2.99. Super easy to cancel! But so many other streaming devices that I never have trouble with. Waste of my Saturday night!
Beware of charging Gift Cards
I paid for 6 months. After 2 months the App wouldn’t stream, and I was logged out. A code came up, after entering the code had to call 888-402-7830. The Tech said someone from CA and TX were trying to use our login. He had to do a verification. He wanted me to enter a gift card for $500. He said my CC wouldn’t be charged. I was afraid and told him no, that I would just cancel Starz. So it got canceled, and never again.

If I could give zero I would. Really, make us wait FOREVER for the season 7 part 2 of Outlander now another wait for the last episode????? I will wait for season 8 to come out on Netflix... FU Starz!!!!
It’s very bad
It’s very bad. I can’t recommend, I payed subscription to watch one of their original serie, it won’t let me. They say I’m not connected to the internet while my internet works fine. Very disappointed.
I am a new subscriber
I am a new subscriber, and CANNOT get customer service!! While my bedroom TV easily accessed my login, as well as my phone logging into the app, my main family TV a Roku TV, will not let me login. Trying to get help has been beyond frustrating!! I started with Chat help, did Everything the recommended article advised with no luck.
Called recommended number, after being on hold 30 minutes, it made me leave a number for call back. TWO DAYS LATER, someone apparently finally called when I was not available... Had to call again with the message still saying they will call back. This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Scammed
Paid for the $24 yearly promo and have yet to watch anything because all of the movies and shows suck. I hate that I wasted money on it will be deleting it. I don’t understand how a company that runs movies and shows can provide movies and shows that look like they’ve been produced very poorly. It’s the generic version of Netflix
Rip off
Starz charges for shows that have limited episodes, then take a year or more for another season of limited episodes. NOT WORTH IT
The commercials
The commercials! Tried watching a movie on there. Actually started to time it. 8 minutes of movie, 6 minutes of commercials. You're getting a movie break in between the commercials! Couldn't watch more than halfway the movie, if that. Part of my tv package...but certainly won't be attempting to watch anything on this station again.

This company will not allow you to…
This company will not allow you to cancel unless you pay for the cancellation which is more than the subscription price. It locks the cancel subscription button on its site so that your cancellation does not go through, thus them continuing to charge you. I had to cancel my card in order to discontinue payment being taken. Scam!?
Be very careful
Be very careful. Signed up for their "special price" to try service. Did not watch very much. Months later, I guess when the "special price" expired I was automatically billed for another year. No notice, and no chance to cancel. I cancelled as soon as I saw the bill. They sent me a letter saying I would not be renewed in 2025 but enjoy their service until then. Very shady company that does not let you know when your renewal is coming up.
Streaming quality
Its 2024 and they still stream in 1080p!! While other streaming platforms offer 4k /hdr/and dolby vision, starzplay is lagging behind.
It literally freezes every single time…
It literally freezes every single time I try to load it.. it literally worked for 2 days where I signed up for it.. then guess what the next few days in a row can't even get in it?? Pos I have the app on my home screen so idk but fix it please.
Starzplay has the worst customer…
Starzplay has the worst customer service I have worked with till date. They are absolutely unprofessional, don't provide any follow up and never resolve the issues you have. I have a technical issue, and can't watch anymore, I sent them a message since June and till date the issue is not resolved while they are charging me for the subscription. I am also subscribed to OSN, NETFLIX, PRIME and all of them have an amazing streaming service and support. I just cancelled my subscription and sent them an email, and as usual they didn't care and their response was not addressing the issue.

Horrible stream quality, pixelated and jittery…small library, and terrible app navigation…
Not really a good service like it use to be.
Alot of Black and Homosexual programing if you are into that. Most of their new movies only happen like once every 4 to 6 months. Every time I want to see the end credits, I can't because Starz minimizes it and puts up big ads for crap shows and I'm on cable, not streaming. I do stream other services that are much better.

It is basically a fraud. Took money for ufc pass subscription, but never able to play and keep asking for more payment.

I dont know how UFC gave tgem streaming rights while you cannot watch
