I had a one to one with Paula to improve my front crawl stroke because I was having real problems with shoulder pain. Paula was excellent and I made lots of adjustments and improvements over the course of the lesson and Paula followed up with written guidance on email for me to work on in the pool. It was just what I needed.

If you’re looking for swimming lessons for your child, Star Swimming Academy is absolutely the place to go. The staff are amazing with the kids. So encouraging, lovely and supportive. They put their heart and soul into teaching and clearly love what they do which shows through with the children’s progress.
My son has been going here for a little while. From a kid that wouldn’t even entertain putting his head near the water at first to being like a little fish now, the progress is fantastic.

I have been taking my daughter to star swimming academy since she was 6 months old, she loves it and classes are really fun for the babies! Instructors are really friendly would highly recommend!

My daughter has been with Star Swimming for over a year. She started off really nervous but quickly became confident and can now swim independently. The instructors are absolutely amazing and Billie loves going to her lessons. Would highly recommend star swimming.

Amazing swimming instructors. My son adores his lessons. He can do a multitude of different swimming strokes as well as safety and what to do in an emergency.

Our 8 year old daughter had zero confidence with swimming lessons and we decided to try her with the one to one sessions with Pete which allowed her to become more confident with her usual cheeky self and she felt at ease after 2 lessons, she then went into group sessions and she still managed to shine every week getting the swimmer of the week award and her swimming skills developed so much better and she was starting to swim under water and jump in with loads of confidence. we want to express our sincere thanks to Julie and all of the team involved at Star Swim Academy as you all do such a wonderful job teaching and being friendly with all of the children, we will not hesitate recommending Star Swim Academy to anyone in the future .. Great team of swimming instructors and taught all three of my children to swim (the eldest now 21 and went on to swim competitively for Everton Swimming Association). Would highly recommend to any parents thinking of teaching their children to learn this very valuable life skill.
