Buyer Beware
I signed up for paid script consultations with industry executives and twice they never called as promised. Was fortunate to get my money back. Advise that one should not trust them. Looks like a scam.

Fake “executives”, it’s a money grab
I’ve done a handful of pitch meetings. The last 3 all said they’d request material and then a week later passed on it. Brought this up to the team at Stage 32 and they stood by the “executives” (they LOVE using that word lol).
These “executives” are people who may have been a production assistant, had a small writing role, or have worked at various companies throughout Hollywood. These are NOT the people that have a ticket to your success. They just want your 35$. Please please please, STOP wasting your money. If you have talent and good material, cold call production companies and send query letters to literary managers. I had material taken by the VPs of networks, major production companies and more, and some Stage 32 “exec” that looks like he f**** his cat shit on my work after pretending to be interested during a pitch session lol.
It’s a money grab. That’s all it is. They prey on people by selling a dream. It’s the oldest trick in the book.
Had a written pitch review
Had a written pitch review - the 'producer' review was done by AI (3x AI detectors gave a 100% is was AI). I notified Stage 32 - and once I provided the evidence they went quiet and refused a refund. I also dug into the 'producers' they list (for pitches)... imdb (pro) doesn't recognize almost 50% of them with any producer credits. Of the remainder - a significant # of those are low level executive assistants - who are not producers!
Be careful when you send in written pitches
They are a writers site that review and critique your oral or written pitches for a fee. I paid for and sent a written pitch to one of their reviewers. It got there past the hours of the deadline. When I emailed to see why I got no response here's what I received. "If you missed your slot you can not turn in your pitch late or have a make up session. By missing your slot you forfeit your opportunity to pitch to that executive and there will be no refund or credits". So they now have my money and pitch and I get nothing in return.
A Wanna-Be Company
Stage 32 are not who they claim to be. You can pitch them a 1000 times and still come up empty-handed, no matter how good your scripts are. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!
"CERTIFICATIONS" Complete Embarrassing Nonsense.
"CERTIFICATIONS" from a nonsense website.
If you want real education in the film business, go to a community college in Los Angeles. Go to LACC or LAVC, where you'll be taught by real people who worked in the industry. For the price of a one hour video on Stage32 ($300) you get a sloppy overview of a low level person who may know their own job, but are bad teachers with bad powerpoints. You pay $300 for a summary Zoom lecture of about an hour long and then you take a test to become "certified"... on what exactly? Having never performed that job before, do you think you'll even remember the content next week?
If you try to re-review the material, the *diots at Stage 32 ERASE your test results and pull your lame "certification" down. So, you actually LOSE access to their videos after "passing" certifications, never to be able to view them again. For $300 to access a dull one-way talk of someone's powerpoint, the least they can do is to allow you lifetime access.
Having worked in the field for more than 10 years, thinking I might learn a little in depth from some experts, this was not the case - at all.
For the same money wasted here on a video that they won't allow you to EVER access again after taking the test and "passing," you're better off spending that $350-$500 on a FIFTEEN week in-person class at one of your local colleges or get a REAL class at UCLA Extension (many classes online) where you get real producers giving you their templates and forms from their own productions.
Total SPAM site
Total SPAM site! Their unsubscribe features do not work and they will continue to spam you even if you delete your account. Do not sign up to them.
From what I've read on trust pilot I wouldn't trust any of their purchase options for courses and meeting people.
It's a scam.
It's a scam.
They charged me $32 but gave nothing in return, I also unsubscribed millions of times but it doesn't seem to work.
Give it all u have in acting.
3weeks of training very well. 09/1981 had some training I love to act
Great idea but terrible user interface
Great idea but terrible user interface. Feels very spammy. I just don’t enjoy the experience on this app.
TERRIBLE! THEY STOLE MY MONEY!
Never go to that website, you go to free service to a payment member service without realize cause they make you confused. So this people took me 39$x5 so 195$ per a service a never applied, and the said I did, even in my historical purchases said 0$ products but they took my money. And when I complained they said not refund. TERRIBLE! THEY STOLE MY MONEY!
Spammers
Spammers. I tried to unsubscribe at least 10 times. They didn't allow you to do this.
Please never subscribe with them. They promise you courses for free but they are not free, and then they will spam your email, without allowing you to unsubscribe. Terrible experience. They are not serious at all.
"Executives" grossly unqualified and…
"Executives" grossly unqualified and misrepresented. Organization is very unreliable, disorganized and unprofessional. Don't waste your money.
Spammers
Spammers. I signed up for their free account, and the emails were never-ending. I unsubscribed from every email list, and still got emails. I deleted my account and still got emails. I complained to their helpdesk, and was told that apparently I HADN'T unsubscribed before deleting my account. But don't worry, we've removed your details.
That was about fourteen hours ago. I've had two emails from Stage32 since then.
Nicely wrapped gift of overpromise and underdelivery
To cancel Writer's room monthly prescription wasn't as difficult as lot of other users state, but the fact of their overblown and overstated industry connections is 100% accurate...I have gone through a large number of
"execs" through their PITCH SESSIONS to the tune of hundreds of dollars and their bare bones FEEDBACK was unsatisfactory. I am also certain that when my work was requested it was only glanced at and the comments proved it so...I also had execs faint the interest in my work only to put my in position where they can upsale their development and legal services for thousands of dollars of upfront fee...They also have an OPEN WRITING ASSIGNMENT "opportunity" through which you submit the script through them but before they do they say their readers will have to read it. The problem is that process took months and even if they did I'm sure the possible opportunities with those companies were gone. Time is money for them and you gotta move fast....I got more stories but this will do. All in all UNSATISFACTORY
An expensive mistake
It was impossible to locate subscription and cancel a subscription and there are no records to tell you that money is being withdrawn from your account. UNBELIEVABLE!!! The first customer service person was not helpful - twice! Beware of those free for one month offers to hook you in. There is no notification that money is being taken out of your account. I've never come across an outfit like this before and to think they have endorsements from big companies :(
I joined S32 for about 18 months
I joined S32 for about 18 months, and did one coverage for "The First Ten Pages". The coverage came in on time and I felt it was valuable for what I paid. If you use it right you can find some great aids and insights. But I wasn't using it like I had anticipated, and in August of '23 I tried to cancel, but could not figure out how to do so. My emails requesting help were ignored. I tried again, and could not figure out how to do so. I again asked for help. No response. Finally, in mid-October of '23, I looked for the VERY small print and followed a bouncing ball to, I assume, final conclusion. The tiny print "Delete account" (but not subscription) was followed for about 6 hoops until I realized I had to delete the SUBSCRIPTION. There were another several hoops to jump including retrieving codes from your email. These guys are unbelievably deceptive. The advice to cancel is nowhere near complete even if you DO receive a response, which I never did. Unless you KNOW you're going to use it and will never cancel, do NOT bother.
Dodgy group of people, and will not stop spamming
Same issue as others. When you unsubscribe, they'll keep sending you emails.
Also, super dodgy group. They have no real involvement in the industry but leach off new people who want to be involved and charge them for services which they know nothing about. Keep clear.
Avoid
I tried the site for a few weeks, wasnt for me and then unsubscribed. Despite repeatedly doing so, and writing to support to ask for my information to be removed from their database I continue to get unsolicited emails from them. Very poor. Avoid.
Hey stage32 quit spamming me and then…
Hey stage32 quit spamming me and then requiring an email to unsubscribe that includes an expired link so I can’t unsubscribe. It just makes me have to block you. Loads of unwanted emails and no real industry connections
