Stafford upvc Windows Omdömen 

Had relatively big project on front of my property July 25 .
Overall out come in terms of look & energy efficiency - very much improved .
Have been tweaks which have always been addressed in courteous , respectful and wanting to offer good outcome alongside timely manner, so couldn't ask much more. 👌🏼
I do lots of DIY so probably notice more than average 🤔whom may have just simply be overwhelmed with improved cosmetic appeal. ! 🤩
I would have no issues in terms of recommendation. Long term staff in family business is good concoction if ethos right! Huge thank you to the members of team whom always endeavour to resolve or meet mutual resolve . Nice job!!

I’ve recently just completed a project with this business, the Service communication and customer service was fantastic. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you guys for the great customer service.

From start to finish everyone from the company were very polite and helpful and the workmen cleaned everything and took all the rubbish away once the job was complete. Very impressed.

Had a few upvc windows over the years. It is hard to describe why this company's windows stand out, but they certainly do when you see them. great fitters, excellent communications, very professional company.

Great job from the service team replacing 4 glazed units along with gear boxes and hinges. The guys were extremely efficient and tidy (very respectful of our property). A thoroughly professional job all round.

I had a sales rep out to provide a quote for a replacement conservatory. It was a lengthy pointless waste of time as 3 weeks on I am still waiting on a quote!

Promises, Promises, Promises that's all you get.

Had a Composite front door and side window fitted, which was absolutely top job.
After a few months through one summer the colour of the door was faded and the warranty covered that of which Stafford UPVC agreed.
So the long winded after sales to get it sorted was like treading in treacle. Passed from one department to another, Eventually some months later, apparently the weather has to be at a certain temperature and humidity and dust free,,,, and so it went on , even visiting the show room to complain,
The fitters removed the door and replaced it in a day ....brilliant I thought. Nooooo it was the wrong colour, so back on the phone again, being fobbed off with we will send someone to have a look, sure enough eventually some guy arrived and said yes it is.
I think they thought I was thick!
So fitters came back two weeks later and removed the door to the workshop..... no mention of the temperature .humidity and dust {Strange, perhaps another way of stalling}
Well it took a day as expected and was refitted the right colour but the fitter informed me that it needs a coat of sealer which they did not have time to do at the workshop, but would come back and do it on site.
On inspection of the refitted door it had been damaged on the chrome fittings, I phoned yet again and the answer was its been discontinued, what a bunch they are. and we are still waiting some 12 mths on since the last phone call and nothing.
Stear clear of this company the aftersales is rubbish,

Kez and Mich and the front office help desk all seemed to be trained at this customer non service.
The MD must know whats going on

Not a problem from ordering through to fitting, leaving our home spotless. Windows and doors are quality products, I would definitely recommend swcl

this company needs to be avoided at all costs-we had windows from them with a square lead design and all the windows are different and wrong-we ordered downstairs toilet windows and they made them in clear glass-they made a side opening window with drain holes in the wrong place turning it into a top hung opening window-all this from a so called expericenced window company-they make so many mistakes and blame the customer-look at the other bad reviews-we had some idiot called ian-so bad he's only allowed to work part time-spending over six months prebaracating and we spent five minutes on his computer in his office and we proved if they used the design package properly the lead design was perfectly spaced and worked-this idiot ian really thought that the computer would bail him out and support his theory and make the lead design bigger thus giving us different spacings-mmm...he was wrong-THERE ARE BETTER OUT THERE USE THEM NOT THESE COMPLETE CLOWNS!!

Over a period of 5 years Stafford upvc have given us excellent service both during installation and after sales service. They may be relied upon to go the extra mile and are highly recommended. This was a particular issue when I needed urgent documentation , and it was provided quickly and efficiently. Great team.

We have recently had replacement windows fitted and we can honestly say that we couldn't tell anyone had been in the house. In fact, the finish around the frames was so much better than before! No loud music playing and everywhere was left clean and tidy. Extremely pleased with the quality of work and the fitters were courteous and polite. We also had a problem with a door lock (Not one of theirs!) and had a very prompt response from them. Thanks from a very satisfied customer.

We have used these guys over the years to replace guttering and have found their services top notch.
They fitted new guttering on our property last year as it was old and was leaking in places.
Fitters did a great job.
We have had some issues with parts of it overflowing over the front door and rang and spoke with Guy who asked for pictures to be emailed over and someone would be in touch.
A few weeks later after chasing an appointment was made for today for around 1100 hrs, they turn up at 1415. We reviewed the CCTV and could see 2 workers having a look around but no investigation was conducted even though we had sent picture ect…
I rang the office for an update to be put through to Tim the maintenance manager. Tim was clearly having a terrible day, The manor in which Tim spoke to me was nothing less than disrespectful, he was suggesting I was thick, he suggested I was lying, he was not accommodating at all. Horrendous experience. He had pictures of the two areas that were overflowing as per the email and brief description of the issue. I was told I would now be at the back of the line to be seen again.
Not happy with this I called their office back and asked to speak to Guy the MD, I had spoke with Guy previously and found him to be helpful.
Guy wasn’t interested in the issue I was having in the slightest.
Tim obviously got in there quickly…

2 lessons here…….
1, Don’t pay cash to this company, customer service doesn’t apply when doing so……
2, Don’t deal with Tim the maintenance manager, he’s rude, obnoxious and will make you feel thick.
AVOID at all costs!!!

If this review was purely based on the product fitted and the work carried out then it would be 4.5 to 5 stars. However, I've reduced this given the struggles we had regarding the support and service from the company.

We had new windows, conservatory roof and door fitted over the summer. This was due to leaks during bad weather and poor insulation in the conservatory, in addition to the aesthetic of ageing glazing.

So far, and following quite a fair amount of rain, we have to say we're happy with the product. The fitting appears to have been carried out to a high standard and we like the work that has been done.

I wish the same could be said of the service we received from Stafford uPVC. Without going into specifics, we had a number of issues resulting in expectations not being met, an error on the information provided on necessary energy calculations and a workman damaging our kitchen sink and drainer when installing the window. Additionally there were also pressures of no fault to Stafford uPVC, due to Covid restrictions, which were eventually resolved.

My biggest grievance remains the fact that one of the management team (Steve) visited our house to address the energy calculations and blatantly lied about how he was handling the situation. This was both unnecessary and unhelpful as it became clear he had lied. Despite claims that he was desperate to apologise about this he has not done so, even though he has had ample opportunity to do so. Embarrassment I guess.

That matter aside, thankfully most of these problems were handled swiftly and effectively effectively by Tim Adams, following my conversations with him and the owner, Guy. They managed to turn what was a challenging experience to one where we're happy about the work that has been carried out.

Sadly we've received no reply regarding the damaged sink, so I guess we will sort this ourselves.

Tim Adams was incredibly helpful in with the selection of the right kind of windows/french doors for the respective parts of our property.

Windows are excellent (mostly the UPVC Liniar Sculpt Refine Casement) as they are flush on the outside and constructed with bolts (not melted/glued in the corners) making them look more like wood construction.

Great quality and much better value that other quotes I had.
