They Just Don’t Care!!!
When we arrived at 10:45pm to pick up our car we were told it was parked in row 6, the lot is pitch dark, no lighting whatsoever and no signs to distinguish lanes.
We finally found our car which was totally blocked in by 2 cars parked so close on either side I couldn’t even get to the door let alone open it.
I called the guy in the office who didn’t seem to care either way. He finally sent a guy out 15 minutes later to move one car to allow us access. We arrived at the facility at 10:45pm and finally got out of there at 11:15.
Now that the’ve moved they don’t wash the cars anymore…I have been using SP for the last 5 years NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

SP+ parking in 649 scottsdsle drive, guelph is a scam. Forced me to pay for lost ticket which is 3 times the price.

Horrible company which aims to nickel and dine as much out of their victims as they can.
My company deemed it necessary to sign a contract with them. My usual parking spot was in a closed off section. The company does not allow any public parking at my location due to potential safety issues, meaning there were no permits allowed to park at that site. The only people who parked there were employees who were aware of the risks and worked at the nearby building, since any other parking was around a half mile away.
ScamPlus decided it was the perfect place to ticket all of us despite it not being an open lot, because it was on "company property". Even 3rd party vendors who fill snack machines are ticketed daily for not having parking pass.
Not to mention, as soon as the company signed them in to take over the parking services, they immediately tripled the cost of parking passes and have raised the price year. We are currently 4.5x the original costs.
Finally, they are supposed to take care of the lots for the company, yet every lot I see are filled with large cracks and potholes. They seem to think their only job is to ticket people and not actual maintenance.
Never use the lots of this company. If would t if I want forced to because of work.

I haven't ever used any of the SP+ parking facilities, but they sent me a notice of past due+penalty based on the fact that the first 3 characters of the license plate matched my car. Never mind that the car that was in their garage is a make and model that I don't own. And the only avenue the company leaves to contest their errant notices is via USPS - not email, not voice message, not text. I will make a point of avoiding any facilities or services these people offer.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service and faced excessive fees! My apartment complex uses this parking company, and they have been the worst. My brand new car now has numerous scratches, dents, and gashes all over it from navigating the parking lifts. At one point, they were using one garage to park vehicles from two different buildings, which created a chaotic situation. I can't emphasize enough how horrible this experience has been. Landlords, beware: you will lose tenants quickly if you continue using this company!
Invalid Parking Violation - Very scary!!
Very scary! On 4/11 my son drove my wife to drop her off at the Aventura Brightline station as she was heading up to West Palm Beach to visit her family. She returned home on 4/13 and my son went back to Aventura Brightline to pick her up. Today (5/6) in the mail I receive a parking violation from SP+ for $105.50 (unpaid parking). There is no phone # to call SP+ and you only have an option to send them a dispute message on-line, where I then receive a confirmation in email stating my dispute is being investigated and I will receive word after a decision is reached. I am not sure if I am the only one this has happened to.

Actually no stars! They just tried to steal my parking contract from Spot Hero by pretending they were contacting me on their behalf. Total scam!
This is a predatory company
This is a predatory company. Do not use their services unless you have no other option. I reserved an SP+ parking lot for a 2 1/2 hours, paying $5.50 (the first two hours were free and the extra 30 minutes was $5.50). I guess I pulled out of their lot 2 minutes past the 2 1/2 limit. If the company had decided to charge me another $5.50 that would have been embittering but fair. Instead, I get a letter in mail a week later accusing me of not paying $5.50 along with an addition $50 fine. I have the receipt that I paid for the initial 30 extra minutes so I have to assume the unpaid $5.50 was for the extra 2 minutes. I was never notified by the company that this extra $5.50 was owed and so had no means of paying it without the fine. This is predatory behavior. Worse, after getting the notice in the mail and directed to their website where I can either pay or dispute the fine, it turns out my fine was given a "no dispute possible" status. Finally, keep in mind that SP+ is owned by Metropolis, the AI-driven parking behemoth that has been buying up parking companies around the US. Avoid SP+ AND Metropolis as best you can. It's just not worth the risk.
Disappointed with SP+ at the K2 Garage
Disappointed with SP+ at the K2 Garage (365 N Halsted). In March 2025, they began renovations but didn’t inform monthly parkers that there wouldn’t be enough spaces for everyone. After struggling to find parking, I was told to “try EV spots or the turnaround area,” which is not a sustainable or secure solution.
There was no proper assessment before construction and no meaningful workaround offered—no access to nearby SP+ garages or unused reserved spots. Even worse, they are still selling new monthly parking despite the shortage. I now avoid moving my car to avoid losing my space. It’s inconvenient and has impacted both work and personal obligations. I do not recommend this garage until they resolve the issue.

If you want to experience the most disorganized chaotic garage in NYC where the manager Christopher will treat you with complete disrespect, this is the place for you. Otherwise, go anywhere else in Manhattan for a better parking experience.
Horrible customer service!!!!!
I would like to give zero stars but it is not available. To sum up my disappointment with the service, all fall on the customer service. We waited 30 mins for the transportation from the rental car return terminal. I called the phone number and was met with the most rude, belligerent, arrogant, unprofessional rep. After asking him about the time for the bus to arrive I was told 10 to 30 mins. I advised him we had already been waiting 30 mins. In a disrespectful tone that they are low staff and I would just have to wait. I asked him his name and he would not provide it nor a id number. I advised him that I would be reporting his behavior and he states he didn't care. I also said to him that he was aware of his behavior and that is.the reason he would not provide his name. He replied I don't have a name. After speaking with another person I was advised his name is Ammas. (Sp) Dallas Texas location. I would say to this company due better!

I was scammed out of $15 when there was no where to park my EV when they told me there was at the entrance. I found the exit and pushed the button and spoke to Richard Durand. He told me there were no refunds. When I pushed further he told me to email rdurand@spplus and that they would review it. That was over a month ago and no one has responded.
Wish there was a zero star review available...
The power was out one morning and you can't see anything at the train station. I was going to use the app but it wouldn't respond. The kiosk were down because of the power outage. I tried the app a couple more times on the train and no luck. Once I got to work, I unfortunately forgot. When I got back, my car had three tickets on it for the three days it was there. When I saw the tickets, I knew what had happened and went on the app and paid for three days right away. I guess my thoughts were I needed to pay and hopefully these tickets could be reversed.
Well, that hasn't happened. Not only are the tickets $30 each for a normal 2.00 per day parking, no one at SP Plus can be reached. Not by phone, not by email, not by and form on their website. I've contacted them three times in the last 30 days with zero response. ZERO. No email, no phone number works. I'm not even sure how legal it is pop someone with this kind of fine when there is no posted schedule on the fine structure or what happens if you don't pay or forget to pay. So, now 30 days later, zero response and the three tickets for 6.00 worth of parking issues has cost me 180.00. I've tried calling the local police for help and they couldn't help. I called the local township office and no help. At this point, as a matter of principle, I think it is time to bring in an attorney to help me and to help any others that may be affected by this horrific company. If you don't have a customer service contact that will return emails or phone calls, that's a problem. Yes, in the end, it's my fault, I forgot, but I have done everything possible to rectify the situation and zero response. I paid the fine today, all 180.00, instead of 6.00, but I can't sit idle and let this be the end of it. If you have been wronged by this God awful company, I would encourage you to share on this site and any others. Maybe even the state should get involved. You really can't treat people this way for an honest mistake. I don't mind spending the money to fight this. In the end, It may be costly for me but I will do everything possible to make it far costlier for the horrific company. Again, please write your reviews, talk to your local officials about this company. It's time they are thrown out of every place they work for and every parking lot they oversee. No town municipality wants this type of company with this type of customer service on their hands regardless of the revenue stream it most likely generates for the town.
Stolen Vehicle and SP+ doesn't care
I parked at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport Smart Garage owned and operated by SP+. Have always parked there but not any longer. This company and their parking lots are a joke.
I returned from a trip on 7/23/24 only to find my Jeep had been stolen. Funny thing is, there was a lightning strike the week before and their license plate readers were down, meaning it was not tracking any cars in and out of the garage. Awesome job taking care of your lots and customers safety! Additionally, the lots are terribly lit at night, and there are no cameras in the garage monitoring the cars or pedestrians. Another oversight on their end for a lot that costs $28 per day. I have reached out numerous times to company representatives with no help and responses of "not our problem." If I could send a flaming bag of crap to every one of the executives I would, because that is what this company is.
Do not use SP parking lots
Do not use SP parking lots. I paid for my time and came out to a ticket. I disputed using their process and received an email saying they would follow up if I needed to do anything else. I have recently been contacted by a collections agency to pay a fine. They never told me I needed to do anything and refuse to respond to discuss. They know they’re shady, there is no contact info anywhere for them.

Their website just shows a flashing circle when I submit my dispute letter (twice!) HOW can I get someone to respond to our "Violation"? FOLLOW-UP: 2 emails from them that I MUST pay $50.

I should have read the reviews before parking in one of their lots. If you chose to use an SP+ parking lot (owned by Metropolis) be sure a to take a picture of the time & date you parked as well as screenshots of all transaction screens, especially the confirmation page. I parked in one of their lots and paid, received the confirmation page stating that a receipt would be emailed to me. When i got back to my car later I had a ticket. I filed a dispute for the ticket since it was a malfunction of their app/website. After 30 days of not hearing back from them I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, then miraculously received an email the next day. Rebekah Yeagley was extremely rude and unhelpful. I told I would happily pay the parking rate since the charge was not reflected in my account, but they were not willing to do that. I let her know that losing a customer forever over $20 is terrible customer service. I guess that is just the kind of shady business they run. Based on all the reviews, it seems to be the company ethos to treat people poorly to make a few extra dollars.
