Terrible customer service.
First of all, I ordered 3 tickets and never received an email confirmation. After chasing up, the replied telling me the event was cancelled due to covid. The tickets were then automatically moved to 29th May 2021 but since I am now pregnant I can no longer attend this year. The only two options I have is attend another event this year (although there’s is no other event is QLD) or some how find someone to take my tickets. I have asked to extend through until next year (after I’ve had the baby) but they won’t allow it.

Just take yours money and refund 6 months this is some joke . If they take money they need back fast if they cancel events .

I am so tired of the garbage from Spartan.

I have been a loyal racer since 2016 and although the experience isn’t always awesome, I would actually enjoy the misery...yeah I know its weird....but after spending thousands in 2018, 2019 and 2020 and not receiving any refund after the shutdown and then recently...

In November 2020, I registered for two races (me and my son) for Austin, TX on May 16. I became very ill on Tuesday, May 9th and tested positive for Covid on May 11th. I tried to find out how to defer the race but I was unable to login to many of my accounts to include my email due to my email getting hacked. I sent an email on Wednesday to Spartan and they said I couldn’t defer so close to the race so I’d have to choose another race. Not only is there not a race that works for my work schedule, but i wasn't physically able to change anything online, which is why i emailed for help on Wednesday...After i received a response it was too late to defer (there is a 72 hour no deferment before a race...why? emergencies happen) and there are no other races that work for me. So, I requested a refund. It’s against policy to waive fees to register for another race, even if a racer has covid or some other ailment or disease, and if another race doesn’t work, a racer is unable to receive a refund even if they have Covid. I chose to be responsible and not attend the race. Why does Spartan not offer a refund under certain circumstances? And why do they no offer insurance like an airline or travel agency? This only makes sense.

At the same time I registered for the Austin Race, I registered for the NATS stadium race for April 10th, 2021, it was postponed by Spartan and moved to September but I cant make that date. And since that doesn’t work, I have to pay a fee to defer to another race or just eat it, even though its not my decision to choose that date. The Spartan brand only cares about their bottom line, not how their racers are affected and thats truly a shame. I pray these greedy cucks go bankrupt!

I will NEVER race with Spartan again.

Bought 5 tickets for a race. THEY canceled the race and the following year offered zero races in my state. Will not give me a refund. I will never buy a ticket from them again and you shouldn't either! They can cancel your race at ANY time and not give you back your money!!!

I was once optimistic about spartan. I thought that would change the world. They lied to me. Since I started this sport in 2016 I was hooked addicted I wanted more. But ever since then all they have done is treat their consumers like cash cows. They don't care about their consumers nor their athletes. Every year they raised the prices of their races calling it "maximizing profits" that's nothing but greed and BS. This company is a complete scam. They don't give refunds at all because of their god-awful, hatred, terrible, anti-consumerism no-refund policy. Anti-consumerism!! Their races have gotten shallow, repetitive, bland, and boring. The medals are absolute garbage and are rip-offs from last year. They are the sport version of the video game companies Electronic Art, Activision, and Ubisoft. And those companies treat their consumers like cash cows. All they care about is money. Money and nothing else. They don't care about who are, where you came from, what your backstory is, nothing. All they care about is money and money only. The worst happened when the pandemic hit and millions of people had their season and races canceled including me. I even bought two pairs of running shorts that have never arrived to me because all they care about is money. Joe De Sena and spartan have officially gone full blown stupid. More retarted than Peter Griffin in Family Guy and Mel Gibson when he appeared on South Park. They are as weak and as woke as hollywood. If they don't see the negative reviews and how much criticism they are getting they are putting their head in the sand and staying in their own safety bubble. This is spartan they are suppose to be tough but they are nothing but pussies. Here's another reason why they are a bad company the spartan SGX certificate is an absolute joke. I was once an SGX coach is was a complete waist of time and worthless. I applied for a personal trainer job in Reno, Nevada they said your credentials are impressive but we need an ACE or NASM certificate. The SGX program is not a legitimate certificate. If spartan and Joe can't take all of this criticism then they should declare bankruptcy and get off this planet. There are other OCR companies that are better and care about their consumers rather than this greedy and arrogant company. Until they start to realize "wow, we really have let greed get to our head" don't sign-up for another race. All they will do is take your money and punch you in the face.

In a time where we all need some understanding and compassion, the company of Spartan Race has NONE!

While I purchased the Trifecta in 2019 to be completed in 2020, the unfortunate event of a worldwide PANDEMIC occurred!! As the year passes by, our races are constantly being rebooked time and time again without the option of getting a refund!

Customer service is unhelpful. When wanting to move your race date or transfer to another person because you are now unable to keep scheduling a new date after new date after new date,.. they want to charge you an ADDITIONALLY $35!!! ..... Why aren't you giving us $35 every time you move our race dates!!!!! MAKES NO SENSE!!!!!

Thanks for STEALING $300

6 months later after repeated cancellations .. no refund! .. no customer service , no nothing avoid.

Awful company. Registered 5 people for the Notre Dame race and they just cancelled with no refunds.
Sticking it to the consumer. I hope this puts them out of business for their awful customer service.

Spartan race in Massachusetts just got canceled and they are screwing me out of $200. We are all going through this COVID together and don't need to just give $200 away. Give us our money back!

Vandvittig ringe kundeservice og meget lang ventetid på svar og udmeldinger. Ingen penge retur, derimod voucher til et andet løb i Europa eller Danmark.. Det er simpelthen for ringe.. vi har krav på at få vores penge retur.. (Nordic Race kunne godt betale penge retur...???)

Said would give a refund after they cancelled our race then said had to wait minimum of six months for the money went to credit card company and got the money back. So they said we could have the refund and challenged the claim! We will never use spartan again.

Compre dos entradas en el 2020 una de adulto y otra de kids para Andorra, la de adulto la aplazaron por el covid y solo me daban opción de hacerla en el 2020 y la de kids la aplazaron para el 2021 es decir compre dos entradas para ir con mi hija y hacerla el mismo día y no me dieron la posibilidad de poder cambiar la de adulto junto a la de kids, ni devolvían el dinero, es decir finalmente no pudimos realizarlas ya que la idea principal era hacerla conjuntamente por gastos de viaje y desplazamientos. Son unos estafadores y ladrones.

Spartan weigert sich den gezahlten Preis zurück zu erstatten, obwohl das Rennen nicht stattgefunden hat. Zu behaupten dass eine Erstattung nicht vorgesehen ist halte ich für Betrug! Ich kann nur jeden davor warnen sich für ein derartiges Rennen anzumelden! Der Kundenservice ist unter aller Kanone. Am besten schaltet man einen Anwalt ein.

Wish I could give less than one star. My race in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic. I was told I could only reschedule for another race in 2020 (even though I had a feeling they would all be cancelled). When I asked if I could get a refund they said no. Even though my whole Spartan team was leaving Europe and I was moving to another country so didn't want to commit to a new race... So I asked if I could postpone until 2021 they said yes but I would have to cancel, then would only get a 70% refund on booking the next race. So after losing money, my 2021 race was cancelled too and again they won't provide a refund!! They are gonna lose all their racers. Terrible customer service. No sense of understanding or consideration.

Race is already incredibly too expensive for something that is literally no different than any of the other races. Then, if something comes up and you can't attend the race and try to transfer the ticket, you have to pay a $35 FEE. WTH is that for???? $35???

Oh, and then when you transfer the ticket, that person you transfer it to still has to pay the insurance instead of being able to just transfer that over.

Literally just a company that is stealing your money. How they made a big name for themselves, I don't know. Garbage company. Will never give them anymore of my money.

Je m'étais inscrit pour deux courses en 2020 et à cause des annulations du au Covid ils refusent toutes demandes de remboursement.
Plus jamais je leur donnerai le moindre centime!

Took my sisters money and then cancelled due to Covid (which is fair enough) but would only offer a credit to an event in another state! Won't answer her emails requesting a refund and deleted her from their Facebook page when she raised it with them there!

A fuir. Première inscription à un évènement Spartan, au stade de France en 2020! Annulation du fait de la crise COVID. Au final on vous propose 70% de réduction pour vous inscrire à un autre évènement futur (complètement anecdotique et impossible en pleine crise COVID) et -30% sur 1 autre course (non cumulatif). Ils ne vous remboursent pas et refusent toute demande par mail. Même le marathon de Paris Harmonie Mutuel 2020 à remboursé ses participants. Pratiques scandaleuses de la part de Spartan, à fuir...

De bonnes courses mais une politique tarifaire de marchand de tapis (remboursement impossible, comme les reports gratuits sur l'année suivante), bien à l'opposé de l'esprit d'entraide prôné...
