There is a reason that has the lowest stars possible. They will lock you out of your account saying you need identity verification but have no department that can resolve it. Been waiting for 3 weeks now with no resolution. TERRIBLE app and HORRENDOUS customer service team!!!!!!

The driver was running late and my order had perishable items, so he just listed it as "undeliverable" and drove around all day while my food rotted in his car. 10 hours later he returned my order to Walmart claiming it was "undeliverable." Walmart told me the "system" wouldn't allow them to redo my order. I would have to cancel it and reorder it which meant I would be out of pocket TWICE until Walmart reimbursed me for undelivered order and that can take up to 10 business days. I called Spark and they were horrible. Apparently the customer service reps work from home and she spent more time dealing with a screaming toddler than with me. Utterly disgusting. So I am out $430 bucks thanks to an incompetent Spark driver, Walmart AI that can't be overwritten by employees and no groceries until Walmart reimburses me for WTF??? I DID NOTHING WRONG HERE. FIRE BARRIE IN MAKING DELIEVERIES OUT FLIPPEN, ARKANSAS.

If I could give a zero or lower I would. I had a Walmart order delivered by Sparks this morning and everything was there including a prescription I ordered. The driver, Lisbeth C. Who could not even say hello in English ( she only spoke Spanish) tried to take back my prescription. She typed on her phone in a translation app that Walmart wanted the script back because the delivery was late. I said no, are you trying to scam me. If course she didn't understand. I called the pharmacy and they said there is no reason to return the prescription. Had me call customer service and they gave me Sparks number. I called Sparks and they spoke to the driver in Spanish. I told customer Service she needs to translate to me me so I know what the driver is telling her. The representative hung up on me. The driver tried to leave but I took a picture of her and her license plate before she left. Called customer service back and if course no supervisor was in at the moment to speak to. Waiting for a call back which I'm sure will never come. Walmart put a note on my file to not use a Sparks driver to deliver to me.

I recently applied to become a driver for the Spark Driver platform. I completed the enrollment process and submitted the requested documents, but immediately afterward I received a message stating that Spark was unable to approve my enrollment because I did not meet the eligibility requirements.

I contacted Spark Driver Support to find out what happened. The representative told me the issue was related to the biometric verification and indicated that something as simple as poor lighting may have caused the problem.

I asked if I could simply redo the biometric verification under better lighting. I was told no—my application had already been withdrawn and I would not be given another opportunity.

That is extremely disappointing. My concern isn't that Spark uses biometric verification; I understand the need to verify a driver's identity. My concern is that an applicant can apparently fail an automated biometric check because of something such as lighting and then be permanently denied the opportunity to correct it.

My driving record is impeccable, and I was prepared to complete whatever legitimate screening and background requirements were necessary. I wasn't rejected because of my driving record. According to the support representative, I didn't even get past the biometric verification.

People should be given an opportunity to retake a photo or redo a biometric verification when image quality or lighting is the problem. Automatically withdrawing someone's application without giving them a chance to correct something so minor seems unnecessarily unfair.

Spark Driver should reconsider this policy and provide applicants with a reasonable way to correct a failed biometric verification.

I have explicit directions on how to find my apartment. I follow the driver on the ap and if they are having issues I send them texts. Today, for the 2nd time, they left and canceled my order. I had much needed prescriptions in that order. I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with Walmart trying to get this fixed. Pharmacy had to dump out my Rx's since they had been removed from the store. They need to refill them. I may not be able to get them tonight. I removed the tip just in case they try again. The last time this happened my delivery arrived at 10 pm. I was in bed. My phone alerted me so I was able to bring my food on. I am not impressed with the majority of their drivers. Most don't speak English so that doesn't help.

I’m a current spark driver part time and they’re absolutely trash just like all the other delivery apps. Anything you do as a driver isn’t good enough and if the customer or inside store worker reports you you’re screwed and can’t do anything to defend yourself. Customer support is generally some habibi over in foreign land that can barely speak English and can’t help at all. They can’t decide on a steady base rate cause they have Ai bots doing most of the framework

I would give 0 stars if i could. Absolutely terrible experience with Spark Driver. I applied and was put on hold for two weeks, only to be denied without being given any explanation. I was told I could reapply in six months, but my application has now been locked for almost an entire year.

I’ve contacted support numerous times and keep receiving the same generic, automated denial email with no actual explanation or help. I even called customer support directly, and the representative apologized, acknowledged the issue, and told me they would unlock my application. They never did. Instead, I received the exact same automated denial response again.

The support is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. There is no transparency, no meaningful explanation, and apparently no follow-through even when someone actually acknowledges the problem.

I would not recommend wasting your time applying. If you run into an issue, don't expect support to actually resolve it.

This past week my tips for being a spark driver have not matched what they have put into my bank account I called them for 3 days straight now I told them that I have proof screenshot showing what my earnings are making and what they're actually sending to my bank account and they actually said listen to this bat they have nowhere for me to send proof they don't have a support email or anything to send proof that they're ripping us off on tips. Also they said this that it could take up to 16 days for tips to be reversed even though it says 28 at 24 hours they said it can take up to 16 days and they can take off a tip that's complete bull

I login and then this blank screen immediately popped up and it says this and I’ve called several times they just say IT will get back with me that they’ll fix it in 24-48hr and hang up super quickly. Walmart do better. Ridiculous

As a driver, I strive to provide good service and ensure customer satisfaction; however, issues with the customer's address mean I don't get paid the full amount—just a fraction. On top of that, across my more than 300 trips, I’ve lost count of how many times the merchants have cancelled on me, causing me to lose out—yet there are no penalties for the establishments or for the customers who provide the wrong address.

I usually order my groceries to be delivered around 1pm on weekdays. I do this because I am home, and theoretically it shouldn’t be a super busy time as most people would be working. Tell me why my order got delayed twice, NOT due to the store. My order was listed as shopped and waiting for a delivery driver. It is now 3:36. Not only was it delayed twice, the driver with my order has made three stops prior to my home. So now it is delayed even more. I understand people taking priority that pay for express delivery. However, I am not okay with the fact that due to your service my order is two hours late, and the $2.99 extra someone else paid is STILL your priority. WTH. And I’m still expected to tip 20% for horrible service, because you’re going to tell me it’s not your drivers fault. I understand that, but at the end of the day the service is terrible. WHY am I expected to tip for terrible service no matter who’s fault it is?

This is about Spark customer service. Be very careful when applying. If there's a small mistake with a DL or anything else, there's no way to fix it. Spark customer service is terrible; they give ticket numbers but don't track tickets or notes for anyone who calls in. Be cautious.

Make many excuses! They just say don't worry.

The lack of communication or care for those who use this app by the powers that be a ridiculous

Driver Mario arrives at the entry front gate and calls me for the code. I provide code and clearly let him in. So I'm waiting for my package in real time and he never shows up. Somewhere between the gated entrance and my unit. He simply disappears. The pic of the delivery is the bldg, not my front door. I think Mario knows exactly what happened to my package. It's disgusting what these drivers are doing.

Don't waste your time with this app. The earnings are negligible most of the time; you only get paid for delivering items to the customer, and on top of that, you have to buy the items yourself—time you aren't paid for. They leave it up to the customer to compensate you through tips, but in most cases, the customer leaves nothing.

Never go out of your way to deliver a package for spark, they don't care and won't pay you an extra dime for anything. Gave me the wrong address which took me 9 miles off GPS and then told me AFTER I delivered that there was nothing they can do. Next time I'm leaving where the address says to leave . Point blank period

We ordered groceries to be delivered. App said everything was ready to be delivered,then they couldn't find a driver. We had to cancel our order and waiting for the money to be returned to us so we can get groceries. The little money we had to get groceries and with 3 kids! We now don't have no groceries and don't know what to do besides wait for the money. They need to get thier stuff more organized. It's like 2026!! Very disappointing. And they act like they don't care and Im full of crap.

I would give this negative stars if I could. I want to say s/o to the guy at Walmart for helping figure out what's going with my order. For the most part I have only had one issue with a spark driver who called once, I called right back but they decided they weren't going to deliver my groceries and just went back to the store. This time around, my order keeps getting denied and has been since YESTERDAY AFTERNOON. You signed up to do a job just like everyone else has to do there jobs. There are some people who physically can't leave their homes, the economy is trash not everyone can afford to tip a lot. People can barely afford these groceries so, for yall to sit there deny order after order because you don't feel like doing it or its not worth your time, I recommend you find a different job. Matter of fact just close spark down completely because it doesn't seem like yall give a shit about your employees, you damn sure don't care about the customers.

Too much has went on to type. They need to hire people that will SHOW up to work and actually care. Deliveries have been consistently delayed due to a driver shortage but there is a waiting list to get hired? How does that work?
