We had the pleasure of having John from Southwest Discots Direct provide DJ services at our wedding, and he was absolutely phenomenal. From the very beginning, his communication was excellent, making the planning process smooth and stress-free. The online portal for us and our guests to request songs in advance was incredibly useful, and everyone loved being able to contribute to the playlist in the run-up to the wedding.
John arrived early in the morning to set up the decorations and garden games, and his friendly and approachable nature made him so easy to work with. His DJ setup looked amazing, and the uplights truly transformed the room into a stunning party venue. John kept the tunes going all night, playing all the songs we requested and ensuring the dance floor was always lively. His lighting also made for some great photos!
His professionalism and attention to detail provided us with a flawless service, making our special day even more memorable. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ and the package he provided was such good value for money. Thank you, John, for making our wedding day perfect!

We used John for our wedding evening music and it was fantastic start to finish. John ensured that our first dance song was the correct version, as well as the correct timings as we welcomed our daughter on to the dancefloor and then welcoming everyone else to the dancefloor at certain times. All the songs played were perfect, any requests were played and John took requests on the day. Highly recommend for any event you may have! 5 stars!

John was amazing from start of booking process to the event itself. Nothing was too much trouble he even double checked a few days before that it had the right version of our first dance!

Southwest Discos Direct did an amazing job on our wedding day! John, the owner is very friendly and quick at responding to any queries we had! What I loved about the service is that you can access a portal to upload songs you want played. You can also send your guests portal access so they can add songs! It was so easy to use and you can remove any songs you don't like which your guests add (haha!). We would just like to say thank you so much, he delivered everything we asked for and we would 100% recommend!

John was exactly what we were looking for, listened to our requests and made it a night to remember! The night wouldn’t have been the same without him.

We used southwest discos for our wedding last week and it was perfect. He was very easy to book and responded to any queries we had, overall the whole thing was so quick and painless.

The portal to add songs on was amazing as we could tailor the night to how we wanted. The guests loved dancing all night and they loved being able to make a request.

John from South West Discos Direct did an amazing job as evening DJ for our wedding, easy to book, quick to respond, loads and loads of choices for additional props if required. We went with the gold package and it was perfect. He arrived on time and had a really good set up. All music choices were superb after only having a few prompts of genres from us, but the online portal also made it really easy to choose what you want played. We had compliments all evening from our guests on the music and DJ.

John was amazing! Right from the off, communication was easy: his responses were quick and he gave us some good advice about song choices and explained how and when he'd be setting up on the day. He has a portal that is really easy to use where you can categorise songs into groups. So you can highlight which songs you really want to hear, your first dance song, and any tunes you want to veto! The DJ part of the night was fantastic! John read the room really well and played a good mix of classic party hits mixed with some other bangers. We had comments from friends and other guests saying how much they enjoyed the dancing, with a few couples dancing right to the end of the night. John was very professional and approachable, and we would thoroughly recommend him for your wedding, or any other function you've got planned. Cheers, John

John was brilliant for our wedding on the 8th March, he arrived promptly and set everything up. The set up and music was perfect and everyone danced the night away! Highly recommend.

Well, what can we say! Without music, what is a wedding?

John from start to finish was brilliant! His customer portal on his website makes planning music for your wedding a breeze! His commcation throughout the days leading up to our wedding was outstanding. It's always easier for a customer to feel like their talking to a friend and John makes that happen.

Our wedding video would not have come put as good as it did with John and his music/lights. The most important part of the day for us was having that moment where our family and friends were all together dancing. John made that memory for us and we can't thank you enough! Thank you for being a massive part of day John and thank you for being one of the best parts of our day!

John was the DJ for our wedding reception at Eastington Park. Before the day, John was very responsive, prompt and polite. He gave us the link to the portal which was so so helpful to have and also has a separate login for guests to request songs too. John arrived on time, he set up quicker than we expected and the set up was amazing. We booked the biggest set up, the platinum package, which looked amazing at our venue. The dance floor was packed all night, not one minute of the evening was there an empty dance floor. He took requests on the day too. Cannot fault John, he honestly smashed it and we couldn’t be happier. Our guests loved every minute!

John was amazing! So flexible and wanted the best for us. We run nightclubs so our brief was a party! A mixture of genres from cheese, pop, chart, RNB, house and drum and bass as well as your typical wedding songs! We had a ‘abnormal’ first dance song of sky full of stars with the drop creating a great atmosphere booster with confetti, sparklers, co2 and a real good vibe! John helped our groomsmaids execute this and really bought the night to life from the get go! All through the planning process, John was there to help understand the vibe we wanted and really catered for us and exceeded expectations! I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else to DJ our wedding!
