Such a lovely experience at the South Devon Chilli Farm. The kids loved the orchard and the tractor play equipment. A great shop full of fun gifts when visiting the area. We took lots of stuff back for family such as chilli jams, chilli chocolate! We went on a beautiful sunny day and had a great time.

My family and I are obsessed with the South Devon chilli farm products! My particular favourites are the hot chilli jam (so good with cheese), the Aleppo chilli flakes (on eggs or pasta), and the habanero ketchup (for the best bacon rolls ever!) - all so tasty and unique! We’ve also bought quite a few sets as gifts for friends & family which have gone down very well. Will definitely be stocking up again and hoping to try some new products too!

Was driving by and popped in on seeing the road signage. I particularly enjoyed the show tunnel. It was a really good learning experience. I didn’t know there were so many different varieties of chilies. I also enjoyed tasting the different flavors of chocolate and ended up buying a number of bars as gifts. Worth a visit.

Visited the SDCF a couple of times - always a great place with visitors to the area. Great shop.

Also bought bits and bobs through their website - very efficient with delivery.

Highly recommend for all your chilli needs

Well worth a visit to the Chilli Farm. A fantastic range of chilli based products (including yummy chocolate) and a wide choice of chilli plants and seeds. Not just the very hot ones. The staff are very helpful and they are quite happy for you to take a picnic and spend time just enjoying the site and it’s lovely views.

I went to the launch event for Manzanilla Chilli Jam. The farm owners, Jen and Amrit, took us on a tour and explained how they are organic and sustainable and the products are fantastic. It’s got a picnic area and orchard that kids can run around in. I would definitely go again- a new Devon destination! Love it

We took my father in law on his mobility scooter for a visit to this lovely farm. He is a PhD food scientist and was Technical Director of 2 large food companies.
He said it was a fantastic operation, very well presented and managed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, he was blown away by the superb Show Tunnel and bought 2 plants and a variety of sauces and jams. Plants are thriving in his greenhouse.
Access for his scooter was good, parking easy and we went on to explore a variety of great nearby cafes.
A really lovely and very interesting day out. Thanks to everyone at SDCF 😀

Bought chilli plants for over £50 not ONE chilli grew in any of the plants. The Carolina reaper just went dead!!!! The others have just leaves. Not even white flowers! Unbelievable! One very, very unhappy customer! I will never order from this company again.

I bought a selection of young chilli plants in 1 litre pots from SDCF and was worried they would be delivered while I was on holiday. A quick email got my plants delayed until I returned. The plants arrived today, super healthy with no sign of pests or disease.
I have bought a variety of seeds from SDCF in the past and in my experience these have had good rates of germination in a cheap heated propagator.
I would happily recommend SDCF for their plants, seeds and customer service. Thank you guys!

I’ve been buying SDCF’s plants and preserves for a few years now and can’t praise the business highly enough.

The plants are meticulously packed for delivery, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition. I’ve just received three more to add to those I bought a year or two ago. SDCF’s sauces and preserves are simply divine, with something for every palate.

The customer service is second to none. I pre-ordered one or two plants at the end of 2024 and subsequent chopped and changed the order a couple of times. The sales department couldn’t have been more patient and understanding.

I recently made a purchase at South Devon Chilli Farm. The produce was excellent, however, my seeds did not germinate. After contacting them, they have refunded me and sent some plug seedlings.
Fantastic service and I will definitely use them again.

I have bought chilli seeds from SDCF on many occasions. This year all of the seeds failed to germinate, which was probably my fault although I have had no problems in previous years. I contacted SDCF to discuss and they have sent me some Padron plants for free. Top service.

For what is supposed to be a premium supplier for quality Chilli seeds, South Devon Chilli Farm is now amongst the worst.

Couple of years ago I bought super hot chilli seeds and of the whole batch, 1 or 2 only germinated. I made a complaint about this, and they sent another batch, but only to be the same quality.

I thought they may have changed, but NO. This year was exactly the same thing.

I understand that super hots take a while to germinate and need special controlled growing conditions. I'm not a first timer on this. But these seed quality was just soo bad!

When contacting support, they just do not look to have the time to get back in touch with anyone.

From now I am looking elsewhere.

Got my seedlings and starting growing them. Noticed some of the leaves were yellowing. Didn't improve with watering and fertilising. Then I noticed the pest infection in the soil.
These seedlings were straight onto my window sill indoors when I got them so the pests have come from the farm. Now all my plants are dying. Waste of money.
I have no other plants in the house so I'm sure the pests came from the seedlings themselves.

I’d ordered some Scorpion Chilli Peppers, and thought I could only order the small packs of 5 advertised. I received an email from Nick in the fulfilment team who advised I could order a larger quantity which worked out to be cheaper than what I’d originally paid! Nick was extremely patient and helpful and provided me with all the information I requested regarding larger weights and costs, and even confirmed he would action a refund on the difference. This happened on Tuesday and by Wednesday I had my order, which was well packed. I’m extremely pleased with with the communication and the effort to advise me of a more cost effective solution. Will definitely be ordering again!

This year has been unbelievable. So many chillis.
I have strayed to other suppliers on occasion but their germination rate has been really poor.

I first bought from these guys last year when I needed some padron seeds, I have returned this year because of the excellent selection and super fast delivery times...seriously I ordered yesterday and they arrived today. Keep up the good work and I'll be sure to order again next year.

Ordered sauces and a magnet online. Everything arrived very quickly and was well packed. I always intend to buy as a gift and end up keeping them myself. Love this place. Highly recommended.
