I was called by a customer service op to get me to agree a new deal but because I am deaf I asked if the deal could be agreed by email and I was told 'no'. I didn't realise Sky were so prejudiced

I was put through to other departments…
I was put through to other departments as know one could answer my questions finally when someone was willing to talk about pricing he started to hardshell a product I didn't want he became aggressive and overbearing even ringing me back and starting again which I'm sure is illegal and I will be reporting to the ombudsman as soon as I can go with another company I will be doing

It’s also important that any conversation about pricing stays focused on what you’ve asked for — not on products you’ve said you don’t want.
Feeling pushed into a sales conversation, or spoken to in a way that feels overbearing, is not the experience you should have and I am sorry this happened. Being called back unexpectedly and having the same sales discussion repeated would understandably leave you uncomfortable and questioning whether your concerns were being taken seriously.

Just signed up for sky …
Just signed up for skyq and broadband. I’m leaving EE. the advisor was very helpful. I would not have bought from sky if the Chantry Centre didn’t have a shop there. It’s so good to deal with a real person. Let’s hope the product lives up to the great service 🙏

sky advisor THOMAS at andover chantry…
sky advisor THOMAS at andover chantry center was excellent in setting up sky broadband plus tv, being no tech savvy he took his time going through every thing , THOMAS he is in my opinion a great asset to sky. only drawback it being a booth stand and not a small enclosed area.so far so good looking foreward to phone line and connection date , virgin my existing providor quoted a massive £ 31.50 price increase to renew my contact, time will tell how good sky will be
