The engineer turned up on time with the parts to replace the compressor on my fridge freezer and associated cables. Took about an hour and a half and all was resolved when he left. Apparently the compressor had seized up.

Abysmal customer service
I ordered an expensive spare part and did so with a valid discount code for 20% off. The discount was not applied. I contacted customer service three times. On the first and second the Siemens agent agreed that I was due the discount but could not process it because their system was down. The third agent I contacted a day after I spoke to the second agent. They refused to apply the discount, could not transfer me to a manager and insisted that I should order the same item again and if the discount was applied I should return (at my cost)?the item previously ordered and not yet received. In fact I have tried reordering but of course the discount code is now out of date. It ended yesterday several days after my original order was placed and accepted.

Easy to book engineer quick to get fixed
The engineer who fixed the tumble dryer was prompt, polite and helpful.
Just disappointed that it's less than 5 years old and already needed fixing twice my last Siemens products didn't need any replacement parts or fixing until they were over 10 years old so makes me feel quality of build has gone downhill and deliberate obselescence has been built in.
