The original fault was fixed but the engineer did not check that the fridge still worked. It did not cool down so another delay of a week while another visit was arranged.

Excellent all-round service
The chap at the telephone at Siemens customer service was very helpful and we got an engineer to look at our machine very quickly. The engineer was very communicative and we were given a 3 hour window of his visit which was useful. At first, we thought we needed a new door seal but that was not the case. The engineer tested our machine and gave us some useful tips on how to clean the inside of it which we are going to initiate. Overall, we are very pleased with the service we received from Siemens. No hesitation in recommending.

The technician arrived early
The technician arrived early, but called me 20 minutes in advance to give me his ETA. This was very helpful. During his visit he kindly answered my queries about the faulty appliance. He had the required replacement part in his van, so was able to repair the appliance in the same visit. Only small negative was that he left the faulty part, some packaging and other rubbish when he left. I would have preferred he to take the rubbish with him, or at least ask me if I could dispose of it.

Having made an appointment for a home visit 10 days prior, I was emailed the day before informing me that instead of having to wait in 5 hours l now had to wait in for 11 hours. The reason given was I was bumped off as something else had come in. Unacceptable service to expect a customer to wait 11 hours.

Review of EQ600 iAroma coffee machine
You’d have to see my excitement when I realised that I won't have to froth the milk by myself to drink my favourite latte! Siemens EQ600 iAroma quickly became my favourite coffee machine out of all the ones we owned previously. That's not the only good thing about this coffee machine.
Setting up is quite easy- just follow the steps from the instructions and on the machine display.
Once all is set and ready the fun part begins. Starting with an adjustable grinder- there's 6 grinding levels. There's different types of drinks to brew: espresso, caffe crema, classic black coffee, cappuccino, latte macchiato, and an option for hot water or frothy milk only. For each drink you can adjust cup size, strength and aroma to your own liking. There's an option to add our drink preferences to favourites, which is quite handy when we're rushing in the morning.
EQ600 iAroma came with a Brita water filter which we set to the right water hardness of the area we live in.
The machine can also be connected to home network and controlled via Home Connect application, a nice option for the tech savvy coffee lovers.
The only thing I'd change about this coffee machine is the milk hose holding system- the hose just attaches to the side of the machine by magnetic pull which is not strong enough to keep the hose in place at all times. Other than that I absolutely love this coffee machine. It makes aromatic, flavourful and delicious coffee. I'm a milky coffee lover while my partner prefers a good espresso or a black coffee so Siemens EQ600 iAroma is the perfect one for us.

Easy to contact and arrange for an engineer to repair my dishwasher. All very straightforward.
A date was given and a time scale which was narrowed down before the visit.
I was kept informed before the finer arrived, who phoned to say he would arrive in about 10 mins.
He fixed the dishwasher and soon had it working again.
He was very friendly,, efficient and professional.

We are disappointed with the drying…
We are disappointed with the drying ability of our Siemens 1Q500 fully-integrated dishwasher (had in our new house since Mar 2026). We have tried every programme and there is still water on the upturned cups/mugs. We've never had this before with Bosch or AEG dishwashers! The door on our last AEG dishwasher auto-opened at the end of the cycle, and this assisted the final drying process.
