Beh I have to say that the knife cuts very well. XDJokes a part, the knife is really sharp, perfect for everything.

We ordered a gift for a friend and while the first knife arrived broken cause of a shipping damage, they sent a replacement immediately after and left the broken knife to us.

I give 5 star to both the product’s quality and the support.

Ich habe lange überlegt so hochpreisige Messer zu kaufen, aber die Anschaffung hat sich definitiv gelohnt. Die Messer sind sehr hochwertig und sehen wirklich edel aus. Mir war auch der Messerblock wichtige um die Messer nicht in der Schublade lagern zu müssen. Insgesamt kann ich sagen, dass es eine wirklich sehr gute Anschaffung war. Mit ca. 220 Euro ist die Preis-Leistung definitiv erfüllt. Die Messer sind super scharf und es macht Spaß mit ihnen zu kochen!

They sent the wrong knives. We bought a set of expensive knives but they sent cheaper ones, we had to fight with them to take the knives back and gives us a refund. We finally got a refund after getting the credit card company involved. They they had the nerve to ask us to take down the bad review and they will send us free knives, we said no. So put 2 and 2 together and I bet a lot of the reviews are fake cause they got a free knife to change the bad review! Never buy anything from them!

I was very happy with the knife. It looks beautiful, is extremely sharp, and I really enjoy working with it as a professional head chef.

I ordered a set of 3 knives with a magnetic holder on wall. The delivery took place the exact day of the expected date, but the package contained only 2 knives. Once I wrote to the customer support I've got very quick response and explanation that the 3d knife has been sent in another delivery package due to some explained reasons, so now waiting for the 3d knife :)

For now I can admit the incredible quality of the 2/3 knives I've got (will update this comment if something changes on receiving the 3d one) and magnetic holder is perfect + really quick and pleasant feedback from the customer service.

I’ve ordered from Shan Zu twice now—once through Amazon and once directly from their website. From now on, I’ll definitely be ordering directly. The quality of these knives is exceptional, shipping was fast, and the Shan Zu team was incredibly kind and responsive, staying in touch to answer any questions I had. We are SO happy with our purchase!

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Order was supposed to arrive in 5-6 days. It’s been weeks and it still hasn’t shipped. The tracking info I was given doesn’t work. No one answers the online chat help, no one answers emails or the phone when I call. At this point I’m convinced this company is a full scam.

Made order from Amazon, got that order quickly. Ordered from their direct side ended up canceling the order as I had waited an extended period. Requested and received refund. Due to timing response was slow at this time, but they did respond. They apologized for the delay. They are looking to have good customer relations and are rectifying the one bad experience. I will be ordering from them in the near future.

Went online to purchase a set of Knives for my wife's birthday. When she opened the present on her birthday they sent the wrong knives. I was furious. It took me a week with endless emails to try and contact the company. They sent a set of very cheap copy of Chinese knives nothing like the photos online. After weeks of emails trying to get them to send the knives I purchased I give up trying to sort this out and eventually received a refund from my credit card company. NEVER buy anything from this company.

I ordered a set of three Tengu knives. One, an 8 inch Chef's knife is a present for friends. The others are a 7 inch Santoku and a paring knife. The order came in a week.
I love the heft of the Santoku. It feels solid. And it's a very handsome knife with a little extra from the blade pattern and the burl wood plus resign handle. The handle fits in my moderately large hands quite wonderfully and the contouring feels perfect. The balance works for a pinch grip and for using just the handle. I cut carrots, an onion, zucchini, Napa cabbage, and firm tofu. It was fast and easy, so fast I realized I spent maybe half the typical amount of prep time. It's a bit sad because I enjoyed using the knife and the experience of holding it.
I'm a certified chef and was sous chef in one of the most acclaimed kitchens in Seattle. I used, and still have, some of the best German knives. This knife feels like a huge improvement. I'm looking forward to using the paring knife and wonder if my friends will get as much pleasure from the Chef's knife.

Item arrived promptly and in excellent condition. The knife works beautifully on bread and rolls, especially hot out of the air fryer.

I bought some chef knives for my grandad and when I say they look better in person I mean it the blades are beautiful crafted and you can tell the people making these have a real passion just by the quality don't get me wrong communication to the company isn't 100% but what do you expect when your buying direct from the other side of the world my purchase was the vanus line of knives and they are beautiful and amazing for all your slicing and dicing needs

I accidentally gave the wrong address upon placing my order and they offered a generous return policy. They genuinely care about the customer service and responded promptly! Would 100% order again when thinking about a next present!

I have three SHAN ZU knives, a sharpening stone and a sharpening steel. So, I wanted to get a chiefs' knife for my daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately, I typed in the wrong address and it was delivered to the wrong person.

Fortunately, the SHAN ZU customer service team got on my problem immediately! Through frequent updates, they sympathized with my problem and a new knife is on the way!
