I needed a new machine, so my sewing teacher rang Barnyarns and found a really good second hand one.

The price was excellent and the machine was given a full service before I was allowed to take it home.

I’ve been using Bernina sewing machines for 60 years and since I’ve found the Sew centre at Barnyarns at I’m more excited than ever .ive just purchased a new Bernina 770QE Pro with embroidery attachment . It’s another world with all the help you need from masterclass tuition classes with Janet who goes through all you need to know about your new machine . All the staff are really pleasant and helpful only a phone call away and will take you through any problems you may have .

Just purchased a janome m8 from sew ctr . What a great experiance from start to finnish nothing was too much trouble, this place is well worth a visit and the staff are so helpful big shout out to Ben who went the extra mile and really looked after me Its nice in this day and age to get good service 100 percent will use again

Ordering new machine and the service on my old one went smoothly to plan.
The only slight hitch was the incorrect free motion foot being supplied with the new machine. However this was sorted very swiftly with the correct foot sent by post.

This was the 2nd course I've taken and it was as fab as the first one. Janet is a patient instructor who knows her stuff. I arrived not knowing much about my machine's secrets and by the end of the day I felt much more comfortable with all the functions. Thank you, and I'll be back for another workshop in future!

I was impressed that it took less than a week to be delivered as I live so far from the company (North East Scotland) and I had ordered on a Friday afternoon.
The company phoned me before closing on the Friday to let me know that it would be dispatched on the Monday and I received it on Thursday. z

My machine has been sluggish and full of fluff. I took it to be serviced for the second time to the Sew Centre.
Once I got it home I used it straight away. What a difference and how lovely and clean it is. It is two years since it was last serviced by the Sew Centre, I ought to get it done more often.
I recommend the Sew Centre and the staff are so very helpful. The samples of the stitching are a great idea and the written report tells me what has been done.

The staff are amazing . Nothing is too much for them. From arriving for the b990 master class Chris didn't just ask to help with bringing in my machine he helped get it out of my case and onto the table.
The tutor Janet was amazing . Her ability to manage some very determined ladies master different aspects of their machines while at keeping us on task to complete our schedules without pressure brilliant . These people really know their stuff and delight in sharing that knowledge.
If you are thinking about booking a course, don't wait get on one, just do it you won't be disappointed.

Sew Centre have just serviced my Pfaff sewing machine & Janome Overlocker & I am very pleased with the excellent service they provided. I did have a slight problem with the darning stitch on my machine & took samples in to ask for help & this was investigated & on collection was fully explained where I had been going wrong & a sample of the correct stitch was provided - very helpful & easy to understand. When I bought my Pfaff machine I chose Sew Centre as they are a family run firm and had extremely good reviews and this has been reflected in the service I have received. They also have a fabulous shop on site that stocks everything you would need - I could have spent all day there if I'd had the time. I regularly use their website which is also very user friendly & often has special offers available. Thank you to both Chris & Will for providing excellent service all round.

I visited this company earlier this week to attend one of their courses "Master your embroidery unit". I've had my embroidery machine for over a year not really being able to understand it fully. This course has given me the confidence to experiment with my machine and to understand how to use it correctly. The tutor Janet was a fabulous lady with so much knowledge and really made this course so informative and worthwhile. I recommend anyone who is having difficulty grasping how to use their machine to attend. You won't be disappointed

I rang the Sew Centre to enquire about a machine service for my Bernina. They were very helpful, and the machine service was competitively priced. The machine was collected on Saturday and returned the following week having had a full service. There is a stitch out, and a detailed list of what has been checked, plus advice. I dealt with Chris who was pleasant and knowledgable and could answer all questions I had about the machine and the service procedure. I will be using them to service my machine in the future. Would definitely recommend.

I have delt with Barnyarns Sew Centre several times and each time I have received excellent service. the last time I delt with them was when I purchased my Babylock Gloria overlock/coverlock machine. I exchanged this for my old Babylock Ovation machine and the process was quick and simple. The Gloria was a great buy and is the best Overlock machine I have ever owned.
