Don’t ever purchase one ! You got. Select pin right away otherwise they will steal from you and you can’t even use it for online purchase false advertising on gift card saying you can do online purchase when you can’t I understand for secure purposes but still why put that on card if you can’t use it can’t

I appealed to BBB and got contact with the company, Incomm Payments. Someone from that company contacted me and asked about two of the transactions. Then on 10/11/2024, they told me my dispute was declined because it was too late for me to appeal. They said it is written on the gift card policy in the extreme small fonts.

This securespend gift card is the worst business. I purchased a gift card of $400.00 on June 6 2024. I used it on the same day to pay chatGPT. But that transaction was declined. Then on June 7, 2024, two purchases in Culver City, CA were made with a total of $203 for TikTok Shop. One purchase was made in Coraopolis PA from DicksSportingGoods.com for $129. On June 8, 2024, a purchase of $45 was made in Anaheim CA, PACSUN. The last one was made on June 17, 2024, in Valdosta GA, Walmart.

I tried to login their website. It does not require any information other than the card numbers, expiration days. After login, one can easily change the PIN.

I called the customer service. They insisted asking for my private information to process. I even told the guy there that I have the credit card transaction to purchase this gift card. The guy says he cannot help if I do not provide private information. I told him that your company cannot be trusted at all. How come you can keep my private information safe?

Scammer fake company i purchased a car from Walmart $300 the card is empty I called them in same day and they told wait 30 days for refund I waited 30 days and they said wait another 90 days

Do not!! I repeat! Do not buy this card!! I purchase the card on 9-5-2024 from Safeway Supermarket for $310 and the next day there was 15 charges from pastureyshopllc for $4.99.All FRAUDulent charges! 8 called to report and was given 3 representatives a supervisor and manager. Now I have to wait 90 days to be refunded. Horrible!

On May 16 2024 I purchased a prepaid debit card (MasterCard Securespend). When I got home I checked the balance on a "securespend" website. That website was a fake and it stole all the money on the card instantly. I reported this to securespend.com. They claimed that I would receive a new card with the money on it within 90 days. But after 90 days still no card. When I called them to tell them that I did not receive a card. They told me that my dispute had been turned down. They could give me no other information as to why.

The site that impersonated the securespend.com site is still up and operating. Over 20 years ago every company (big or small) knew that they had to buy any website address that resembled their company's website to keep their customers from going to the wrong website and getting robbed or deceived. However, the fake website that regularly steals money from securespend.com's customers is still running and is in the top 5 websites listed when you search "securespend". Why has securespend.com not bought or in some way shut this fake website down? It sure does make me wonder because the money stolen must be in the billions. I'm also writing to the Attorney General of my state, to the Better Business Bureau, to MasterCard, to Visa, and to Walmart (where I purchased the card). I hope all of you (who have been swindled) do too.

For the second year in a row, I purchased one of these gift cards to pay for my NFL service. For the second year the card had been used before I returned home from Wal-Mart. At least last year the amount was refunded. Now I have learned not to fool with this company again.

Had money on a secure spend visa ..used it last in early June at an airport for food.. Should have had $148 balance . just checked the balance and it said someone used $120 dollars around there on July 1st I know I did not use it. It said I had 20 something as a balance and now it says my card has a problem. This is a scam!

My son bought me one for my birthday and it was used across the country. I found out when I went to purchase gas and it declined. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS GIFT CARD! IREAD REVIEWS WHERE IT HAS HAPPENED TO LOTS OF PEOPLE AND MUCH MORE MONEY!!!!!! Called them back after denial of refund and said card was already denied!!! They do not refund money on card!

Pure garbage company. Bought card as spending money for a disabled person's vacation. $7.95 was charged to the card, and when I was able to finally speak to a person they did send another card, but at no time was I ever able to check the balance as online customer service would always say system error when card info was entered, and calling the service number on the card only repeatedly said I had entered the wrong number, which I know wasn't accurate because I could see the numbers I entered on my phone. I will be advising anyone that will listen to avoid this company.

I purchased this card to make an online payment, card would not work. I checked online,35$ was charged online. I have called customer service over and over. Every time they give me different info never a solution. I wish I had read the reviews beforehand but I did learn to never purchase with them again and warn everyone I know in person and social media, this company is a rip off. I only got 35$ stolen from me but others fall victim for hundreds or thousands of Dollars. Something legal needs to be done to this company. They need to pay back what they've stolen.

The whole company is a scam. Bought two cards ndd out 500 on each on a Friday by Saturday they stole every dime I had on them cards. I reported it to the better business bureau and now waiting on a response. The cut my card off to where I couldn't screenshot the transaction and wouldn't even send a copy of the transaction but I recorded the guy saying what happened and sent the recording as proof.

Bought 4 securespend prepaid Mastercards. Have used them to purchase items, always write down balance left on cards. Now not being able to purchase items. Tried to verify the balance on their site. Always get an invalid message. What a SCAM. Now out $180.00. Do not buy.

Bought a gift card at Wal-Mart and logged in to create a pin and check balance. I went to check balance again and it gives me an error.

I waited over 24 hours and still can't access or use this card. Every time i call the number on the back of the card it conveniently hangs up at the same time every time.

I got a securespend visa card as a gift for 200 dollars, as soon as I went to use the card , the whole 200 dollars was gone. This is so wrong!!!! How can these stores sell a scammers card and help these scammers. I will never get another securespend card and I will post this all over Facebook, tic toc, social media and everywhere I go to even on the jobs and factorys around me!!! Spread the word!!!! This Company is a SCAM!!!! Their getting rich off us honest people!!! DO NOT BUY THIS CARD OR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I can not believe that you can actually charge people for a card at the store to put money on as a gift or whatever, then turn around and take their money before they even get the chance to use the card. It's a disgrace and it is completely wrong. I'm sorry but with all the reviews of this certain card, stores should really pull.it off shelves and stop helping other people to spend our money. Never ever will I get another secure spend and if I have it my way I'm gonna fight to have them pulled out of stores.

If I could give a negative number of stars I would. what a scam, card's don't work, calling in is a joke - be prepared to sit on hold indefinitely. AVOID

I purchased a Visa gift card through this company to provide someone emergency funds without them having to carry cash. I followed the card packet's instructions to check the card balance online before giving it to the other person, but the website isn't working. The card advertises clearly on its front, "Non-Reloadable Gift Card Safe for online shipping, traveling, paying bills, and more!" and "No Registration Required." Many consumers purchase these no-registration cards to use them like cash. We give them to others so they have access to emergency funds without having to worry about hiding bills/cash AND there's no conflict with other people using our main credit cards OR chance of hackers pilfering our private data.

FLAG ONE -- SecureSpend's website kept returning error messages--that the card info entered was invalid. This continued even the following day, requiring me to call customer support. They first demanded that I enter the card details. FLAG TWO -- now they've linked this no-registration card with our mobile number which is a primary personally-identifying-data source. That's implicit registration. But even THEN, the automated voice system kept saying the card details were invalid.

After a long wait on hold, I finally got to speak with a customer support agent who, again, asked me to verify the card info. He then assured me the card is active and, as an excuse, said the company has been experiencing website difficulties. That's not the consumer's problem! These cards are EXPENSIVE, but consumers buy them to protect our personally identifying information (like our email address or mobile #) from potential data breaches and scams. FLAG THREE -- SecureSpend, however, refused to refund me the exorbitant fee to load cash on this no-registration card that ... required registration! This is false advertising.

Why are these companies entitled to break advertising fidelity rules with impunity? If you're trying to protect yourself from becoming a victim of very lucrative and increasingly common financial services data breaches, look elsewhere. SecureSpend may still require you to call them, record your mobile number and name, and link these to the credit card number. You might as well just use your regular credit card OR use other truly privacy-respecting--and faster!--payment options.

To corroborate this review, I've kept the store receipt where the card was purchased and snap-shots of the multi-day website denial of accurately entered card data.
