The tracking for the delivery is accessible easily and the delivery service was very much appreciated. They delivered with care, very friendly service, respect my property and the arrangement of furniture was very perfect.

When my husband and I entered the shop we were greeted by Raj, he was friendly, but not pushy. We liked a couple of sofas and Raj talked us through material choices and the different types of cushion fillings. We didn’t know that you can have any sofa covered in any of the wide range of materials. Another bonus is it is free delivery at the moment! Very pleased with our purchase. Thanks Raj

Excellent customer service, very personal and friendly

Absolutely terrible, how is ScS even on check a trade ?We have had a terrible experience from ordering a sofa at the beginning of September to having no sofas over Christmas, having let our old ones go after they confirmed a delivery date. Subsequently 2 more delivery dates were given and then cancelled. After 4 months of being messed around, we had to request a refund and start all over again, and that will definitely not be with ScS. Poor customer service, we actually want to give them no stars.

The salesman was extremely helpful and very polite

The purchase of our sofa at Lakeside was not pleasant at all. We were sold this leather sofa priced at just under £3000 using high pressure sales techniques. Fortunately we were decided on what we wanted so it did not matter how quickly we were expected to commit to this big purchase. The thing I noticed was the manager and sales person, both mature men were playing out an act, saying they could give me some discount if only I made the purchase instantly. I found it very unprofessional that they were selling a sofa and they did not bother to ask the customer if it would fit in the living area rather than sell me everything I did not ask for, like insurance and a cheap care kit.
On to a more positive note, the delivery operatives were extremely polite and professional. They kept me informed of their arrival at all times. They set up the sofa and took all the packaging away.
I could not commend these guys enough.
P.S ScS’s customer service number is useless, you can never get through. The online tracking is also a gimmick that has never worked.

Still not had delivery. Months ago. Will have to look up the deets plus sent an email no reply.

Ordered a 2 & 3 Seater sofa in August 2024. Keep getting emails to delay, delay, delay delivery. I have been emailing customer support but they never reply.
Its now Mid December 2024 and received a further email to say it will now be delivered 2025. Joke of a company, do not reply to emails or telephone calls. Also refuse to refund deposit. Go else where
UPDATE...
After 4 month wait and still no sofa (expected to be a further month) I finally got a phone call today to say they agree to cancel my order and refund my deposit of £500. Let's hope it don't take another 4 months for refund!

Friendly staff welcomming but no furniture as yet

AVOID AVOID AVOID- purchased in August, paid when requested due to imminent delivery in October. Several promises of updates, call backs etc. management hiding behind emails and not making or taking calls, leaving customer service representatives to deal with enquiries but with no access to information.
Advised that furniture n transit from Wales to Basildon on the 18th November but now noone can find out where it is. 2 & 3 seat sofas, surely not that easy to lose.
Cancellation managers appear releived when dealing with potential refunds, very cohersive and almost desperate to get another unhappy customer off the list.

So, an update regarding delivery on the 1/12 to the distribution centre and the eagerly anticipated call to arrange delivery.
Neither happened (again).
Press 1 to keep your place in the queue and we will call you back. That didn’t happen either.
The conclusion today having spent an abnormally long time on the phone getting nowhere. The suite that we were told was in transit from Wales to Basildon is lost (not the words used by SCS) they just say that they are not sure where it is. (Maybe it’s not lost, just mislaid!)
Strange thing though, SCS jump at the chance and respond extremely quickly to cancel an order rather than assist with the actual delivery.
I wouldn’t really trust them to manage the logistics for the delivery of a foot stool.
Look out for the next instalment of this saga, sure to be full of lies, failed promises, general buck passing and confusion.

Guys came in after taking my advice to come round to the back. They looked where the pieces were going, unwrapped them and then took all the packaging away then photographed some damage for their report. They then connected all the plugs and checked everything was working.

i found that the person who served me was quite pushy,and followed me around the showroom all the time,made me feel uncomfertable

The gentleman who helped me with my choice of sofa was very knowledgeable, and patient, nothing was too much trouble. I think his name was Chris.
